Rather than Miguel actually being a cop, he would just be using Lei as a means to an end while Lei is actually doing his job but has to work with Miguel because of a forced or desperate circumstance.

If you don't know. The Narrator DID want in FACT to have more emotion but they tell him no. I'm guessing this is a Japanese thing because im not if you notice, most Japanese movies, shows and other anime usually have the narrator talk in monotone in Japanese. While they works in Japanese it doesn't work in other languages such as English.

Anime and general japan fanatic here. This is not true; it's true for variety shows and other types of media where the narrator is literally a background fill to let the audience know what's going on. But narrators are not at all monotone in general - it's very varied, depending on the function the narrator is supposed to have. And as Damastah brought up an excellent counter-argument: Norio Wakamoto is never monotone. If they TOLD him to do it, there was a failed creative reasoning - not a cultural one.
The Narrator was boring, T6 story mode was way better

I played so much Team Battle in Tekken 6. It was a great way to keep the game fresh against the people you play with all the time.
I dont understand why they havent added online team battle where teams of people fight against each other.
I was honestly expecting him to get all defensive and deflect all criticisms that the video brought up out of fanboyism, but I'm pleased to see that he stayed neutral and accepted some of the legitimate flaws with Tekken 7.
I love Tekken 7, but I have to agree it could use improvements in a lot of areas.

I disagree with any argument for the story mode. It was shit all around, in every possible way. Bring us back the arcade story system, with proper intros and outros.

@@ogschlongerson7580 This. It really had about as much substance as me bashing toy soldiers together. Considering no one in the Tekken team excels as a writer, they shouldn't spend minutes wasting our time between each fight.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg. I dislike the whole "revolving main character" idea from modern fighting games, but at least take some notes from Netherrealm. Go through the entire cast having multiple fights with each so the player has some time to grasp the controls. If you need to add an input assist to your main game mode, it should be obvious that the design is messed up.
Aside from iconic moves being removed from certain characters while many of the legacy cast are still missing, the new goofy characters that don't even fit into the story, the lack of Survival mode, Team Battle and Tekken Force, poor customizations and other bugs, Tekken 7 isn't that bad.

You can glitch geese, eliza, and noctis into practice by hovering over their panel and moving to random while simultaneously selecting the character and it will pick one of them. Sorta like a just frame character select. And they only work in the second player slot for some reason.

Fun fact: Apparently, the VA that voiced the narrator for Story Mode is the same VA that voices the splash screen before you fight.

Two dojo stages? Geese's stage is awesome, and unique, so I don't really get his complaint with that...
They really did ruin the lighting on a lot of the stages though.

I think it's a good thing that they changed the color palette of Twilight Conflict. The characters are so much more readable and visually distinct from the background in the FR/Console version. Souq and Dragon's Nest aren't too bad, but I still think the current versions are more readable, and i'll take that over how pretty it looks.

The fact that in the old days you can EARN extra characters and Tekken Bowl/Volleyball. It’s like nowadays they want you to pay for extra content instead of just having it as an unlock which gave more of a reason for people to grind a game

As a person who just bought Tekken 7 and is new to the combo system. I never used it. While playing kazuya, I use the assists from story mode to online to do EWGF. But assist combos are so trash and don’t even do much damage. Even bread and butter combos do more and takes no effort at all
Actually seeing clip. Combo assist might be helpful to Kazumi. One of her combo finishers is dash into back forward move. At 3 bars it's almost impossible to input, at 4 it's like frame perfect and 5 bars just a myth.
It's not -that- hard compared to a lot of other techniques in the game. Jin's EWHF combo requires a micro-dash into b,f3 and has a significantly shorter window to be input.
I am pretty sure that the assist only did EWGF in story mode. If you use it against other players, it is just a regular, very slow WGF
How did no one mettion the absolutly unbeatable secret fight between kazyua and akuma...dude shoots fireballs faster and more often than a pornstar finishing off on a girl's face... unblockble moves, shield and regenerating health...

I was really hoping to see Bruce's and Eddy's connection to Kazuya. But Bruce wasn't in the game and Eddy's story COMPLETELY let me down.
I do think rank inflation is real but I thought it was far more riduclous that being tekken god prime pretty much required you to almost never lose and being super high rank was incredibly rare.

Casual fan here. I don’t use the basic combo but I do on occasion use the combo it has attached to the L buttons. Only on occasion though it is more fun actually trying to do the combo
Actually, you can do a Offline Tournament, all you need to do is go to Settings and enable it. And then the Vs option appears with a trophy, thats the real tournament option.
I didn't really like Tag 2 customs that match, especially compared to T6, this is only because every custom could be equipped to every fighter without there being any fits unique to a certain character
We need more legacy characters & tell Harada to do something about people being able to close application when they see their opponents name/char panel come up in ranked. Make it minus their points or give them a %

Coincidentally, my girlfriend plays Tekken 7 with me even though she doesn't play video games (least of all a fighting game) at all. I tried teaching her which buttons controlled which limb, but she was too impatient. Thanks to the new basic combo system, we are able to play together and she has a lot of fun. I guess it was implemented with brand baby new players in mind.

I had bowlin already implemented in my pc version. I did all those things: threw about 6 times, almost always nailed it (not sure about game difficulty, but it seems like all in the game comes to setting the same parameters for the throw and pinpoint highest force), offered it 3 times to my buddies and got turned down 3 times. Is it any good? hard to say... is it bad? prolly yeah...

on ps4 connections get lost really often, if they punished pluggers, we all get punished for something that isnt our fault. idk y in 2018 the online is so sketchy.

Tag2U (arcade ver.) lars was the best just because (SE) DF1 can be used as combo ender and can be followed by DB 2,1 and if the opponent roll back it can pick up the opponent and make another combo. BROKEN AS FUCK but was so much fun when the opponent doesn't know it. Also DF2. Lol.
You're wrong about AI. Well, not entirely. I think it is being recycled since T6. And it's been made weaker too. T5DR had the strongest AI with it's ghost system. High rank bots would allways electric fisted you for tiniest wiffs etc.
T5's AI was the strongest imo, you just would not be able to Electric bots unless you set some traps (not all of them always works though), or even hellsweep them, high rank bots/ultra hard difficulty would ALMOST ALWAYS duck and/or block the moves and punish you. Usually, punishing them and using some certain abusable moves such az Kaz d/f 2, Hei d1 2 etc. (Also usually mids were good in general aswell) worked against them and of course some setups (or sidestepping, or letting them do unsafe moves, although they had the tendencies to have a certain style, they were extremely good at blocking, or even making you whiff sometimes) were effective against them.
@@TheLollyPoooper Old bots are strong not only thx to their defence. It's their defence + their punnishment. It's allways on point. These days AI not only can't into proper defence but descision making as well. Scrubing them out with specific moves is kind of ruinous for your skill. Even those strong bots were shitty at attacking. The whole point of them was to teach you good defence and punnishment. You had to step, space out or block unsaves to get any results AND improve or at least not get worse. Off course it's easy to just pick Jin abuse his d+1. Every T5 and TDR bot ever would get hit by that one.
