I’m watching this 7 months later and Chris Reed was spot on with a couple things.
    -assassination attempt on trump
    - riots in Europe
    -Paris controversy
    -Biden dropping out of election

What if someone in the past saw an attempt against Ronald Reagan and then warned people to pray against it? They would've been correct regardless if it made them look right either way it played out. There was an attempt and the attempt was stopped. If God said it, it's true regardless of how the man looks. Look at the true prophet Jonah. He sure did look some kind of way when his word to Ninevah failed to materialize. And yet God's word was true regardless of how things appeared. This is not an endorsement of Reed. It is also not an indictment. I am not familiar with his prophecies.

Many people saw assassination attemps. It happened before. It can happen again. But you all approach the prophetic words wrong. You can weight in (1 Cor 14) but you don't judge it prematurely. You wait and see (Deuter 18)

Josh you did great! YOU WERE BOLD AND COURAGEOUS I LOVE IT!!!! I come from the same background as you and totally understand your heart and have prayed for the same reform prophetically to come to the church and that jargon is NOT helpful for those struggling trusting true prophecy and the gifts due to misuse, and bad charisma with NO ACCOUNTABILITY!!!! The LORD will bring this “honor culture” non sense down its man idolatry! Which is also sin! Some of these teachers and prophets are equally becoming “Idols” themselves and blindly unknowing it! Chris Rosebrough of TH-cam Fighting For The Faith channel is an excellent teacher, critic of false prophets. He's testified of miraculous healings he's seen and so is not completely against "the gifts." He just feels the gospel is enough, and there's no need for signs, miracles, or prophecy, and those who seek them are easy to deceive.

He does a lot to help people in need. Feeds tens of thousands of people every year, and rescues numbers of children and individuals from human trafficking. I realized a few years ago there were issues with Troy's teaching. It really does breaks my heart.

2nd. If you think that your teaching will be perfect because you're "led" by the spirit, you're being silly. No one is perfect and we ALL are constantly learning until we die. I wish it were that simple but it isn't. And telling people that they will never be wrong if there led by the spirit is saying we all know when we are being led perfectly at all times. And that kind of thinking does more damage than good. It's just not reality..

I can't for the life of me understand how anyone can say Chris Reed is a valid prophet. I listen to him preach and I hear him twists the scriptures time and again, he gets prophesy wrong time and time again.
I'm flabbergasted! I agree with Josh here. He has red flags all over the place. the apostle john in turkey?
Can he even articulate the gospel? Can he exegete a passage of scripture? Can anyone provide me a link?
To me there is no difference between Black, Bruer, Jennifer LeClair and Chris Reed. Chris said he "speaks into" and Jennifer said she "decrees and declares" Maybe the fellas like Chris Reed better because they're his mates or they have more colleagues in common and Jennifer doesn't? I don't know.
You guys are way too lenient in my opinion but that said i do like that you guys do these episodes. I loved when Josh said that the gospel must be preached to defeat the enemy. Excellent. I'm still waiting and hoping the remnant guys do a series on the Lakeland revival. Cant wait!

Just a note on the guy who kept calling the Hebrew year 5784. We're not in 5784. According to the Bible the new year happens when the barley is aviv or ripe, this happens in the spring. The passover feast is celebrated in the first month of the year.
Rosh hoshannah in the Fall that most call the "Hebrew New Year" is actually the Babylonian new year that the Hebrews adopted whole they were in exile.

Watching from Namibia. My question when listening to many of the propbetic words are: Even if the word was accurate, why do we need to have that information? God is not into just giving information about the future for fun. If the word does not directly glorify God by exhorting or warning the church specifically, what is the point of the word?
Also when judging a word that was given we can judge it at a physical level, but also at a spiritual level. I believe our goal should be to practice and be able to discern in the spirit only whether someone is from the Lord or not. We should remember that even satan's people can give prophetic words that will come to pass. Words coming to pass is a good place to start, but it cannot be the only measuring stick we use to prove legitimacy.

    • @LITTYWorldMusiKENT
      @LITTYWorldMusiKENT 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Let me share something with you concerning the prophetic
1.NEVER EVER say that Yhwh isn’t into given words for fun , learn who Jesus messiah really is because he has a lot of diverse sides to his personality , he shares words for warning and edification, edification comes
      In many forms and
      One is
      To uplift people and
You definitely can have fun doing that … ministry ain’t all
Stiff and tight necked and mean faces as some personalities
      Would like to deem
It because that is the humanistic flesh God is a Spirit with a personality
      2. When prophesying extra information like numbers or names etc. the purpose of that is because it increases the faith for one and next if there be unbelievers near by then they who don’t believe will possibly believe because only God himself can know certain unknown things.
So when a vessel of the Messiah is used in accurate information then it is a fruitful thing because it gets believes and unbelievers to increase their faith in God overall …
      Also saying
Extra information proves and shows the detail and forensic prophecy of the one who is delivering yhwh word which shows true nature and character and God’s love for the soul and
Their life details which is always good (pay attention to the details) the Holy Spirit is in every detail
      Of our life…
      3.
Lastly , but NOT least … words manifesting proves a prophet is accurate and real in prophecy , if the person says a false word then you would LABEL them false right ? So if the word is accurate, then it’s safe to say that the word is not false ? Make it make sense bro ?
Lastly I will say that psychics can speak accurate words , but prophecy isn’t just words it’s always accompanied by POWER -
When a prophet release the word is given , but the power upon the word is what changes the situations of a soul’s life…
      So
Yes a witch can give a word , but a witch cannot change lives with their words and
That’s the primary difference and measuring stick
For the prophetic totality as you put it …
HERE IS A BONUS FOR YOU:
A true prophet doesn’t even always have to get a word from God to speak a word , sometimes it’s simply
By the word of the prophet and because they are who they are in God , God
Will honor their words just because they are his prophet …
      We
Can see this in 1 KINGS 17:1 when the prophet said mother rain or dew will fall upon the planet earth unless it is by whose word ?
It didn’t say God word , the prophet said by my word and my word alone and it came to
      Past and
      God
Honored the word of his prophet even tho God didn’t speak it
      That time …
      I
      Can go
On and on because I been doing this for a long time and the prophetic or the supernatural isn’t limited or is open for
      self
      Or
      Private interpretation
You just study more and learn more and
Sit at the feet of a good teacher in the prophetic who can shape and groom you so
You won’t misdirect or misjudge yourself
      Or others all because
You mag be limited in your understanding of the things of the spirit or
Just may need to study more ion know 🤷‍♂️ either way not trying to disrespect you , just trying to teach you better shalom

Read what the Bible says about it....and ask Father for desernment....Father will give you a knowing within your being IF the prophecy is true or false.
Over 80% of prophecies are FALSE. Father said so.
Have to be careful. Some people "live off prophecies" and that ought not be.

IMO, there are people here and elsewhere that give prophetic words concerning words about political events/people that aren't from God -- they seem more like analysis of news headlines and then an analysis is made but called prophecy.
First time I noticed this was in 1992 when Pat Robertson said on air that God told him that George H W Bush was going to win re-election. But then in November when Bill Clinton won, not a word was said, "Oh, I missed this. I made a mistake."
Chris Reid makes that sort of impression on me -- seems non-authentic to me.

This is funny to watch but it's also sad. I'm reading the chat replay as the video goes on and it's brutal. The problem I see is that no one here seems to understand how to discern prophecy. I'm not saying I'm perfect at it but at least I can listen to a lot of people and be able to tell if there's any truth to it.
Scripture has a narrative, if you understand the narrative then understand what may be true and what won't be.
The prediction of an assassination attempt that was mentioned in this video I saw this 4 years ago with Trump. I don't think he will be allowed to win or if he does won't be allowed to stay. Now do I know this for sure? No. I wrote in January 2020 that he would most likely lose the election for violating Leviticus 25:23, 2 Chronicles 6:5-6, and Joel 3:1-2 with his satanically inspired Middle East peace plan.
But even though I was 99% sure he was going to lose that November, I never want to falsely predict something (maybe I just didn't have enough faith or boldness) so I said if he did win I believed he would be assassinated.
Again I don't claim to be a prophet or have a gift to give prophecy, but I have a gift for understanding it. This guy saying it now for this coming election seems like verification of what I believed would happen if Trump won a 2nd term. Only time will tell if it's true but I wouldn't be surprised which also means if it happened I wouldn't be outraged by the event. I would have confirmation that it was the will of the LORD and to act calmly and with peace not out of fear.
Now this might be the only correct thing that person said but because of my experience, I'm paying attention to that.
this isn't political either, I'm not an American, and I'm not always a fan of Trump but that's irrelevant.
Since January 30, 2020, the LORD has been actively dismantling the West including America. An event like that would most likely send the country over the cliff.
I don't believe there are prophets, I believe there are gifts of prophecy, which to me is the discernment of biblical prophecy and sometimes words from the LORD, dreams, and visions to fill in some of the gaps, but they all have to fit the biblical narrative.
What bothers me about these reviews is not that they're right or wrong, but the hosts themselves don't have a clear understanding of the biblical narrative of prophecy. How can you evaluate whether something is true or false, whether it fits within the biblical narrative if you don't understand the biblical narrative to begin with?
Bible prophecy rarely makes sense in advance of the events but makes complete sense after the fact. But the one thing we know is that any prediction won't contradict the biblical narrative.
For example, if someone said that this year will be a year of peace, I would immediately be skeptical of their word from the LORD, because that's not the biblical narrative. Now that doesn't mean everything they say is false but I'm way more skeptical and doubtful they'd get anything correct.
Many ask how does all this glorify Jesus? When you understand the biblical narrative and you get a prophetic word that might give clarity or fill in the holes a bit and it comes to pass your faith will be strengthened and it will point to a better understanding of Eschatology and your faith won't be shaken. The LORD is going to unfold the future His Way, it will come to pass. These things are meant to strengthen our faith when these difficult times come. I find most Christians have poor theology and eschatology and so it's going to be a confusing and frustrating topic because we know there is something there but we can't discern it and others can't communicate it because they might see it, or be given a word but they have little context for it.
I'm not saying I am against these videos but the purpose I see is are people vague of specific? Has any specific prediction come to pass? If so, ok they might be legit.
But what about why they are correct? Why did they predict something and the LORD allow it to happen? Why that prophecy, how does it play into the greater narrative? What are we supposed to glean from it? For example, if an assassination attempt occurs many Americans including Christians would be outraged, but us having been told in advance would let us know it's the LORD's will, He foretold it and allowed it, so we are to be calm, level-headed, prepared just in case. That amongst the chaos our faith has been strengthened and not rattled or shaken. If such an event occurred whatever follows is exactly what the LORD wants and we are to act as ambassadors of Him and not lose our minds.
My encouragement is to get to know the biblical narrative. Understand the 30,000 ft view of Scripture before you try to figure out which is true here and which isn't.
So that as these pieces of the puzzle are given we can discern what to pay attention to and look at them as more of a heads up. But if they come to pass we weren't caught off guard. I look at them as a possible early warning system. I don't follow the person or lift them up on a pedestal, I use their words to see if they are an early warning system so I am not unprepared or knocked off balance.
I hope this helps. Take care.

One of you asked “why” does he prophesy the specific way he does - well, God speaks to him very specifically about everything. Have you not watched his sermons? He pulls people out of the crowd all the time very specifically and God uses it to encourage. His track record is excellent, both as a leader, and as a prophet. God often spoke to Bob Jones as specifically as this, and I was very encouraged to know that God is still speaking about kings and the land, just as he always has.
The Bible says not to despise the gift of prophecy. I’m all for testing the word, but it’s tricky. There can be accurate prophecy with the wrong heart (witchcraft), and words like “The virgin shall conceive and give birth” that take hundreds of years to come true. Sometimes I have had a word as strange as “garden hose” and the other person was undone by it. God works very mysteriously with this one.
My concern is your tone. Love some of your interviews, but in these you sound so critical, you border on arrogance toward the gift of prophecy altogether. Please check your hearts, guys. 🙏🏾

Chris Reed has an excellent word of knowledge. That does not count as a stamp of approval on his body-wide prophetic gift (Rick often spells out how different personal and corporate prophecy are) and so far his track record on these is far from perfect. It also doesn’t put a stamp of approval on ‘revelatory’ teaching, which has only grown more problematic in terms of his flimsy grasp on theology and his end-time preaching. It just doesn’t have that quality. Nor does it mean a stamp of approval on character like the consistent grandstanding on Paul Cain and his embarrassing role in the Bickle saga that got utterly called out by Joel Richardson.
If you want to know what type of error can come from elevating a man with a good word of knowledge into the position of global teacher and prophet, look no further than the demise of William Branham. I think Chris is young, completely in over his head, catapulted in a position that his maturity, intellect and character can’t possibly support and that he actually means well. I believe, hope and genuinely pray that he can make a good turnaround but he must work hard not to fall into the utterly erroneous ways of his fathers and this will come with large adjustments to his self image and outlook on his ministry. It’s best to stick with what God annoints and gifts you for and not assume all the rest will be blessed under that gift, and take appropriate steps to stay low when God is judging His body for hypocrisy and sin in this corner.
Take it from someone who’s constantly turned down promotion, position and ministry scale when the validity of the prophetic was seen by leaders. It is better to be a servant than a ruler and we must not delude ourselves on which we are trying to be.

Well in that Word we have Acts 2: 16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.
18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.
19 I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.
21 And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’
      Joel 2:28 “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.
29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.
30 “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke.
31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.
32 And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance,
As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls."
So when should we expect this outpouring of the Holy Spirit? "Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord." Do you know when the "Day of the LORD" is?
If you don't then how will you be able to tell genuine outpouring and genuine dreams and visions from false ones? There is a balance. With so many various interpretations of Eschatology, dreams and visions that are confirmed clarify which view is true and which ones are false since there is ONLY 1 way the LORD will unfold the future.
Once Christians see which Eschatological view is correct and how to understand Scripture then that becomes a powerful evangelism tool we have to share the Gospel.
The reason this area is so problematic is that far too many Christians have adopted falsehoods regarding Eschatology and other doctrines. They read Scripture and can't make heads or tails of it. Many have no clue which views are even correct, or whether we should be looking for this outpouring or not. It's sad to watch.

If a person ever has the experience of getting or giving even just one genuine, accurate, biblically sound and effective prophetic word that cuts to the heart and is proven to be, or plays out to be, accurate - from that moment on you have a baseline by which you can measure whether or not someone else is really speaking a word from God.
Meaning...if you have experienced the real thing, there is a quality difference between that and a lot of what folks try to pass off. Or when someone is mixing his own stuff with what might be coming from God.

In the realm of the prophetic, accuracy is a double-edged sword. Just because a prophecy is accurate doesn't mean it's from the Holy Spirit. Discernment is critical because accuracy doesn't equal Truth. Like counterfeit bills, accurate prophecies under influences other than the Holy Spirit can mimic truth but lack the Spirit of Truth; this is the alluring trap of accuracy.
In other words, accuracy does not always originate from the Spirit of Truth.

  • @maryannwrayTruthbeTold
    @maryannwrayTruthbeTold 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

Please forgive me if I sound critical, I really don’t mean to be, but I am frankly weary and a bit tired of so much of what I hear labeled prophetic. I’ve / we’ve been part of the charismatic and prophetic movement for 48 years and I believe there is so much miss use of the gift of prophecy and some of these so-called prophecies are another example of man speaking out of his own mind, will and soul, for the most part. This also begs the question as to why do people who call themselves prophetic or prophets, find it necessary to give scores and scores of prophecy when the Bible is quite clear that any spiritual gift is as the Holy Spirit, wills, not as man wills. I don’t see examples in scripture where profits or prophetic people are iterating, prophecies one after another after another, after another. It appears that the prophecies seen in scripture for the most part were succinct, to the point, and for individuals to either console or confront, and also predict times of famine to prepare God’s people and or the body of Christ for the days ahead. I understand that we can’t necessarily limit the bounds of prophecy and its purpose but I believe we have clear guidelines and examples and scripture that show us what it is not to be.
Furthermore, how is it really edifying, exhorting, and comforting the church as much as it is prognosticating
who’s going to be in political office and who is not? I believe as Christians we should vote and vote according to our conscience, but at the end of the day, our spiritual well-being, peace, joy, and propagating the gospel of Jesus Christ has little to nothing to do with who is in office and the state of government, politics and world events. Jesus himself in Matthew 24 and of course the book of revelations pretty much tell us the direction the world is headed in. And it’s not good. We Christians must be prayerful, watchful and vigilant if we are to endure these difficult days and the difficult days ahead.
The early church Exploded under the most oppressive government that could’ve been around during Jesus’ time. I believe we have totally misconstrued the whole essence of prophecy and as a result, many people have become derailed, including the movement itself. With all due respect. Thank you, fellows in Christ for having the wisdom and
Courage to begin testing these prophecies. Perhaps by doing so it will bring the prophetic and all the wonderful gifts of the Holy Spirit into alignment with the Holy Spirit’s real intention for His holy and wonderful expressions and charisma for and of the body of Christ.
I actually wrote a book some years ago, called partnering with prophecy on Amazon and took it down. I realized I was talking to and writing for the approval of those in the current prophetic movement rather than pointing out some of the obvious misuses. I repented and
I was greatly grieved over it. I’m not sure if the Lord will have me attempt to write on the subject of the prophetic again. But if he does, I believe I may have a greater understanding of its uses, miss uses and pitfalls. God bless you all.

I did notice something, though. You were saying Chris Reed prophesied Nikki Haley would be Trump's running mate. He did not. He said for a couple of years he's prophesied a woman of color would be Trump's running mate. He then said his personal opinion was it would be Nikki Hailey. He was quite careful to differentiate the two. Still, quite a testable prophesy. The only real prophesy of the group. Very sad.

Question: When Ephesians 4:29 says " Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." and Eph 5:4 says "neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks." Does that include banter like this or is that being too literal? What's the meaning? Is it only if the other person is not in on the joke? Or is it simply out of line to joke at someone else's expense?

NO one knows his thoughts and reasonings and why he chooses to link one thing with another or if he is decieved by his own biases, Or if he speaks the truth, but is immature?
We need to remember that there were two prophets.. One said the king would not see Babylon, whilst the other said he will be made 💀 in Babylon.. A little time went by and BOTH were proved right.
