Amen Roundtree about encouraging mature expression and mature stewarding in every church. my thought is, in a effort to discourage despising prophesy (because of abuse via overuse OR underuse), it would be massively helpful to all to hear a mature expression example *in addition to* the horrible examples(that are also very obviously necessary for all to hear)! Much like examples of poor expressions will help discourage poor expressions of prophecy, I think good examples of mature expression will encourage earnest desiring of mature expression of prophecy.
amen about the charismatic movement needing to seriously put a hold on national and nationalistic words! They need a time out until reform takes place! it’s ridiculous and not prophecy!!
Why would someone prophesy if not sent by God? “Thus says the Lord of hosts: "Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you, filling you with vain hopes. They speak visions of their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord.” Jeremiah 23:16 ESV
I love the segment about Jonah. I feel like CA is my Ninevah. I've tried to leave this state twice. Long story short the Lord closed those doors now I planted a church here lol.
Numbers 23:19 is a very relevant verse to this discussion. I think anthropomorphic statements are spread throughout the Word because the fallible are relaying the Words of the Infallible (Moses pleading with God to not destroy the Israelites because of them worshipping the golden calf. It seems God changed His mind. He did not.) I think making sure we hold to the meat and potato of the text is crucial, which is why context is important (all things you guys already know) so we can properly apply the text to our lives today. This is stuff that we as His children, only knowing in part, try to figure out but will be revealed in completion when the Complete returns. God knows all and when all will be. We do not dictate His actions, His sovereignty encapsulates our actions and choices in everyday life, which He knows before hand! Good chat fellas!
The Esther verse sounds like open theology "God will make this thing happen but how he willl do it is open if you don't cooperate he will do it a different way".
That is who came to mind for me as well. He himself has said that he believes prophecies should be tested. Seems like he has gotten at least some prophesies correct. For example, predicted a hurricane to strike Ft Lauderdale, Florida. Also predicted a tragedy would occur in Nancy Pelosi family. Many of his words are testable, such as saying Biden will not finish his term in office due to health and that Putin will be out at around that same time. At some point it'd be nice to see him back as a guest, especially if the Biden/Putin thing happens.
Have you ever done a show on these prophetic alliance groups? I’m thinking of Bill Hamons Christian International Network of Apostles where you essentially pay to be an apostle and to be part of the network and be under his “covering”. Curious your thoughts on this.
@@Henriette-van-der-Ende there are multiple thems on this here on this channel ,just type in TH-cam for example : Remnent radio as first phrase, then type : Hired from NAR church , answering NAR , answering culture of honor ( even it addressed to Bethel ,they have concern about NAR) , Charismatic abuses , Charismatic teachings that goes too far , prophetic words about 2022 ,2023 years etc. That's what I remember , but don't forget for a first phrase " Remnent radio " for a right redirection .. When you start off excluding a possibility, and then come across evidence clearly suggesting it, yes it can be confusing. An open view negates a great many of the problems that you don't have answers for regarding this topic.
Makes me think that a word of wisdom is getting confused with a prophetic word. I could see someone receiving a "word of wisdom" confusing that with "conditional" prophecy. In the the sense that wisdom says do this and this will happen and if you don't do this then that will happen.
I think anyone watching this would do well to watch the Andy Stanley video, acknowledge how many major churches are putting up with and actually encouraging sin, and then read Jesus' letters to the churches in Revelation. It's not unlikely for the candlestick to be in jeopardy.
For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. -2 Peter 1:21
I believe the prophesy about the Lord’s return after the gospel is preached to the ends of the earth- will be fullfilled during the tribulation period when the angels will be declaring the gospel to the ends of the earth for all to hear.
The "end" Jesus spoke of in Matt. 24:14 is _not_ the same "end" that He mentions in verse 3. A lot of ppl tend to read that belief into the text, but He is discussing the beginning of a new commission, namely the one that is mentioned in Rev. 10:11.
Honestly...If the 2020 prophets are a judgement from God (lying spirit from God) and not just proohecying their own thoughts. My question is: how then do you view them being brothers in faith or not? Now that's scary! Claiming to Jesus as saviour and yet being used by God as judgement. I don't know what to believe..

American Christian radio host Harold Camping stated that the rapture and Judgment Day would take place on May 21, 2011,[1][2] and that the end of the world would take place five months later on October 21, 2011. Well, I’m still here so I guess I got missed😂
I am glad Mario Murillo called out some of these false prophets. I know people who border on Trump worship. They hang on certain "prophets" every word. So sad.
The concept of an "anthropomorphism" makes little sense. If God is not actually having the experiences that are being dismissed by use of this term, then He is falsely representing Himself in the narrative of scripture. The idea that He would "anthropomorphize" the story in order to condescend to us as humans would insinuate that He is using this technique to deceive us as to His actual nature. Why do that? Maybe we should just take these statements at face value?
2:40 You know who also has hair in that picture? Micael Rowntree. That picture proves that he was once upon a time a man of God. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first.
I don't pray that He will hasten His return. When we have an eternity in glory this time on Earth is but a nanosecond. Bit every single day He tarries the plagues of Revelation don't happen and there are still millions of new believers coming into the Kingdom. That dreadful day when it comes means billions of people will die, most of them to enter conscious eternal torment.

GREAT episode. I agree 💯 I love your conversations. Can’t wait to see you in ONE MONTH!
I listen to everyone on TH-cam at 1.5x speed. Y’all are the only people I listen to at 1.25x. Take it as a compliment.
Great episode! So glad that Basement Boy knows how to say “hasten.” 😊
Waiting for a video where we get to see prophecies from you guys and you also critique them.

I think Rowntree gave us a clue about his book when he mentioned Matthew 24 🤫
Great episode 👏

I would love for you to interview Johnny Enlow on this topic!
What about Chris Reed's prophecies? What has his batting average been on national prophecies?

I have prophecy questions. Do you guys ever do Q&A ?
Prophecy is really going into messy territory now in days.
When you start off excluding a possibility, and then come across evidence clearly suggesting it, yes it can be confusing. An open view negates a great many of the problems that you don't have answers for regarding this topic.

56:03 You mean Saturday?
I would like to ask. On what basis does God grant repentance? Is it contingent on something or is it a mystery as to why He grants repentance?

I would not call them brothers. I would pray for them to repent and be saved though.

Conditional prophecy exists as a “fail safe” for false prophets.

If the prophecy happens, it's a regular prophecy. If it doesn't happen. it's a conditional prophecy.
If ONE prophesy is false, that person is a false prophet.
Harsh on Jonah and Isaiah
