I don’t think a single line in wrestling has ever hit me as hard as “how did it feel when your brother died?”
Dude my heart dropped when I heard that.
Brutality brilliant !!
The exploiting line hit me even harder
Yeah and u could almost see it in his face when he answered that he himself felt that.
That line sunk my heart and gave me goosebumps at the same time. I don't think anything in wrestling has ever done that to me
The fact that it was in the fun house but muted colors and just how empty is it now that Bray is gone 😢
And its darkness
Ah man...my heart. 😢
I didn't even realize that (I watched the segment on my phone after the fact). I gotta go back and watch it again.
Thought the Uncle Howdy video was the best Bray-related stuff since the first Funhouse vignettes. Bo was excellent in it.
Yes he really showed his emotion, it actually made me tear up, talking about bray passing.
@@bodycountplays2915😭😭😭😭😭😭 WYATT FAM FOREVER
I mean… firefly funhouse match
If you look actually closer to the background, you can see that they’re doing this interview inside of the firefly funhouse.
I thought I noticed that too but then figured it was just a similar set up
For the "Why are Gacy and Lumis in this group?", the thing tying all of them together is they were all left behind by their old families (Schism, Sanity, etc) and so they're coming together through that shared experience of feeling forgotten
The last thing Bo says in this tape is "They tried to forget about all of us, we made them remember"
That's their goal, to make everyone remember who they are and what they're capable of
Great point about them all being left behind by their "families". I am not totally sure if WWE is going to go that direction, but they definitely should!
Exactly this!
Plus, there were reports of the Wyatt Sicks group when Bray came back. So, maybe they were working up to debuting the group, and then Bray passes, and the group was forgotten. That would be their motivation as to how “they were forgotten.”
Enjoying the interview idea. I also think there is quite a clear through line with all of them. Nikki Cross worked on Nikki ASH this character she pitched, she was passionate about, then she was dropped and forgotten about. Dexter Lumis returned, his old faction mates and "Wife" all came up to the main roster, then they pushed ahead with DIY and he was forgotten about by his "family". Erik Rowan lost his family and was released, forgotten and Gacy was never called up, left on NXT to be forgotten, could arguably bring in the fact it was cas people just saw him as a "worse" Bray Wyatt. They are the broken and forgotten toys, who Bray had a plan for, who was going to bring them together, and after his death, Howdy/Bo has twisted that redemption into his own weapon to handle his pain of his brother's death
I think redemption for the "forgotten toys" is the angle. Nikki was forgotten twice, first by not being called up with Sanity, then with the whole A.S.H. character, Dexter was released after the Way fell apart due to Gargano leaving (don't forget, Gargano didn't get fired, his contract expired, so they can play up some animosity there) and Gacy was left to pick up the pieces after GYV/Dyad left NXT and Ava moved on to become NXT GM. Eric was obviously drifting after the Wyatt family, but he obviously can also be in the group for Bray's legacy, just like Bo.
I don't think Uncle Howdy should be interviewing them all, I think they should be interviewed by their new persona. So Sister Abigail is getting into Nikki's head with the interview etc.
That’s a pretty cool idea, believe Nikki is Abby the witch though. I would assume Alexa will become Sister Abigail
I like that approach a lot. Isnt Nikki suppose to be abby the witch and not sister abigail though?
I think you are really onto something here. It would really develop their characters fully, and pull everything into "continuity" which I think Bray would have appreciated, given all his hard work to always try and make everything "make sense" which, not that long ago, was a Sisyphean feat to say the least!
At least on smackdown too
I'd hate to not see them do some action in the ring within the next few weeks and all we see are interviews. It would cool them off imo, we need some carnage in between.
@@ChristopherGore1 Nah, Alexa will be Lilly.
For the last time: is not Sister Abigail, she is Abby The Witch. All of Wyatt Sicks characters are based on Firefly Fun House puppets.
I personally believe that this promo is gold. Bo Dallas is playing himself, he was so passionate that you rely on him. I' was genuinely into the promo. I love it.
Its so annoying lmao
I would argue they are not even the puppets, they just took inspiration from them but they are themselves.
Is Abby not short for Abigail? I had thought they were the same but just with a Funhouse shade
Abby was Abigail’s spirit trapped in the funhouse. Abby asked bray multiple times in the funhouse to set her free and Bray goes like “no silly! I’ll never let you rest!”
The Miz wasn't bad on color commentary. He could have a future there.
No
The sheer level of Miz hate on this channel is baffling.
I was not a fan of him on commentary, but I think he could develop as one, has the passion, the voice, the mind for the business
Well, he's a good talker, so not surprising.
this is bo without vince ruining him
Ain't that the truth
His bo-live caracther was incredible but ofc Vince killed it immediately when he got called up to the main roster
Too Bad we never got Bray without Vince ruining him
This is a rotunda with creative freedom lol
@@MysticBluPanda💯
They should have Rowan bring up the fact that he's lost two brothers in Bray and Brodie Lee/Luke Harper.
I never noticed how much Bray and Bo looked alike until this video.
Furthermore, I thought he sounded like Bray a time or two. Not sure if its intentional or just Bo growing older and similar genetic traits emerging.
@@xeroxedsoul2x yeah, especially at the end when he says "we made them all remember"
I think everyone should be interviews by their own characters. This gives us a glimpse I to the mindset of the person while also giving the new characters a moment to shine.
Dexter being interviewed by Mercy and Dexter not talking. Instead flashes and camera cuts of emotions almost like hos character can see what's going on in his head and translating it to the audience
Michael Cole made me feel extremely old having to explain the VHS
Then Uncle Howdy asking Bo how he felt when Windham died.
All the feels 😭
Did you notice Uncle howdy only has one of the fiends gloves on. I bet it's the hurt one.
It says Bray
No way?!? That's so sad. Will rewatch later, wow
BRAY
Id does. It's where the Fiend used the Hurt one, now it says Bray. That's deep design in a simple manner.
@@donovanvazquez2992The deep message of Bo wearing the Bray glove on the same hand that Bray wore the Hurt glove because it’s Brays death that hurt him the most!
Bo Dallas had a great gimmick and was/is one of the companies best talkers. He’d come out, spit hot poison, mixed with truth, and say joining him would fix that (kinda reused for eco friendly Daniel Bryan), but for that type of gimmick to work, he needed wins.
Kind of the same reason Karrion Kross is struggling on the main roster.
It was a fantastic segment of how bo had a heartfelt work/shoot talking about his brother.
Also, this "interview" took place in the Firefly Funhouse, which adds to the drama of it all
Remember what Uncle Howdy’s first ever promo was. It was a bait to breakdown Bray mentally and revive his darkness through the return of The Fiend! Howdy basically is the handler or there I say the negative conscience of those he interacts with.
What he does to Bo is exactly what he did to Bray and he’ll do the same thing by awakening the darkness of other frustrated souls (members of the Wyatt Sicks).
Basically Howdy is that immortal spirit that keeps on living on through vessels in existence. Bray’s vessel is no more so Howdy will now use Bo.
"What was I supposed to do, let him become a mausoleum?"
This hits like a truck.
That interview was something else. I've been a die-hard fan of Bray through his highs and his lows since he first showed up in the main roster and seeing this not only showed how much care Bo is putting onto Bray's work, it also shows his heart and love for his lost brother. I really hope to see this faction flourish but more importantly, I wish Bo the best with this!
Perhaps the silver lining to Bray's passing is the release of some kind of unique, creative brilliance from his brother. Not trying to romanticize Bray's death, but tragedy does sometimes trigger that kind of expression from people.
Haters silenced !! Bo has got this.
Uncle Howdy wasn't interviewing Bo. Bo was talking to himself. It was an introspective conversation within himself.
Easter egg, Alexa Bliss’ picture was on the side of the trailer when Chad Gable walked in Raw last night.
That's not an Easter egg. She's been on the side of one of the trailers
She also commented on ig about it
Yeah but the fact that gable walked past it can’t just be a coincidence that was purposely done
@@Planetpaperboy agreed
@@Planetpaperboyyou don't remember the Cena Austin on the truck and that was planned
I think Bo really showed us the depth he can bring to a performance. This was an outstanding follow up - very excited to see what happens next
Ollie....the scene with Paltrow's head in a box....it wasn't Fight Club....it was Seven😂😂😂....and I have ALWAYS felt that Bo Dallas never got the credit he deserved....to pull off the Bo-Lieve Bo Dallas gimmick like he did.....Salute to Bo Dallas....R.I.P. Bray Wyatt
Yeah they were making a call back to an old joke. They know it's Seven.
This was one of the greatest promos ive ever watched live. Bo Dallas really did his thing 🔥🔥
This is the kind of segment or interview that should go down as legend. Absolutely astounding and i didnt see it coming
As a 90s kid millennial, this whole Wyatt Sick6 segment with the VHS tape was awesome because it brought back memories when I was a kid in the 90s growing up when it comes to me skateboarding to my local Blockbuster to rent a horror movie based off the vhs cover. Movie trailers did exist in the 80,90s but you had to be watching television to be lucky to come across an upcoming movie trailer during the night. I also remember when my grandfather would buy me blank VHS tapes so I could record my favorite TV shows from the VCR by clicking on the record button. Overall, Im loving the whole 80s, 90s concept so far.
📼 🔥🤘🏻💀🤘🏻🔥
If you’ll notice at the end in the shot with both of them, they are sitting in the firefly funhouse
Pat's Father in Law passed away as his show was going off the air. That is why he was not on Raw.
I have been a wrestling fan since 1988 and that vignette with Bo and Uncle Howdy is the most intense thing I have ever seen/felt. Watching back a 2nd time for this brought tears to my eyes again. "Blurring the line" doesn't do it justice. Pure Art
I kinda hope they do one of these for each of the members. 1 by 1 showing them interacting with their sicks selves. Easy way to delay the first in ring appearances
And Dexter does what exactly?
@@stingersplash my initial thoughts for him is to have him starring intensely at mercy, perfectly mirroring himself, he has such a way with body language I think he could make that captivating for a quick promo maybe ending with reaching out to touch hands with him saying only one word
I really hope this pushes Bo to superstardom. He’s criminally underrated.
Speaking of Bliss, I noticed that when Gable first showed up in the episode he was walking by a trailer and the camera, to me, seemed to have worked to put some focus and point toward the face of Bliss there. It was also a picture of her when she was with Bray Wyatt so it made me feel it was a subtile hint of her coming in soon to join the Wyatt Sicks.
Must be inspired by 3 faces of Foley interview. Just darker
I’m sure it’s been pointed out already, but in that final shot with Bo and Howdy, look closely, they are in the firefly funhouse
"We all moved on"? No, the firefly's still mourn, this was real. I have never felt such a pit in my stomach since Windhams's passing until listening to Taylor last night. That was real. Bray was the dude I could identify with as a Man, and when we lost him, it was real for all of us.
On Uncle Howdy glove there is "bray" on it 😃
I died a little inside when Cole said “vhs machine” instead of vcr 😅
One of the most chilling lines (besides that one question that hurts) was. "WE MADE THEM REMEMBER!" "YES WE DID!" 🥶
If everyone remembers, brays last run he kind of came out and said “this is me” basically making Windham a character in the story. Bo is making himself a character. Its perfect. Perfect reflection to what Bray was possibly leading to.
Rowan’s interview will be extremely powerful, because he won’t just talk about the loss of Bray, but the loss of Luke Harper/Brodie Lee as well. I could see it being last, because he is the last surviving member of the original Wyatt Family.
He want to hurt everyone that betray their family. That bo Dallas feel. He hurt about lose his brother, bray wyatt
When are y'all doing bumps in a ring to celebrate 850k subs?! Am I remembering that right?
"what am i supposed to do, let him become a mausoleum?", that's their goal, it's not about the targets, it's not about the championships, it's about making sure Bray is never forgotten
I stood next to Oli on the tube this morning. I wanted to say Hi, but he looked like didn’t want to be disturbed. Been a big fan of Wrestletalk for many many years. Hope you have fun at Glasto!
To clear everything up, Pat wasn’t attacked, apparently he had a family emergency and unfortunately his father in law passed away. So that’s why he wasn’t at Raw.
Bo Dallas is still listed under WWE alumni as of 10:35A.M. CST 6/25/24
Mannn that was soo good Taylor Rotunda was amazing the whole time🎉
In the last minute or so, Bo slowly starts turning blue like Howdy, subtle but really nice touch
I get the banter is for content and to fill the dead air, but shut up and watch this masterpiece!
Yeah it was masterfully done. But he kept talking over it, would've been better if he just watched and gave his thoughts after so we can really see a reaction then he can watch it a second time then comment frame by frame.
Was driving me insane
Lol it is a reaction video 😂
@@Deletethisplz Probably the strangest thing ive seen in awhile. Complaining that someone reacting is........reacting? Have you honestly never reacted to something in the middle of it? You just sat and watched an entire movie dead pan as hell on your couch?
I remember seeing this live and i was almost came to tears
My favorite thing about the Wyattverse....is that it makes wrestling so interesting and exciting. The sheer amount of fantasy booking fans and wrestletalkers are putting out there shows all the possibilities.
what I missed first time around was that the uncle Howdy and Bo interview it was done sat inside the firefly funhouse.
Beautifully done by Bo Dallas. This was great and I can't wait to see what happened next!
this was a look into Bo's mind, the flip from hurtful pain to vengeful anguish is perfect
There was a time where Bo began to show his more vicious side, back when he was carrying around his 'Bo-Lieve in Bo' sign.
I think he has what it takes to carry to unbelievable heights. I loved and still love all of Bray Wyatt's stuff. Even the spooky bollocks. I'm really so very excited to see where the Wyatt Sicks go!
I saw a comment on one of the videos posted that said Bo and Uncle Howdy is giving me Osborne and Green Goblin vibes. Legit just seeing Bo’s grief almost being twisted into a seperate personality… just… god I’m so excited for what’s to come next. I hope it’s along Oli’s theory.
Was that the firefly fun house theyre in for the interview.
My jaw hit the ground so hard when I heard Howdy ask about Bray… I never expected such a raw segment from a wrestling show…
Getting rid of tempest was a brave choice, I do prefer the positive tasks though. Much more interesting
Hmm?
The movie was 7 with the head in the box
They know
Thats the joke
Seven. Christ.
Maybe the single most compelling segment of wrestling television I've ever seen.
Oli spoke over both of Howdy's most important lines, damn
Gacy and Lumis were basically left behind by their family/groups...gacy had skism evaporate before him and lumis was the 5 wheel in the way. The reasons were all ready told to us. They were left behind by losing others
I see they read the comments from last week and decided not to bring back Tempest for this one. Smart
Reviewing while you watch it for the first time is odd cause it feels like you miss stuff
I agree
I feel very validated today. Gable was the only focused person because be was the only talent taken out. Bunch of extras were the rest. Braun isn't even bald anymore yet people thought a bearded guy was him lol.
They talked about the characters interviewing the wrestler, I’m imagining how hilarious Dexter Lumis’s interview, just him staring
That promo got very real, very fast. Cinema!
The firefly fun house was in the background
They were all in factions that were taken away from them by WWE. They all need that family dynamic. Hearing Dexter talk about The Way will be the thing that could send this over the edge. Just hearing Dexter speak...
This was my favorite segment from last night not even close.
Chad Gable got Kenjaku-ed
Aha fellow jjk brethren 🫡
@@zennradio3028 we lobotomizing the kaisen with this one
Chad Gable: Would you lose?
Pat: Nah I'd Win
lmaooo well done 😂
Hold on Nikki: _You need to head to the Evri machine first. Should've got a QR code on your phone to scan-_
They also were in the firefly funhouse but darken out
I think you touched on it a bit with Alexa Bliss. A bit of foreshadowing, when chad Gable arrived, he walked past the trailer with the Fiend version of Alexa Bliss on it.
Wait nobody noticed the background? Nobody noticed that they were in the Firefly fun house? Did anybody see the door in the background ?
To continue with Oli's point, it should be filmed a kin to Natural Born Killers
This was quite possibly a top ten wrestling promo of all time imo, I hope they bring back the cinematic funhouse matches for Bo to do, it would be interesting to see character study matches with Triple H, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Finn Balor
I BOlieved it was freakin awesome!
Pat shared today on his Show he missed last night’s Raw because his Father in Law unexpectedly passed away.
I really loved this promo from Bo Dallas it was perfect way to explain to the people that don't know what's going on they're telling a really good story right now
That promo was pure cinema 🤌
Good morning from New York all. That last night had me choked up.
This was absolutely brilliant. I think it would be cool to have more of these with the other members but instead of Uncle Howdy have each of them being confronted by their own character. Or having Uncle Howdy there with like a good cop bad cop dynamic. I imagine Erik sitting there face to face with Rambling Rabbit, Rabbit not even talking they’re just staring at each other. Uncle Howdy circling them, questioning Erik, maybe with the camera circling them. They could do some really cool camera work to heighten the feeing of confusion and manipulation.
Best character in WWE right now, Michael Myers deep. Love this bro, deep, deep work of art
Gacy and Lumis were both abandoned by their factions(Gacy by Schism and Lumis by The Way) and that's Bo's way into their heads. He can promise them that he will never abandon them
I loved the whole angle this week, but I still think it's odd and a bit of a letdown that they didn't address that the entire production crew was assaulted last week. I thought it would have been cool for this week's episode to show the results of that. Maybe a stripped down show, like they're running with fewer crew than normal, leaving us to assume that people are either out injured or have quit due to unsafe work environment. Could have been a fun angle. The fact that the production just carried on as if no one was hurt in the initial incident just felt weird.
Unfortunately McAfee's absence was due to the unexpected passing of his father in law. It was completely separate from the storyline (hence why the box was addressed to mcafee, something that was planned but could not he changed due to the suddenness of events)
Uncle Howdy talking to Bo Dallas reminded me so much of Smeagol talking to Gollum in The Two Towers. There's a push and pull with Smeagol/Bo being in the more delicate mental state and Uncle Howdy/Gollum taking advantage of them and taking control.
I loved it!!
I wasn’t sure how I felt about the tape but hearing you explain I now know I loved it.
Both sat in the Funhouse
It was perfectly done ,I actually thought this was better than there entire first segment ,it looks really well done and thought out so far, gotta remember the Wyatt 6 was actually an idea Bray had originally, when Bliss joins is really gonna be something cool she will almost share the spotlight with uncle howdy, it could be really special I hope they don't hold back.
Enjoyed this segment very much and your guys' take on it was pretty spot on. I do have to say though... the thumbnail to this video is outstanding lol
Absolutely Fantastic!!
Always loved bo
That ending shot of bo and uncle howdy siting together looks like it was in the firefly funhouse 😮
14:00 I don’t know that the motivation is 100% about Bray, per se. It’s about being underestimated and forgotten, even by your “family”.
A lot of people assumed that when Bray died, there was no creative plans for Bo in the company, with people (rightly perhaps) suggesting that they only reason he was brought back was at Bray’s insistence, and that WWE wouldn’t do anything with him after that.
Taylor (and I think we saw Taylor there, not Bo - it’s very much the same “presentation” we saw of Taylor in the Becoming Immortal doc) is motivated by Bray’s passing, because that is what made everyone “forget” about him (within the company. He lost his literal family, and his place within the new “Wyatt” family, and at the time he needed people most, he was sidelined. And the rest got the characters all have similar stories, independent of Bray.
So I think the bigger through line is going to be about losing family, being forgotten, and making people remember them.
Nikki was this certain type of character in Sanity, who had a “family”, but when it broke down, she got relegated to a joke comedy character, and then spent a lot of time looking for family (Alexa, Candice LeRae, etc) and ultimately being forgotten when she can’t find a place.
Eric Rowan, had his place in a family, but ends up the perennial third place guy. His Wyatt stable mates go on to become main event players (Bray and Braun both have main title runs) his “bludgeon brother” leaves him for another company, and becomes a main eventer too. Bray dies and brings him in for the tribute, puts him front and centre at the memorial show, but has no plans to bring him back as an actual wrestler.
Joe Gacy has his “family” in NXT, but was never seen as anything more than dollar store Bray Wyatt. His family breaks up, and Everyone expected him to make the jump to main roster, but they don’t have any plans for him, and he lingers and is forgotten.
Dexter had his “family” in “The Way” he started a family with his “wife” Indi. But they all move on without him, and he is forgotten. He disappears and none of them even mention him any more.
And bigger picture, it also becomes about WWE’s inability to book “spooky” characters long term, abandoning and forgetting them, or relegating them to joke roles.
The rest (except for Rowan) don’t even need to talk about Bray or what his loss meant to them. They can talk about feeling lost, forgotten, broken, abandoned, without it needing to be specifically related to Bray.
