@ShadowDestiny you need solar warlock with heat rise plus wellskate on the Mars pvp map, doesn't work on hunter shatter skate. It can't maintain the height.
Myth:
Sometimes if you attack a Knight with the void shildexplosion while a akolyte attacks you with the meele you get yeeted or you attack to an single taken yellow bar centurio with full health and shild in while you attacking him in airbone you no make damage sometimes and feels like there is a invisible wall and you get also yeeted. Extremly rare i tested this myself in this s22 encouter with this 2 witches. But as i said is really really rare and you have to be lucky.
Fun detail on the thing about eris morn's original class, her chest plate is a modified lucky Raspberry.... Wish we had an ornament like that

Not sure if robots in the tower have genders exactly, but the postmaster is named KADI 55-30. On Destinypedia they're shown to be "female-programmed."
The Striga thing is just whenever you run out of ammo, not a unique interaction with Witherhoard.
Kadi’s voice lines are clearly female too but can’t blame someone for not paying attention to the same mailbox vendor since D1
Yh you’re going from special to primary so no ammo carries over hence why it has zero ammo and has to reload

Conditional is literally the most chad weapon this game has ever seen. It counters every cheese method in this game which is why I like it.
If you have conditional and it’s not your favorite weapon then you’re crazy
Anytime you inspect a ship (no matter yours, collections, friends, enemies) and you right click it will always leave the trail that ship has. It wasn't specific to viewing transmit effects.
With the jump boost buffs in the tower, you can get out of the map and look out at the city, just go to the bazaar, in the dark corner near where Eva used to be, just jump up repeatedly and you can get on the roofs
if you go to the area that connects down to drifter and ada, rather than going down there and you jump up on the overhangs near the ramen shop you can get completely out of bounds and walk around.
I think that the previewing transmat effect myth might actually be due to the fact that Bungie added a preview feature for ships so that you can see their exhaust (just like with the Sparrows) which is triggered by the same button as the preview button for most items.
Idc that Joe Blackburn said strand wasn’t intend for WQ. It’s not like Bungie has never lied or deceived us in any way before.
He's careful with his words because it wasn't called Strand when it was being developed for WQ. When it wouldn't make the ship date, they reworked it for Lightfall and changed the name.

I think the Witherhord/Osteo interaction is just due to switching the type of ammo, by switching weapons your Osteo has an empty mag.. and when Osteo's is empty it screams. So I'm pretty sure you can get this interaction by switching to Osteo from any special amo weapon

I refuse to believe strand wasn’t meant for witch queen, no matter what any Bungie dev says. Could you imagine the backlash if they admitted it was? It would be a disaster

Being able to shader exotics would be so cool, the fact that we can get that small preview makes me wonder if it's something that could ever be a thing
They love to make you pay with real money to make your exotics have the Gambit Chrome shader, tho.

Fact as I tested, The Rain of fire exotic pairs with the new warlock strand aspect and is considered a dodge and also is a grey way to have a constant radiant buff on a strand class
For the ! next to the guardian name. It will flash ! whenever they take damage but it will stay ! while they are at critical health. You can test this by having a guardian take cover while at critical health and youll notice that the ! doesn't go away as fast as usual until their recovery kicks in
The teammate and ship one isnt exactly correct because you cant preview a teammates transmat. It leaves a trail because you are only able to preview the ship and when doing so like a sparrow it will show a trail

I heard that the “Witherhoard turns enemies into taken” only applies to anti taken exotics (Malfeasance, Wish ender), It may be patched but then again there’s no reason to
It makes them blighted, allowing it to stack with being taken in the case of malfeasance.
It's intentional, bungie actually buffed the damage bonus Wish Ender deals to blighted enemies and specifically mentioned it as an interaction back in Seraph
To add to the emoting with a guardian who increased his rank, it stacks with the other buffs you can get in the tower

4:17 You can make the ship shows the trail just by holding down the preview button anywhere on the screen, doesn't have to be the transmat effect.

10:22 Back on D1, this was an intended mechanic not a bug, shooting through some walls and objects with the piercing round perk.
when trying to inspect a transmat that's not what makes the trail show up if you just hold the button that you use to inspect on ships and sparrow it will display the trail.
Not only can you celebrate someone's rank-up, you can then rank-up yourself and have both the companion buff *and* the ascendant buff at the same time. The bonus jump heights stack, but you cannot do them in the reverse order (you have to "celebrate" before getting your own rank-up buff).
This doesn't actually provide any additional benefit when compared to stacking with the Floor's Lava buff (any combo of two will grant the same jump height), but it's fun to have all three.
FACT: Joe Blackburn said it was never "DESIGNED" for Witch Queen, but that's usually because they don't really go too heavy to design supers around expansions. The truth is, whatever Lightfall is, it was supposed to be The Final Shape. What we ended up getting was a hurriedly written expansion to give bungie more time to develop The Final Shape. There's tons and tons and tons of evidence that point to Strand originally going to be called poison or something of the sort, the weapons of sorry were developed with this in mind, etc... one statement from Joe Blackburn doesn't erase all the leadup. All it shows is Joe is just saying that Bungie is going to defend its position on Strand being for Lightfall because without Strand, Lightfall would have literally been a nothing burger story(and it already kinda is). Strand was the only thing that added substance through the gameplay and it really took away from the story. It just sounds like there was a lot of mismanagement at Bungie handling the path forward and likely a lot of hard decisions Joe Blackburn had to make to make quotas and stuff hence why he has to defend the reasoning with corporatized speech
Totally agree. The deepsight platforms thrown all over the Throne World were clearly just designed as an alternative to grappling around
For anyone talking about zavala pre-ordering TFS, the tower model has been there for a while, even before Lightfall and maybe even Witch Queen

There are certain spots in the Tower where the ceiling is low enough that you can damage yourself by jumping into it when you stack both the Quickness buff and the Guardian Rising/Celebration Companion buff.
4:19 that has nothing to do with previewing transmat effects, pressing the preview button anywhere while modifying a sparrow or ship shows you the trail. it has for a few seasons now
Myth: Using finishers while enemies are airborne are faster than finishing on the ground, you have to get the enemy be "airborne" like any enemy jumping to a platform, or just sending them into the air by an ability like the Void Warlock Melee
In addition to the special effect you get from celebrating with someone in the tower: You can actually stack all 3 buffs for ridiculous move/jump speed in the tower. Rank up, emote at someone else who ranked up, and do the "floor is lava" minigame. It makes it very easy to boundary break inside the tower.
For the transmat effect preview one, you’re just previewing the ships flying animations. They added that feature a while back when they made it so you can rotate all gun and equipment models around. You can also preview sparrow boosts
Myth - If you try to freeze Akelous from Spire, the eyes you need to shoot become HUGE balls of frozen stasis.
Myth - If you use multiple Strand Warlock supers on Akelous at the same time, he will get YEETED across the map.
Myth: if you turn off music, go to orbit and crank up your volume the following exotics will make a sound:
Malfeacense, Outbreak, Bad Juju, Witherhoard, Ager's Scepter, Touch of Malice, Conditional Finality, Nechrochasm,
Lord of Wolves, Ruiness Effigy, Cloudstrike, Hierarchy of Needs, Centrifuse, Ex Diris,
Worldline Zero, One Thousand Voices, Anarchy, Deathbringer and Parasite

fun fact about the buff from leveling up. It stacks with the buff from completing the floor is lava. Meaning you can damage yourself in tight corridors but due to the games coding you cannot die in the tower outside of falling off the edge or hitting a kill zone, which exist in several spots in the tower ironically.

A long time ago, bungie released a secret mission (don't remember exactly which) and somehow messed up the launch so people'd just end up at that spot in the moon, some streamers roamed the area for like 7 hours and got REALLY mad when bungie said it was a bug lol, it seems to be a weird placeholder location the game puts you when it can't figure out the position you're trying to go
All three jump buff in the tower stack.
Step 1 emote next to an already leveled up guardian.
Step 2 get the jump buff above tower spawn.
Step 3 level up your guardian.
You can use the hunter silkstrike to grapple through the Lightblade strike swamp part.
I think the “Witherhoard making enemies Taken” comes from that Malfeasance does extra damage against Taken, and if your shoot an enemy that’s being affected by Witherhoard, it does that extra damage.
Or so I’ve been told. I haven’t personally tried it myself.
heres a new "myth", if u pick up an elemental orb and get suspended youre just stuck there for the suspension time
11:57 is incorrect, I have witnessed it. You need heat rises and well-skating and some well-placed sword swings, and you need to start from the higher platform slightly behind where you tried it.
Myth: if you suspended a combatant jump up and use finisher when it's still suspended it will go faster. Not too sure because I tries it twice and it felt faster

Something I really want to see you cover is that you can actually reacquire some of the previous seasonal artifacts. It is inconsistent, and I can't seem to find a way to get rid of them. I currently have both the plunder and deep artifacts along with the one from this season. If you need screenshots or footage I can help.

*Quick myth:* If you have quickness and the guardian rank-up speed boost, jumping into a low wall will damage you
Myth: The buff from ranking up/emoting with someone who ranked up stacks with the floor is lava buff, allowing you to jump crazy high.
Not sure if this is the right place for this, but recently I've been binge watching your on getting better in PvP. I was wondering if I could request for you to do a video (or series of videos) that explain tactics such as movement, sniper lanes and just the overall best strategies/loadouts for the various maps. For example, I normally use a sniper as my special, but on the titan map I almost always use a fusion. I think that's a good idea but I'm still not able to go solo flawless.

The chopper is halo 3 works the same way as the heavy pike. They are somewhat similar and a cool little consistency between bungies games.
The Radar on the Pallet shotgun only works Cuz of alacrity wich gives u Radar and other benefits if you are the last allay standing
Correction to the pvp vs PvE players. NO There are not almost as many.. Those stats are taking from People who are doing Crucible for their weekly nothing else. It was because they were "forced" to do crucible. The true number is roughly around 50.000 players at most.
you don’t have to do crucible anymore to get your weekly pinnacles. you can choose from any of the 3 rituals.
Imagine being this mad that people play PvP in a game with one of the most vapid and bare bones PvE experiences that you forgot they changed the weekly pinnacle grind to not require Crucible if you don't want it to, yet it still has those numbers.
The hatred hard-on for PvP never ceases to amaze.
15:28 - witherhoard does turn enemies into taken, as it makes malfeasance do more damage and also works with weapons of sorrow.
Afaik it doesn't work with weapons of sorrow, it only buffs Wish Ender and Malfeasance
@@Data-AnalystSeraYeah it adds a Blight debuff which is what makes anti taken weapons like Wishender and Malfeasance do extra damage to them. Funnily enough you can also blight Taken enemies to double the damage you deal with malfeasance
The frozen shrieker myth- if you freeze something that has a divinity bubble on it, the bubble with freeze over making it have that big ice ball effect
Astrocyte Blink will absolutely ATOMIZE any enemy riding a sparrow on Multiplex, just 1 taps the bloke
7:26 I think some people still haven't realized that the Aim Assist stat is not talking about controller's gyro assist. The connection in Destiny 2 is quite... interesting, AA in-game is about bullet stickiness as in a coned radius from your crosshair to that person's head, more AA = Bigger cone. This was the reason Arbalest / Lorentz was so busted a while ago, they had a massive AA cone.
On the topic of risk runner: it used to synergize with old lucky raspberry I heard. And I’m talking necrotic grips levels of synergy btw

Myth : the touch of malice can stun a champ unless you must have another scout Rifle on your energy slot in order to active it.
That gathering storm/strand tornado combo is low key terrifying lol
Outside that pvp map with the rocks outside the map was actually explorable by going over the hard barrier. But I believe the put a ceiling in because I could no longer get it to work.
One thing I found out recently: you cannot pick up a titan throwing hammer in PVE by driving over it with your sparrow

@@Aj-py8en the design on the warlock armour isn't just a coincidence, that's too similar for it to be. Y'all just keep believing what bungie will say, just like they said there isn't a new subclass in the works when we got a literal dev who leaked it with a NEW super icon and red ability colours...
Even ignoring the design on the armor, there are several voice lines from Zavala during witch queen that involve him disapproving of using the darkness. Given that his whole thing about stasis kinda wrapped up in beyond light, it wouldn't make sense for him to be disapproving of using darkness again unless we were using another darkness power. That and the fact that there is a plethora of areas that seem intended to be reached with grapple instead of deepsight, and some voice lines about "I wonder how we can get up there" which would imply an opportunity to use the grapple. I'm not 100% on board with the theory that strand was supposed to ship with witch queen, but it sure does seem like it at some points.
@@jakubbercik6965 I'm believing what Joe says because there's no reason for him to tell the same lie over 2½ years, and what he's saying just makes more sense.
Which is more likely:
The vapor wave themed subclass with a grappling hook was designed for a gothic swamp destination, but was cut to make a filler expansion. The supporting concept art was all replaced with new concept art with Neomuna too, and of course Joe lies about this on multiple occasions.
Or
The vapor wave themed subclass with a grappling hook was created for the expansion set in a neon city with skyscrapers, and the 3rd eye power that uncovered and revealed secrets was created for the expansion set in the hive god of secrets own mind. And when asked about development Joe and other devs just tell us what's happening since they have no reason to lie.

11:53 you actually can get out there if you shatterskate correctly. It’s easier if you strand skate until past the turn back, and grapple up to get some height
Unsure if you did this one: If you use the "Always on Time" Sparrow, in the first encounter of Ghosts of the Deep, the moths along the pathways don't trigger as you drive past them, due to the Unique Sparrow mod: Stealth Running
In some cases you can randomly throw 2 gunpowder gamlble in a row. Maybe there's ahamkara spine or grenade kickstart evolved, I don't know, but I do this from time to time.
At around 8:15: I think that when people say that, mostly referring to pvp endgame (trial and possible also comp). Everyone plays control for weapon farming and rewards tho. And not sure when you pulled the number but if it’s Iron Banner week - especially first one of the season - the numbers are very inflated population-wise

10:51 misunderstood some very basic terminology, the 3.31 cooldown of the barricade is its new cooldown AT BASE, and any tiers of resilience reduce the cooldown of that time. It doesn't mean your barricade is locked at that cooldown
Using a light wieght weapon when in super or tower still gives speed buff.
re: witherhoard turning into taken, this at least used to be true (not sure if it still is) but only works with malfeasance's extra damage against taken and invaders, if you have the witherhoard applied to an enemy, mal will deal the extra damage like it would to taken

11:54 You definitively can but only on a specific side of the map, the one that has like a transmission tower at the back and is also significantly closer that the one you tried.
They used to sell parts of ornament bundles for bright dust, and it'd even give you a discount on full bundle set for having one already, but I haven't seen that in ages.

Witherhoard does make affected enemies taken, but only for malfeasance. Malfeasance gets the extra damage it would from if the enemy was taken
I have one that i have no idea how the hell you'd test for, but i do have it fully recorded to confirm authenticity.
Fallen dreg grenades can deflect throwing knives midair, which will then launch them sideways. It fully planted itself in the wall beside me, so presumaby it fully altered the trajectory of the knife
If you shoot the Silence and Squall (Stasis Hunter's super) with bow while the kamas are in the mid-air, it just blast in the mid-air
4:13 You can apply this effect to any ship, you just need to press the right mouse button when inoculating a ship.
Warlock is the fastest class on foot. Due to the way Warlock's jump is, you can do a certain jump timing and move way faster than the other classes on flat ground. Jump once then right before you hit the ground, spam the jump button 4 times, repeat. So, Jump - pause - jump x4 - jump - pause - jump x4. Over 2k hours and I've never seen anyone else it this way.
Have you heard of this one?
If you start the floor is lava in the tower and wait for too long without finishing it, it'll outright kill you
In the current eververse shop if you preview the dance off emote enough times you can see it in the color for the new subclass
Myth: The celebration companion buff, the increase guardian rank buff and the floor is lava buff all stack
the memory code on the map is so sweet
Myth - If you get the rank up or shared rank up movement boost, AND THEN you complete the Floor is Lava challenge, your movement/jump becomes crazy pants.
