I have a “positive texting buddy.” We will, at random point during the day, text each other anything good that happened and celebrate each other’s happiness. It’s actually helped me way more than I thought it would when I came up with the idea. I encourage you to find one yourself

The privilege of this woman- that she’s blind to. Has a cabin to go to, a car, could call for help to be towed, and repair her vehicle. How about people suffering systemic oppression, generational poverty, or other more impactful problems.

@@tessconsoli9743 mindfulness is about solving the world view's problems. We live in a global village. We first have to go into our dark selves. Then venture out in the world to solve its problems. Thanks for reaching out.

Tess Consoli it’s about your outlook. You can only relate or truly understand what YOU have personally gone through. I’m sure anyone could have a bad attitude with an accident and over $4000 of damages while on a weekend getaway. She used it and looked at positives while using examples of every day situations that people may run into. Crazy how it’s a video about positivity and go comment something negative. Be kind or be quiet 💛💛

I’m “positive” that this idea will make a splash! 😂 Classes we need to add to our schools:
    ✨empathy-building
✨conflict resolution and cooperation team building / learning how to communicate, problem-solve, and cooperate with peers and adults)
✨judgement-free discussion of day-to-day concerns, struggles, and emotions
✨self-directed learning: a no-grades space and time carved out, assigned only to free choice of action, to build, play, or research whatever kinds of topics spark their interest. This class will help students to develop an awareness of how to learn without a teacher, and where to look for their passions and direction in life. It will help to build strength of will and self control, since students are allowed to exercise both, through self-directed learning. No grades will be assigned, to remove stress and outside expectations; so that passion, creativity, and curiosity will be allowed to lead the student to learn on their own. Because their ideas are worth sharing, too. Great ted talk! I may never get to have my own, so someone please feel free to take these ideas and run with it. 💜✨

Ever since I can recall I've looked forward to moving. It was a fresh start into the Great Unknown. Who knew what lay ahead? These were the thoughts swirling in my six-year-old mind while looking out from the huge rear window of our 1960s whale of a car where a makeshift bed had been made for me on the rear deck. What a beautiful scene to accompany my thoughts -- a vast desert lit up by a full moon on a clear night. The possibilities were as many as the dazzling stars overhead and my future was as big and blank as the expanse of desert before me. Anything and everything was possible.

I love choosing positive. I just wish she had paused a bit more, used it to convey an emphasis on subjects. Instead it was really easy to get lost as she flowed quickly from one thing to another. I applaud her for doing this though- takes a lot of bravery.

Ellyzabeth Winoto I was struggling with PCOS ever since I was 11. I had weight gain and was made fun of consistently throughout middle school and hs and I was fairly short. My period went on and on for months and left me physically tired in desperate need of iron. Now 10 years later, my body is healthier than the average individual. I am of perfect weight, had a growth spurt of over 5 inches, and my menstrual cycle is normal. Doctors congratulated me of my perfect blood pressure, perfect weight, perfect cholesterol, and perfect blood levels. Had I let these bullies and my health take over me, I would’ve never gotten where I am now. All that matters is your attitude and ambition. Negative things are a way of the universe/God/fate whatever you believe in to test your strength and happiness. I can assure you if the negatives are constantly punching you in the face and you manage to still put a smile and focus on the positives, there will be ease. ❤️

Negatives do happen every day. Sometimes if you really can’t find anything happy, it’s good to remember that you’re learning from these negative experiences and one day, you may be able to help someone else when they go through the same thing you’re going through right now.

It's about how you face those things.. that's what's important

    • @vaneph9347

I'm not sure if you still in the same situation but I experienced this as well. Every day, I encounter negativity. I am surrounded basically by negativity and even if there are positive things, the negatives outweigh them. And I've been in that situation for 5 years. I did try to focus on the positive things but it just doesn't outweigh all the negative things that keep on happening when I was still on my previous job. Then one day, I decided to leave that workplace. I changed jobs and even changed careers. I left and pursued my new found passion. And for the first time in years, all that negativity was gone. I still face negativity and problems, but this time the positive things finally outweigh the bad ones. And I look back and ask myself "why did I endure all that negativity in my previous career?" "Why did I hope that someday it will get better when clearly it wouldn't?" and then I realized, it's because I accepted it. I accepted that my life would always be stuck at that. But when I left, I realized I can always let go. That I am free to find a place for me. At first, I didn't know where that place is, I felt lost at the beginning but after realizing I can always leave and I'm not trapped anymore, I just leave all the time and continue my search. And now I'm here. I've finally found my place. I am now surrounded by the positivity that I need. I still face negativity and problems but this time these problems are not pointless anymore. These are problems that I know, in the long run, will bring growth to me as a person. And lastly, now, I love what I am doing. So whether it's your workplace, or your job, or your family, or your partner, that's making you feel all these negativity every single day of your life, I want you to know that you can leave. The search is tough, but staying and dealing with the same negativity all your life is a life sentence, to be honest. So go, leave, and find where you belong.

You will love this text on positivity in the bible: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
