X Corrupted is pratticaly dead. JKB uses his project only to farm views to his channel and live streams. It is not a passion job. I hope it releases some day because it looks really good, but I doubt it is going to happen
@@rubenos12 Yeah but the point is to emulate those limitations in a demake. If you over-animate a SNES demake it all just looks jarring, especially when you are reusing actual SNES sprites and animations

This is so insanelly cool. But it also shows how the double character mechanic is essential. Having to damage boost trough spikes to get to secret areas is anxiety inducing. BTW, great work on the bosses. Seeing their sprites and attacks in 2D is probably the most interesting part of this whole thing.

This is both a demake and remake. However, it's still missing things (it's a demo after all) like Rooster kicking the main control unit of the incinerator and the secrets that require Axl's copy shot. If it wants to be an accurate demake, which I guess it isn't at this point, it needs to include those Axl-specific parts. I don't mind changing the stage layout (good riddance to the battle rooms) but they all need a section or route that is accessible by specific characters (a section only Zero or X with the Foot Parts I can access or an Axl-only section). Otherwise, a very visually impressive game.
This popped up in my recommended and on a special day where the Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Final Trailer dropped and the PlayStation State of Play but honestly I’m more excited for this, I know it sounds crazy but I’m really loving how the X8 Demake Project is coming along, Burn Rooster and Dark Mantis seem harder than their original counterparts but the Stages look more fun to play through.

this game is just nothing short of gorgeous !!! the level design is a litteral upgrade to the original , new boss moves/patern, like every single thing someone could think you, you managed to pull it off and even better !!
I know it's a demo, but so far so good. I'd really wish X's sprite could be updated though and the warning message appeared kike the one in X4-X6, but keep going! The ones developing this game are going a very good way!!! Kudos!!! 👏

Damn the bosses are relentless much more stronger than their x8 og counterparts and tricky moveset too... Also we all know where they took inspiration from on the Dark Mantis stage giving dark mantis the hability to heal on each attack Malenia Style genius... makes it more of a pain in the ass

The sprite work is absolutely phenomenal and this is an amazing game thus far, but the stage design and boss difficulty definitely need further improvement. I feel like Dark Mantis's hitboxes are uh...yeah.

I'm really glad to see that this is a demake that isn't feeling beholden to the exact letter of the original and is willing to experiment with level design; but the second chamber of Rooster's stage was not exactly the best showing. It's big and open for no real reason, making the camera constantly have to scroll in all directions when it could easily be much more compact and honestly feel much better as a result. Spritework is absolutely on point though, you're totally right.
The bosses look absolutely insane. Better than any other megaman thing ever. I might just be spoiled by Corrupted's level design but I think there might be some room for improvement. Theres something about the variety of enemies and how they interact with the different types of materials in the levels that made Corrupted so special. This one is good, way better than PS2 thats for sure
Can't get spoiled by Corrupted. He's put 10+ years into that game so it's easy to see it has almost flawless level design and mechanics. That game will be in its own class as the best Megaman game of all time!
I know it's a huge thing to ask for, but if we could eventually get demakes of X5-7 as well with this style of graphics and, you know, *good gameplay,* then I'll be very pleased.

i think those Bulbrites/MAME-Q should be smaller, aside from that, i like that the stages and mavericks are different from the original, keep the good work.
Sadly the 16bit version of the music is a ways out yet, but when it comes, would slap really hard. One of the best ost in this games is burn rooster, bambo pandamonium and orbital elevator.
i like the 2.5D for Dark Mantis Stage since we can indicate the laser and fan, which is Perfect for Stealth Stage. Also i almost forgot than Dark Mantis is basically Mantisk from Megaman Zero except more black and more Ninja/Assassin than Executioner

Dale tiempo quizá quiere terminar los escenarios y jefes para ver cómo añadir de forma perfecta la moneda y mecánicas del mismo.
Además si te das cuenta X recibe daño residual lo que da a entender que añadirá obviamente el cambio de personaje.
