I wish that I could have gotten the pattern you have for my home state of West Virginia but I have a lightweight leafy suit that can go over it. I have been wanting to replace my hunting rainwear with something else. Is it quiet 🤫?
There are a few advantages to the waypoint. I would say they are slightly warmer than the Selkirk, they have built in knee pads which are really nice to have in certain situations which the Selkirk don’t, and they have a slightly different fit and are slightly more rugged and tough in my opinion. Overall your right they are very similar but there are some small differences that make them better for certain applications.
@@publiclandpursuits6658 I’ve had some customer service reps tell me the waypoint is Warmer and others telling me the Selkirk is definitely warmer and waypoint is way to go if using in spring because of the venting. Pretty confusing when trying to decide which is better.
Depending on how cold you go and if you layer good. Just the set with an undershirt is god down to like 40 degrees but if you layer with a good thermal shirt and something like pnumas insulator jacket I’m comfortable down to 0
@@publiclandpursuits6658 nice I’m in Oklahoma coldest would be 10 I have a couple kuiu pelotons so with a 280 and the jacket would that be good? I usually just wear kuiu rubicon with a 280 top till 45 and I’m good but past that I’m freezing

How cold are you typically hunting? I use either the Selkirk or waypoint over top of the insulator and a base layer and I’ve been down to around 10F and have been comfortable.
Oh wow man that’s pretty dang good. I normally hunt from a stand or a ground blind. So I’m not doing a lot of hiking, but it’s prob around the 20s or 30s when I’m hunting. Thanks for the response!!🤠

I’m from WV too and fell in love with Pnuma caza. Wore realtree for years and caza seems to confuse them better when you get spotted
