    I personally find that it will charge faster if you charge your phone on a cool surface such as on a tile or glass because it will reduce the heating during charging as heat through charging will reduce the effectiveness of the charging as mentioned by Apple to safeguard the battery.

    It’s worth it. Why? Because nothing out now comes even close to it. If you’re not in a rush to charge and you want to keep using your phone while charging. It works really well for that. I wish it was a foot or two longer but if I really need the distance I just attach to a power bank. But it’s pretty versatile, if you like to mod things you can easily convert this as a car mount. Lots of possibilities! I’m using this 95% of the time to charge and when I need to charge fast then I’ll plug it in. In my past phones the charging port has always been a weak point. It always gets loose over time. This won’t be an issue in the long run.

    I have to agree completely. When I got my iPhone 12 Pro Max I also purchased the clear MagSafe case and the mag save charger. The charger was a waste of money. Not only does it charge slower than a traditional lightning cable, but the amount of heat that it generates is ridiculous. It really had me concerned for the battery health of my phone due to the extreme heat. And when it does get that hot it’s Ronald the charge speed so it reduces it Buy a significant amount. I do like the clear MagSafe case however. I like the feel of the material that it’s made from. I like the way it looks on the phone. The only downside is that stupid white ring on the back where the magnets are. Other than that I like it a lot. I would’ve liked it if it was half the price LOL. But I still like it.

    In the past: We connect one end of the lightning cable to the power source, and the other end to the phone to charge
    MagSafe: We connect one end of the MagSafe cable to the power source, and the other end to the phone to charge
    So, how is MagSafe can be called wireless charging? It is wired charging, like a lightning cable. The different is just that with lightning cable, the charging connection is at the bottom of the phone, while with MagSafe, the charging connection is at the back of the phone.

      It only gives you the animation when you are receiving the full 15 watts. Are you using the new (original apple) 20w power brick? With the old 5w, 10w or even last year’s 18w apple power brick, it will not give you the animation because you are not getting the full 15w to the phone through the charger (even if you’re using the 18w brick) you need the 20w apple power adapter for this charger to work properly. Another thing, How thick is the case you are using? is it an original apple MagSafe case? Is the case too thick? Even with aftermarket non MagSafe case I still get the full 15 watts but the cases I use don’t exceed 2mm thickness

    LOL days trying answer "is the wall cable faster than the magsafe charger?"! Thank you! Man Apple people act like everyone has always had a Apple, and probably the way Apple people seem so clicky it might actually be true but! I am getting my first iPhone 13 Max Pro and everyone I know uses Android. When I knew lots of Apple users, I didn't own a Apple and now lol I have simple questions. Magsafe seems like "nice to have" item but not a "need to have" item. I want to record lots of video, if I run out while shooting, I now know I can charge my camera up quicker on the lightning cable and wall plug in(20w).

    Fun fact. Wireless charging really isn't wireless. You still are connected to something with a wire which goes into the wall.

    Wireless charging has been, and still is trash. I don't care what fancy name apple tries to give it. It's slow, it's worse for the battery, it adds more components to fail. Any company that makes a "portless" device will forever lose me and a bunch of people I know as customers.

    • @Rolexenforcer
      @Rolexenforcer 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your statement is very misleading, yes, it does take your phone from 0 to 50 percent battery in 30-35 minutes but to get it to 100 percent it takes more than 2 hours more, 2 hours and 45 minutes (to be exact) to fully charge the iPhone 12 pro max to 100 percent with the screen off the whole time hence why I don’t even bother using it. My Note 20 ultra has a way bigger battery than my 12 pro max and charges from 0 to 100 percent in exactly 62 minutes, less than half the time.
