This watch is near perfection! I got the same one back in early 2023 and i cant find anything better at this price point, sporty and elegant, great pick enjoy it!
I have the blue 42mm version. And I literally wear it 24/7. If I have to dress up, I swap to a finer one with a leather strap or go without. But this one sits under a shirt cuff very nicely, and isn't too flagrantly sporty. It also has 30 atm, so it can be worn in the ocean or the shower. Find your size, and you've got your own GADA watch.
Nice thorough reviews. I bought it from my local AD, brought it home, lived with it for a few days, but found it uninspiring (as did my wife), and sadly returned it. It’s really a spec monster, and from afar it’s got great looks, but close up if simply did t do it for me. Thanks for a terrific review, however.
I don't think this watch is for me, it just doesn't dazzle me visually. But holy cow, those specs! Why is almost every other 200m capable watch 13mm thick or more? Without a display caseback!? They should learn a thing or two from these guys.
Thanks for this great review. I love the watch and especially the color combination between the dial and the leather strap. I would swap the bracelet for the leather strap in a heartbeat. I am not a snob, but the only steel bracelet that I would these days consider for myself is the Rolex oyster bracelet.
Gorgeous watch. I prefer 38 or 39mm. 47mm lug to lug. 20mm lug width would make this watch perfect. And yes they should include the leather strap, especially at that price of $3500 USD
Normally, 37mm would be perfect for those of us with smaller wrists…..but the lug to lug on this one is too long. It would have been perfect with a 46mm lug to lug.
This Nomos Club Neomatic looks like a great watch for the money. And those specs are outstanding! When Nomos makes a version of this watch, a little larger, all brushed case and bracelet, and with a quick adjust clasp then game over. Nomos wins! I'd sell my Rolex, buy the Nomos, and then take my wife and Nomos on a very nice vacation. I'm not kidding....
I have a very flat 7” wrist, so the 42 Sport blue is perfect for me. I’ve owned it for a year and of the small (6 watch) collection I have, it is easily my favorite. If the smaller versions had a date (which I prefer) I would try one, but at this point I’m actually considering getting the 42 in black! It’s just that good. Excellent review. 😎👍🏼 I wish they made a 39 in glossy black. That would be the ultimate Explorer alternative that would actually be better than the Rolex IMHO
I own the now discontinued Signal Rot dial version of this watch. It has proved to be far tougher than it looks. I don't know how it is elsewhere but in Europe good discounts can be found on Nomos watches from time to time. Even at full retail they are good value.
Pin and collar is way more secure, and allows thinner links. It’s a no brainer to use pin and collars. And no loctite necessary, or worrying about stripping screw heads etc.
Watch enthusiasts always like to qualitfy which watch is a 1-watch calibre. But more than often, it is just a fairy tale, they will never settle for 1. The true 1-watch owner will not bother about such categorization, to him, that watch could be any watch actually.
A great quick review Oleg. I like this model from Nomos a lot but I already have this type covered in my collection so I'm unlikely to look at a purchase anytime soon. I do have the Nomos Ludwig 36 with the display case back that shares the same in house movement and is even thinner but only 3 bar water resistant. Because bezel is so small it wears much bigger than a 36 would suggest on my 7" wrist. A small point to mention on the 3001 movement in my watch is that it is a tad more noisy when the rotor is spinning. Thanks for sharing.
37 is too small for what I’m looking for and the larger one has super long lugs. Also not a fan of the polished bracelet. Great watch but not quite for me
Changed your review format? Oleg? Honestly, I prefer your previous style, ha ha. even though this looks bit more professional, but I feel that this format loses the connection between you and audience, Just my 2 cents. The watch does look small on your wrist. you and I have the same wrist size & 37 is too small. I think 40 would be perfect as a dress watch & 42 for diver. IMHO, the Nomos design concepts are getting bit old. Of course, it has their amazing in-house movement and signature dial designs, however, it is about time for them to take a bold step forward. I am not talking about "line-extension" (perfect example as Invicta :+), but using the similar Nomos concept to test out different markets. (Skagen (Denmark) was one of the hottest contemporary watch maker 30, 20 years ago, they never improved nor expanded, so they became absolute. Given that Skagen was a very entry level company). As for the bracelet & clasp, I totally agree with you. it just does not go with the dial and case design. it looks like it belongs with some other watch. With $3500 price tag, I can see there are so many other alternatives around, in spite of that gorgeous looking movement aside... Thanks for the review, Oleg.
Did you say this is a 3hz movement with 42 hours power reserve? If this is accurate I don't see the appeal, in house or not for a $3500 watch. Also you state that it's 200m water resistance with a push pull crown? Is this accurate?
3hz, 42h, but also 8.5mm height. I'd always take size over PR. I'd take anything over PR, actually. Give me a manual 24h PR with an indicator, in a 6mm case and I don't complain.
Pin and collar bracelet? Sorry, that's unacceptable at this price range. Thankfully, it has 3 slots for micro adjustment. It does push double its price, minus that unfortunate bit.
$300 for a display case-back... No. I would rather have them work on the bracelet and clasp. It feels cheap (for a $3k+ watch) in hand when I tried it on
Definitely not an everyday piece. Far too much polishing. Although the diameter is perfect the lug to lug is far too long and the 18mm strap is too thin. On another note; why would you think a 37mm would be too small for your wrist? I have an 8 inch wrist and I wear pieces from my 31mm 1949 Smiths up to a 47mm grand diver and a 53mm GShock Mudmaster and they all wear perfectly.
Watches in the thousands of dollars ranges can learn a lot from watches in the few hundred dollar range: no pin / collar bad joke on bracelets. Cheap chinese watches have moved beyond this horrible system. People are sick of the ubiquitous bracelet. Tired of boring dial materials, and hands. Chrome surrounds under the indices, always superior. Mirror finish on the clasp, a rookie mistake. In summary: NOPE.
This watch is near perfection! I got the same one back in early 2023 and i cant find anything better at this price point, sporty and elegant, great pick enjoy it!
Love this watch. Would like to see it in person and try it on. the color is probably the one of most sophisticated shades of green out there

Thanks for the great review and great macro
Looking at adding this to the collection early 2024 - when I get to the AD
Keep up the great content

Very helpful review. That pin and collar system is a terrible design, I was surprised to see they went that route. Thanks for sharing.
I agree it’s an unicorn with its combination of slim height and the added features. Well done to Nomos.
That petrol really looks great on the leather strap. How is the accuracy with the movement?
Gorgeous watch. I prefer 38 or 39mm. 47mm lug to lug. 20mm lug width would make this watch perfect. And yes they should include the leather strap, especially at that price of $3500 USD
It’s a beautiful piece that green looks like my philly eagles green as well super nice brother

48mm L2L is not excessive
@@cedarcanoefor a 37mm watch? It is beyond excessive
@muhamadfadhil2682
I have a 6.25 inch and this watch is great for my wrist..
This is one of my favorite watches and will more then likely be my next watch purchase
I was considering this one, but I will probably go for the new Ahoi 38.5 mm
how does the case hold up? does it scratch from fabric too?

Club sport neomatik Smoke😉
Thank you my friend. Have you looked at the new 39mm versions?
@@24hourstime not in person, no. Hopefully soon.

Really enjoyed making this review:)
Such a lovely dial, such a beautiful watch.
I would love to see this model with only raised sticks or raised 3-6-9-12 numerals.
The numerals and hashes are pained on
Great review, thank you!
Pin and collar is way more secure, and allows thinner links. It’s a no brainer to use pin and collars. And no loctite necessary, or worrying about stripping screw heads etc.
Great review, but at 37mm way too small for me.
Thanks:)
Patek owners speak highly of the pin&collar on their bracelet I wouldn’t complain too much if I were you
Great looking watch and movement

Nice watch, but I can't see myself spending $3500. You can find similar looking pieces for less than half (Atlantic Heritage 1951, for instance).
That Atlantic Heritage looks pretty cool
I wonder why there is a huge price difference between this and the Campus.
The Club Campus line is using the manual-wound Alpha Movement whereas the Club Sport line uses the automatic Neomatik movement.
Up in da Club the Nomos got no Love! Switched to the Wolex love returned to up in da club!
Nice. I like my watches thicc, so 8mm is a bit dainty. That said, decent-looking watch!

Thank you my friend:) Nomos Ludwig is also a fantastic watch!
The small seconds looks like a BIG seconds on that 37mm watch.
They should do a 30mm and I would buy it. 37mm is too big for my wrist. It makes it more ingenious to go smaller not bigger

Great taste.

Thanks Alex. Yes, I'm experimenting with new formats. Good points about this Nomos. This design is not going to be for everyone.

They could put 20,000 leagues under the sea on the dial the only water it will see will be the resort pool
😂😂😂
8.5mm thick watch with 20 ATM water resistant !!!
Nice
❤it’s a great watch
If only the lug to lug is reduced from 46 to 47mm then this would be perfect
Baume et Mercier riviera 10702 is a one and done watch. IMO
That's a great watch!
That giant protruding crown is not gonna feel comfortable.
Impressive thickness, but 21600 with 42 hours reserve, for USD$3500... Nope!
Watch is nice but the price 🤦
Pin and collar bracelet? Sorry, that's unacceptable at this price range. Thankfully, it has 3 slots for micro adjustment.

Maravilhoso!
Lugs for days!!
lol
That's not a beautiful movement, and regardless, I almost always prefer a closed caseback for engraving purposes.
Small. I feel this would be small for my wife.
That’s what your wife says 😂😂😂
Time to get a non obese wife.
LOL
Nope. at $4900 AUD, it is not right for me.

I agree about the 18mm lug width. I think 20mm would be welcomed change.
2 year warranty...If Nomos trust their products, they can do better than 2 years....
Indeed. Strange they still only offer 2 years. I'd buy other models from them sooner if they'd offer 5y, like Longines does.
