I like it a lot. NOMOS is hands down best bang for buck. Recognisable design, in-house nicely decorated calibers and fair price makes it a no brainer. Specially when you have thin, steel sports watch with a 200 m WR. Fantastic piece.
Does the clasp have on the fly adjustment? I’m seeing mixed results when I look it up. It seems impossible given the size of the clasp, but I thought I would ask.
I would purchase this watch if the lugs distance was about 45mm plus the sun ray dial bothers my vision. I have a longines with the same type of dial, however I have to continually adjust the watch position to read the time because to sun ray dial distorts the reading of the time. Last: One of the best selling points of the NOMOS Glashutte club sport is the colors used for the dial.
Nice perspective on this piece. I think if Nomos wants to play more in the sports watch area, they need to embrace mixed finishing so a mostly-brushed bracelet works. That clasp - what were they thinking? As it stands it's a fine watch that won't look good very long, polished centre links as well. At least you can get it on a textile strap or put it on something else. Opportunity missed because this could be a great long-termer for people.
Brushed will never happen, it’s totally against their design philosophy, they will never do a pure tool watch…these watches are bought by office people, they ll never go try to fit in every niche the market has to offer… they are pure office watches… watches for academics
Or let’s put it this way, I studied architecture in Germany, they are heavily influenced by German architectural design concepts… they have a certain design language that other brands just don’t have… they lol stay true to that…

I fully agree with you. These Club Sport are fine but they should not discontinue the previous Aqua Serie matte dials. I wish to see both white and black matte dials soonest
How is your experience with the auto winding rotor? Some people say it is very loud and has a grainy sound to it. I think this is very important for people who are buying online. Would appreciate some of your input on this, thanks.

300 meters never meant diving in the ocean 🌊 at 300 meters deep ! A watch water resistant to 30 meters is only rain. Water resistant to 50 meters is only shower and dishes. Never drop the watch in water. Water resistant to 100 meters is for swimming in a pool. Water resistant to 150 and 200 meters is for scuba diving 🤿 Water resistant to 300 meters is for diving maximum 20 meters deep. To dive deeper you need a watch with 500 meters, 600 meters to 1000 meters deep. Than you can dive. And for the decompression diving you need a helium valve on the case of the watch in order to release the air at each decompression step

What I’m trying to say that if you have fresh gaskets and made a pressure test recently you don’t need to be afraid to take a swim or shower with a watch rated to 3/5 ATM.

Lovely watch but terrible sizes…. One too big one too small. Give us a 39 or 40mm and it’s perfect!
That green is BEAUTIFUL! But the bracelet is a big let down with the push pins.
