A great way to keep your trail camera powered ALL YEAR ! - Tight Lines 'n Short Blood Trails Here's a link to purchase one of these boxes: amzn.to/45kasXW
I have been using these for several years. They easily will keep your camera running for over a year, and I'm talking cell cams. Yes, they are a bit bulky but they save so much money over lithium batteries. They are definitely worth it.
I just ordered one of these and wasn't sure if it would work with my Tactacam, luckily your video was the first to show up and I saw that i needed the adapter. Thanks for posting the link to make it quick and easy for those of us that needed to get an adapter!
youre welcome! thanks for watching! i hope you have a good experience with the batteries, ive got 9 of them and i still love them. saves so much more money than buying AA's ! - Tight Lines 'n Short Blood Trails
That is correct. However, some trail camera manufacturers recommend you put batteries in the tray as a backup. I do not have batteries in the tray in any of my cameras that I use this solar battery box with.
here's a link to it. you may have to shave the plastic insulator down a little bit to get it to fit snug, but these are the ones i use. thanks for watching! amzn.to/3Umaige
Thank you for this great information. My boss purchased the 12 volt battery and the adapters you recommended but the adapters don't stay in the camera. He purchased the Tactacam Reveal X Pro. Do you have any ideas why this adapter would work? Thanks.
I’m sorry, I don’t have one close to take a better look at it, but I do not believe that it has a hole in it to secure it to a tree. Fortunately, I have not had to worry much about theft.
Thank you, I am gonna geta few of them, not to change the subject but how is the r29x holding up for you? I just got mine last week and I love the thing..@@Horn_n_Fin_Outdoors
@@gaelewis6623 the solar panel will help keep the battery charged, the battery will run the camera, so cloudy or rainy doesnt matter. when the sun comes back out, the battery will take a charge again
Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures of that right now. But all I do is put the battery on the ground by the camera and wrap the cord around the camera mount that I use and Velcro in place.

All you have to do is cut some of the round plastic insulator off the adapter and it will fit perfect.
Just cut a thin “doughnut” shape off.
Thanks. I will give this a try
Very informative video, thanks!

hey fyi these adaptors do not fit my tactacam Its right size but the black plastic is too big to let it slide in all the way
@@brianscott1894 yes, just shave away about 1/16 of an inch from the end of the black plastic. it will then work
