- Keeping cellular trail cameras running without human intrusion can be critical to your deer hunting success. To do that, external battery packs and/or solar panels are often needed. The solar panels are worth the money. A couple of battery swaps cost more than the solar panel. Great video sir!

Solar all the way. I have 4 Camojojo’s out running on solar. Regular batteries and they are all going on a year with no issues. 👊🏻

Spypoint uses a small rechargeable lithium battery pack in some of their cameras. Those cost more than the battery boxes but they work well and save buying batteries down the road.

All cell camera companies should be using rechargeable battery packs for their cameras. Im using those battery boxes on my stealth cams and they usually last at least a year. Especially with the ones that have the built-in solar panels.
