I see one other person asking this ... question, don't u have issues with voltage? When I test my battery, it's read 13.64 volts at fully charged when you're hooking up a solor panel the way you are. You're adding more volts straight to the camera, which could damage the cameras they not made for taking in 15 and 16 volts. Other guys are adding a voltage regulator to the camera line so it doesn't burn out the camera...
I have seen another video where a similar solar box was made but they used a 12v voltage regulator in line with the setup. Have you encountered any issues with voltage?

I have not! I have a few boxes with bigger solar panels where I put voltage/charge regulators. But I haven’t had any issue with the smaller panels!
Put your solar panel wire in the other hole you drilled, then you can push more of the wire in so it doesn't show as much. My 2 cents.
