I've never seen Jerry smile like this before. He has the biggest smile on his face through the entire performance. He was just up there with his friends, performing for the pure joy of it. It's a beautiful thing, I wish he still smiled this this on stage.
Rotten Apple Cantrell and Staley both looked like fetuses here, even though Staley was 21, and Cantrell was 22. God, hard to believe they used to be a hair metal band. But every band does different genres before they find their sound. Nirvana was a CCR cover band before becoming the legendary band they were. Soon they dismissed this band, and they auditioned awful singers to piss off Layne. Layne had enough, and asked his former band mates from “Alice ‘N Chainz” if he could use the band, they said yes, and they became ALICE IN CHAINS. And the rest is history, a sad one but they were so amazing despite their demons they battled. RIP Layne, RIP Mike
@@AndrewLemmingsNirvana was never CCR cover band. Kurt literally started creating grunge music as early as 1985 as the band fecal mater. Green river is the only band that proceeded them.
OMG. They were so YOUNG and full of life, wow! Ah those heady heady days of youth...I remember being like that, party party party all the time, and finding your favorite band was the best! Baby Cantrell and Baby Staley rocked the house. Layne's voice was there...but in its infancy. Priceless, absolutely priceless!
