Ma shaa Allaah!i remember the days of QSS and Shaikh Daud, Shaikh Fareed (ra) Abu Uwais (ra) Shaikh Adli and Shaikh Jilbaly and Ali Tammimi, Zara bozo, etc. Why didn't these videos come out when Abu Uwais and Shaikh Fareed was alive? A lot of the history was buried with them! Shaikh Dawud i love you for the sake of Allaah because you are man enough to admit you made some mistakes however there is a generation behind us that never admits to making any mistakes and that in itself is tragic! Overzealous youth and their extremism has harmed the Muslims likewise there is another extreme on the rise and that is everyone is salafi and the watering down it to the point were it is rare to hear a person claiming this blessed way to have anything bad to say regarding ahl bidah and wide open on the Salafis and highlighting our mistakes instead of covering them.......May Allaah forgive us all.Aameen!

Dates are a bit off...Didn't come to Detroit until the mid 1990's. I remember when we were searching for buildings and finally set on the building on Van Dyke. I remember being one of the brothers fixing the building up for use as well. Prior to that QSS was in Cincinatti, OH.
Abu-Tasneem has the dates and locations a lil off 😅. There are some other clarities and corrections needed as well...
May Allah bless and reward him for his efforts and forgive him of his mistakes and errors, ameen.

What I want to hear is about the Haram the beloved Saudi Arabia is financing now! I took the Shahada in 1986 and all I heard upon coming to the Newark area was all that we blacks did that was Haram! From our hair cuts (fades) to humming! Any talk about the African or black man in a positive manner was called nationalism. Only to have black Imams talk endlessly about how glorious the Arab was. The damage the Black Salafi did to black self confidence is immeasurable. I could not care less to hear them now.

[Shaykh Al Albaani Rahimahullah on mentioning Good traits of the person being criticized]
Shaykh Al Albaani Rahimahullah then said,
I say: The critique [of the innovator or one who went astray] is either in the biography of the individual who is being critiqued - a historical biography - so here it is necessary to mention what he had of good and what he had of bad as regards to the one having his biography given...as for if the intention in writing the biography of the man is to warn the Muslimin and especially the commoners among them who do not have knowledge of the condition of the man and his merits and negative aspects; rather it could be that he has a good and accepted reputation among the common Muslims, however he takes up an evil 'Aqidah or evil manners. These common Muslims do not know anything about that concerning this man...in this case you do not come with this
innovation which has been called to day "Al-Muwazanah", that is because the intention in this case is the giving of advice (i.e. to the people about the evil of this man) and it is not to give a complete biography.
    Ref: Silsilah Al-Huda Wal-Nur, tape no. 850

May Allah bless and forgive Bro Dawood.

Nothing but fitnah people are tired of it...Just teach people their religion. Like our brother Abu Yusuf Khalifah, Shaykh omaisan, and Sameer in Stone Mountain these brother all they do is teach the people no TH-cam fitnah shows. And from my memory Farid Abdullah May Allah have mercy on him was not a man of fitnah and I doubt he we be on here with you. And Allah knows best. May Allah guide us all. Ameen

TH-cam fitnah shows?! Are you referring to these interviews as being part of "TH-cam fitna shows" as you eloquently put it? If so, since when did recounting historical facts become fitna? I ask Allah for success in receiving beneficial advice, and I ask Him to be among those given beneficial advice that's based on reality and is solution oriented, not that which is based on short sided opinions in defiance of reality and void of wisdom. Ameen.

Dawud my brother, please stop giving credit and praise to the Nation of Islam commonly known as The Nation of kufr for the spread of Islam anywhere here in America and know for a surety that all praise and thanks belong to Allah not Fard Muhammad, not Elijah Muhammad, not Warith D. Muhammad nor Luis Farrakhan but rather the spread of Islam in all forms and places was because of Allah and when he decree a matter it’s be and it is !

@@marzet70 I am from Newark and remember Lincoln avenue masjid before Abu Usamah and Abu Muslimah graduated. The truth is this: The black Salafi was the pawn in many issues that had nothing to do with us! Brothers here in Newark took on a gang mentality because they were running around with books on Fiqh with no Tazkiyah (Soul purification) as their foundation. The result was some of the nastiest attitudes on the east coast! Salafiya wreaked havoc on the black community! As a Sunni black Muslim, I will say here and now, that brotherhood once seen between us in the N.O.I. was destroyed when the black Muslim started thinking being Arab was the route to Islam.
