    I own one of these, it has almost 100k miles on it and it’s never had an issue other than tire problems, truly s great car. I’ve driven it pretty long distances quite a few times, it’s almost 100k miles and it’s never had any problems besides tire malfunctions!
    Also I use the sport mode for two things, being a hooligan and to slow down especially down hills because when you put it into sport mode it is basically the equivalent of dropping a gear in a manual transmission even though it’s a cvt. Great review

    Excellent review, tons of important features and driving experiences.
    I've always loved the accord coupe exl, will keep looking for a clean late model for a weekend ride, and if I could find a manual transmission then it's a bonus.
    Thanks for sharing this great video.

    Good video and very informative. The "s" on the shifter is for slow start mode designed to start off in 2nd gear for increased traction and control on slippery surfaces like ice. The paddle shifters eliminate the need for a manual shift mode. Just an observation. Thanks

    do you think the standard automatic transmission is good on the car or do you think the CVT is better?
    for the back seat, how tall are you cause it seems that it has a pretty good room back there.

    • @SKLIFEstyle
      @SKLIFEstyle  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am like 5' 11". I always prefer the standard vs CVT...but I think they did a decent job with there's and again let you hang gears so you can make it push and feel the torque just just hear the engine scream so I think you will be more than fine.**SK**

    How do these do in the snow? These have traction control rite?

    • @SKLIFEstyle
      @SKLIFEstyle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does have traction control. My friend had an Integra and Forester. Way better than the Integra, not quite as good as the 4wd Subaru but he has never complained and said it's runs well for him. Few times I've been in it during winter I never felt concerned. I believe he did also throw some hybrid winter/summer tires on. I did that with my 05 V6 and it was solid too.**SK**

    Is this stick shift or automatic car? Sorry I don’t know much about cars

    • @SKLIFEstyle
      @SKLIFEstyle  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is an automatic. Stick shift will have three pedals, no paddle shifters and a gear selector you have to move for every gear. Honda makes some easy to use, and yet fun manuals. Automatic is best for daily commuting and less concentration required when driving. But if you ever decide to learn a manual (standard) car, Honda's are some of the best to practice and learn on. Thanks for watching. Be sure to Subscribe! I have a lot of car videos and many more coming.

      @@SKLIFEstyle how about the v6 version?

    • @SKLIFEstyle
      @SKLIFEstyle  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @cz4585 If it were my kid I wouldn't put them in a v6 if not necessary, unless they are a super conservative driver and personality, and the v6 is just a good buy. Not too much power, but more than is really needed and probably tempting to step on it a lot more. This (v4) is still plenty fast feeling and all the same features. IMO.

    Would you say this is a good first car if bought used?

    • @SKLIFEstyle
      @SKLIFEstyle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely, low maintenance and gas costs, still large enough to fit a good amount inside if you have to move stuff around although 2 doors makes it a bit of a pain, but same time larger doors means larger items get in easier. And trunk space is huge. Plus it looks cool and ages well. I got a 4 door Honda for my first car, second was a coupe and it made my day every day. I'd say go pick one up and welcome to the Honda family lol..**SK**

      @@SKLIFEstyle haha thank you for welcoming me, And around how many miles is a good amount for a used car?

    • @SKLIFEstyle
      @SKLIFEstyle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@watsonmatthew8865 Depends on the car. I just got a 05 Highlander with 146K on it. But they are old school Japanese built. This one was only maintained by Toyoya dealerships, and even beat up ones are known to get over 200K so I wouldn't doubt mine have 50% life left. That said, a car this age (2014) you would want to try and find just under 100K, or if right over, try to find one that's already had the timing belt and water pump done. Check mounts, axles and bearings (frequently. go on these and around that mileageprobably showing wear)...this is a V4 so mounts may not wear down as quick. My pro tip, don't wish a car be the one you want. Especially these, they are a dime a dozen. I know when you get the itch, and it's your first especially, it likes let me get it now before I can't. No. Trust me. You will get one, so take the extra week or two if needed, and know a year or two after you will be happy, rather than just happy a week sooner with a car that has all sorts of issues you could have easily spotted. Don't get a car with like 7 previous owners especially this new, and try to find one stock, more modified the more they probably beat on it. But to sum up mileage isn't everything. If you find some 40 yr old owner, sole owner and they have 130K...it may be wayyy better than some 22 yr old, 5th owner, tricked out Honda with 98K because it's about care and maintenance.**SK**

    • @SKLIFEstyle

      Not at this time..replaced my old Accord Coupe with the Highlander for my daily. When I do finally get another car for myself in the near future it will probably be something a little more premium and/or sporty. But its hard not having a Honda parked out front.
