It's difficult not to like most Accords from 2003 & up. I call my 2010 EX my 'poor man's 5-series'. Does everything I expect it to, even when pushed into a corner.
He can talk you into buying a car by telling you how much he hates it....ha. I guess the phrase sellin ice to eskimos applies here. I mean I actually wanna go buy this car
I gotta be honest when I saw the first video from you, I was doubtful hearing your voice but watching your full review the first time, you got me. My favorite reviewer.
I got the 2014 accord sport with the 6 speed manual. Great car with great mpg. Anytime I give anyone a ride or getting work done on it I get compliments on the fact it’s a manual accord. 🎉
Love your reviews, Bill. Your crankiness always puts a smile on my face. Honda, being a Japanese company employs a Shinto religion outlook into their vehicles, that is to say a religion that revolves around the land and seasons and their relation with man. I'm sure that is where the name "Earth Dreams" comes into play. Heck, the reason they named the car Accord, they wanted to bring the earth and man together in one accord.
The V6 engine version transforms the car from a buzzy 4 cylinder into a much more luxury oriented ride, with a traditional 6 speed auto. Significantly faster, low 14 second quarter mile times, and you'll get 35+mpg due to the way the engine deactivates half the cylinder banks to save fuel at cruise speeds.
I see that this review was done 4 years ago, and I was surprised to find it. I bought a new 2013 Accord EX-L sedan ten years ago, with the V6 engine and 6AT. I viewed it then as a stealth sport sedan in sheep's clothing. Ten years and 126K miies later, I can confirm that it is all of that, AND the most reliable car I have ever owned. I enjoy your classic car reviews, and how well they performed back in the day. Meanwhile, my 10 year old family sedan delivers 1960s muscle car acceleration (0-60 mph in 6 seconds) with econo-car fuel economy (34 mpg at a steady 75 mph). And other than oil changes, tires, brakes, a battery, and a timing belt, everything is original. I love the classics of decades gone by, but my daily driver has earned my undying loyalty.
I might buy one tomorrow for 15,000 not liking the price but it has all the good stuff like black leather and screen 50,000 miles looks brand new idk if it's a good price though
I wanted the EX-L trim level at that time because it has the Lane departure warning ⚠️ ,Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision warning, Multi-view back up camera, touchpad, 7 speaker stereo system with subwoofer, Satellite radio, Auto dimming rearview mirror, Sunroof, Door lights, Leather seats, Heated front and rear seats, Adjustable seats, and rear passenger air vents.

13:57 - "Very Light Steering" - Honda unfortunately went EPS(Electric power-assist Steering) with the 9th gen(2013-17) Accords. Electric motor steering tends to feel more linear and direct, less of the 'heaviness' associated with turning the wheel in a car with conventional steering(hydraulic pump). And in about 5 percent of those made, there were issues - pulling, drifting to one side or other, constant minor corrections at high speed, cutting out, transforming the steering to a lead sinker, etc. Also, make sure the cold(pre-driven) tire pressures are exactly what is on the vehicle door frame sticker with that information. 33psi cold I think for the machine you reviewed in this video. Overinflated tires lighten up the steering, make it almost twitchy by my standards. Underinflated, and the steering is heavier, but potentially sloppier, delayed 'ocean liner' response. Within 1psi of Honda's spec, it should be spot on. Steering in general is lighter nowadays thanks to the ridiculously wide rims and low-profile tires motivated by the looks crowd.
@@stanmarcusgtv It's possible. I'd have to drive an example in good condition to know for sure. Hyundai added steering modes: Comfort = super light! Normal = ....normal! Sport = noticeably heavier to the electric PS in their 2014 Elantra and Sonata.

Even though both are high mileage and drive well. Do you think I should consider either of them?

go to KBB look up pricing of 2014 Accord EX-L and 2014 Mercedes E350 w/ standard equip, same mileage and condition and you'll find the Honda is worth over 20% more than the Mercedes that originally cost more than twice as much as the Honda and the farther you go out the better the Honda advantage becomes btw, the E350 does not have leather seating, that's an extra cost option that is standard in the Honda PLUS the Accord has more interior room and a bigger trunk than the Mercedes

V6 accords with their perfectly designed leather seats are some of the smoothest, most luxurious rides on the road. 👌

The best accord 2014 ❤
When I put my Accord in sport mode, I think it’s actually very fun to drive

I have a 2014 accord ex sedan it's beautiful. It gets up to 530 gas milage. And its an excellent daily driver.
That’s a beautiful car. I want one. That “starry night from windows 3.1” line was hilarious

As an owner of a 2014 EX-L, let me tell you a 9mm will not fit in there😂
The door compartment is much better

The EX-L or Touring V6 trim level is better than the LX, EX, or Sport trim level
The Touring V6 is the best trim level because it has navigation and all the technology from all the trim levels
