Just did my first set, which happened to be the same as yours in the video. I followed the same method as well and wow, I’m impressed! I was going to go for a set at the salon, but I may just go for a pedi. Exciting and surprising! For anyone on the fence, just go for it!

After having to grow out my "Dipped nails" during lockdown, I haven't gone back to the salon. I keep my nails natural most of the time, but for special occasions I do like to use press on nails.

I have to revisit these now. I loved them when I was working and have forgotten them now that I’m retired. They last for the longest time and didn’t pop off even when using a computer all day.

I happened to buy a couple packs on a whim from dollar tree (that extra 25 cent stepped their game WAY up) I got Kiss press-ons. one Medium Coffin color line, no glue. The other Short Square just said press and go, came with accent nails. I read reviews when i got home and everyone said they didnt even last a day... WELL i prepped well and didnt even use glue... could not believe they weren't lifting AT ALL on day 8 when I was tired of the color.
I messed a couple nails off with my removal, so I'm grateful I found your video this time! 🙌
I'm getting ready to put on the color pair now 🤞🤞🤞I know it's summer, but I'm a black nail girly, broke and 100% incapable of a simple polish after 20 years of practice 😅

I actually bought some press on nails. And I’ve never used them. But with this video showing me how easy it can be, I will definitely be putting them on my nails. My left hand the nails grow. My right hand they just keep splitting and breaking. I guess I do a lot more with my right hand. But my nails look terrible. And now I can put some press on nails, with glue, and keep, them for two weeks. Thank you for helping me out.

It seems like they've improved the stickiness of the nails recently. I've been putting them on with just the sticky tabs (no glue) and they stay nice for about a week. 😉

I bought them over a year ago but ruined my nails when taking them off. Then I saw you mentioning them in one of your previous videos and I realised I also bought a set with the stickers. I decided to give those a try and removed them following the instructions. I love them ! They stayed with me for almost two weeks ! And my nails were still in mint condition after removal. Thank you Nancy for this video. It came at the right moment. Yesterday I bought 4 new sets. Unfortunately the French are hard to find with the stickers here in Belgium and I’m afraid of the glue keeping in mind the disaster with the first set. I hope I’m able to find the removal product because now I use aceton. Great video !

I've been using press on nails for a few yrs now. Always went to the nail salon for many many yrs. So much easier and less expensive too. And they have so many pretty colors and styles now. They don't last as long for me because I'm in the pool every day but I'm fine with that. I just put a new one on if one falls off. Love them!

I'm so glad you did this video about press on nails. I've been wanting to use them, but was at a loss in regard to how to put them on, maintain them, and take them off. I'm trying to stop biting my nails. I think this will definitely help with that while having great looking nails NOW!

You really inspired me to give glue-on nails a try. The nails from the salon were always too thick for my liking, took so long to do (and wait) and were costly. My natural nails did not grow out nicely. For Easter, I decided to give them a try so my hands would look pretty. Though not perfect, it looked so nice! I thought I would only do them for special occasions, but I am hooked!! I am on my 4th set now. Each time, my technique improves. This last set looks splendid!!! I get so many compliments on my nails now! 😁🤗

Thank you for this tip, like you I was going to nail salon every 2-3 week, but I noticed that I was getting issues with my skin around my nails (dry skin, bleeding etc). Saw your video and gave them a try, without the glue they lasted 6 days the first week I am on my second week and used a nail dehydrator, to see how long they will last. If they do not last any longer, I will try the glue. Much appreciate the advice, love the nails, and I will be saving some money

Press on nails are wonderful if you have relatively well shaped natural nails. I have tried many of the new brands of press ons and continuously had issues with them lifting or popping off. I now do my own gel polish nails at home and have never looked back. I invested in the steam machine for removal and have zero damage to my natural nails. Either way, it's just one more addition to making us feel better about ourselves. Thanks for your video.

Impress nails were around long before the pandemic. They used to stay on at least a week but they must have changed the adhesive because now at least one will fall off with hours. I’m going to try buffing first to see if that helps.

I still use polish occasionally, but I have been using either color Street or dashing diva which last for me two weeks, even swimming every day, and I get tired of them so I switch. I just use the press on nail color on top of my nail, but my daughter loves the ones that you were using so there are lots of good options out there including still supporting your local nail tech. Thank you for the tips and that is not a pun on words.💅🏻

Thanks for this video Nancy! I've been using nail wraps for months now and I love them! They are easy, take much leass time and are WAY more affordable! Not to mention, they don't ruin my nails either. I will never get them done in a salon again.

I love nail wraps! One thing is I put some on my toes and left them in for almost two months (my toes last longer than fingers)…. That unfortunaley was too long and my mail started getting damaged.
Lesson learned! Just because they still look great doesn’t mean mean they should be worn past 3-4 weeks

Awesome, thanks so much for sharing! I have not seen the Glue Off, but will surely look for it. I wear press-on nails and love them as well. However, your method is quite simple and I like it. I watched one person put clear polish on her nails right after she buffed them. That didn't make sense to me because how would they last? Anyway, thanks again! I'll check out the website because my nail bed is a little large and I need them to fit.

Can you work at an office and type with these? Also washing your hair, constant hand washing... do they stand up to that?

    • @shoppingonchampagne
      @shoppingonchampagne  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Yes! I like to opt for the short version so they don't get too in the way. They are still long enough to look pretty but don't keep me from doing things. I have no problem with showering, hand washing, loading the dishwasher, etc...and they last me about a week. I've found that when I use the press on nails (with the sticky backs) PLUS their glue, they hold up even longer and don't have any issues with lifting.

Probably not. I have simplified, concentrating on home facials, healthy eating, luxurious baths, spray tanning, lipstick, eyeliner, skincare, luxurious bath products, short hair (gray) and conditioners and meticulous teeth are. I gave up hair color, most makeup, nails. Kept what provided the most payoff in my experience.😊
