Was gonna get a 750 but found a deal on a 2016 gsxs 1000f, i love it it has the k5 gsxr1k engine with 180hp and 88 tourqes with fu exhaust and ecu flash, and its comfy to ride all day

Gixxer brah , I started motorcycling recently on a Z650 , When I upgrade would you recommend 600 cc or 1000cc (sport bikes)? the high speed of 1000 is very inciting but 600 seems very nimble similar to my 650 and probably cheaper insurance than a 1k.
600cc are track focused machines, the peak power is at very high rpm. Never road 1000cc so can’t say from personal experience but I believe they are different type of beasts. Depends on what you want 650s, r7 etc are road superbikes when you go to 600 or 1000 you basically take race bike with lights on it. If you can respect the power of them you’d be good on any its not like you always have to push to the max
So do I need to go up to a gxsr 750 or 1000 to be a real squid or can I have a lot of fun on a 600? Dirt bike all of childhood then 300, SV650, now I got the itch for a full fairings just for fun. The 600 really not as streetable as the 750/1000?

They make mid 140 whp with a dyno tune and bolt ons. You're not touching 180 hp
