Thanks, Simon! Stoked on those frontside 5-0s and trying to dial in the flow on transition. Got to get back to street skating soon though! Hope you’re doing good brother🙌
@@OldBrokenSkater thanks, I’m doing ok 🙏🏻 Daily exercises and scan now booked for Saturday afternoon then moving forward, more longboarding, exercises and start to integrate some park rolling again 👊🏻
Awesome work! Dropping back in from frontside looks scary man. Frontside is sketchy you are right there! 5-0s came out great. Nice caveman tip, I land 2 feet when I pop it and have been trying to get the 1 footed version so I will try this!
Thanks, Scott! The frontside drop is definitely still scary every time 😂. Hopefully, it’ll feel natural one day! For the caveman, narrow up your stance to grab the board easier, then focus on getting that one-foot hold. Do a bunch from the one-foot position to get used to balancing on one leg. Super fun trick!!!
Appreciate it! Back in the day, I didn’t even know they had a name-I was just throwing them around 😂 Now I’ve got to try them on some grinds or rails. Thanks for the idea!
Thanks, Wes! Those 5-0’s have been a long time coming (since I was a teen), stoked to finally get them! Definitely give the caveman a go-it’s a super fun and totally doable trick. Still planning to do that manual vid soon! Hope you’re out there getting some good sessions in with solid weather 🙌
well as long as it's not an oven outside thats a start! Weather here went from 70s to 50s in the last week. Good for the skating....for the surfing...well it will be fun😂
Thank you, been living in the bowl lately 😂. Frontside is super sketchy, no doubt! Patience and persistence go a long way. I’d say start on a bank or pyramid just to get a feel for the shoulder rotation. I found that 'looking/peeking' almost over my shoulder where I'm turning back in helped a lot.
@@OldBrokenSkater I've been doing that on the slightest incline, wouldn't call it a bank. It's funny cause now that I'm starting to hit fs 180's, they feel better than the kickturn.
Banging FS 50-50’s and those FS 5-0’s are something else! Can tell your a surfer too the way you flow around the bowl 👊🏻

Appreciate it! That blunt’s been a favorite of mine since I was a teen. Stoked the old legs let me get them today😂

love this style of video. just shredding
Thanks a lot! That’s the goal-just shredding and keeping the vibes high. Plenty more sessions to come!🙌
You for sure got some grind on those 5-0's and I am going to have to try that caveman I think I can get that.

Frontside definately sketch. I still can't frontside kickturn on transition. Great session.🤙🏼

What the name of the shoes? It look durable and nice.
These shoes are Vans "Zahba Mids". Super comfortable, and they have lasted quite some time now.
