Hi mate, im doing my own supersonic flow simulations and was just curious as to what the drag force numbers were on this simulation?. im getting a huge overestimation on mine and may change my mesh to match what you have done here. Cheers, Tyson
@@ClimateCFD Thanks for your reply!, im from Australia. Your videos were a great help with my Thesis, modelling and simulating a new Wind Turbine i designed. I mentioned to the other Engineers for great professional tips look out for the guy with the Northern UK accent, am i right location wise? .. Yeah the mesh looks good after a tonne of fine tuning whilst using various research papers also in setup. I actually used one of your other videos mesh today and its currently running, it hasnt crashed so thats good but looking at the plot monitor for normal forces and its still too high. Im going to save this project as it looks like its actually going to complete successfully. I will recreate the mesh using this videos mesh and let you know if it improves the Y+ value which i would assume isnt good at this point. (What i like about this video is the refinement region), which i have been seeing other similiar simulations to my own using but in a convoluted way. Your way makes way more sense. Thanks again mate!.
