Blessing 2 is an absolutely lovely IEM. Packs that initial "wow" factor for its detail, imaging, natural sound-stage (nice height in addition to width - an interesting feeling) and smoothness. Some have commented on the bulk of the shells but this is the most comfortable IEM out there for me personally, one of my favorite things about it. Bass packs a punch when it's supposed to, but the sound is on the leaner side for sure. On one hand this help with clarity (bass never obscures anything, while still being impactful when it's supposed to). On the other hand, if you aren't paying attention to what you're listening to, you can sort of "ignore" or "forget" the music (unless I'm listening to bassy ambient, deep techno, and similar). In that respect, the music is a bit more out of your head than in it. Something like the Ikko OH10 is more engaging than the B2 in this way. BUT - if you swap tips for something like the SednaEarfits, whose line I absolutely love, the sound gets a lot more engaging, more in your head and bassy without sacrificing much detail. For anyone out there new to this - your time (and especially your money!!!) is honestly maybe better spent experimenting with different tips than amps/dacs. Try out Sedna Earfits, Sedna Xelastec, Symbio F... Stock tips that come with the B2 are the comfiest I've tried, though.
@Michael Blum I couldnt agree more. The best way I can describe these earphones is to say the frequency response "feels" good to my ear. When I put in an earphone that has more distortion it feels bad to my ear and more or less hurts when it hits specific frequencies. This IEM does the opposite. When vocals are presented they literally feel good to my ear. Its something thats hard to put into words. But going from Legacy 3, Blon 03, then these back and forth its readily apparent to me that I made a very good investment not only for sound quality but also for the health of my ear. Truly an experience to listen to these babies..rock on!!!
Just got my pair in the mail today. Came from a pair of Tin Hifi T4's, and also own some Hex v2's. These are a significant step up to the T4's in every department except the bass quantity. I must say coming from the T4's, there are some tracks where I just yearn for a bit more low end thump out of the Blessings, but there are also many tracks where the bass is perfectly satisfactory, even strong and the detail revealed in the bass is far above the T4's, it's far cleaner, tighter, and better separated. They won't make bass light mixes sound heavier than they should and when a mix is heavy in the low end, the blessings show that. In saying that, the separation and detail is levels above, the imaging on some electronic music is ridiculous, sounds flying around the back of my head on image complex tracks from Max Cooper etc. The portrayal of depth is awesome as well, things that are far away are very far away. I'd say they dig up more detail than my Hex's by a good margin. They reveal the detail and character within things like reverb details and delay feedback very easily. Have had a few "haven't heard that before" moments today already listening to them. Just wish they had a touch more oomph down low, but thoroughly impressed regardless. Might try some foam tips and see if that warms them up a bit. Highly recommend at $320 USD.

I'm actually curious to know if there any IEMs that are currently out that are even worth considering after getting a pair of B2's. I got mine on 11.11 for $302.49 for the Wooden Green option, and while they haven't shipped yet, I find myself looking extensively into IEMs that would be an upgrade over those as well. The one that sticks out to me is the Thieaudio Monarch or Clairvoyance for about $700. There's also the Moondrop S8 (which were $605 on 11.11), but general consensus is that they aren't worth the 2x difference in price over the B2.

Very good review as usual👌, I need your advise for this matter please I purchased the moondrop blessing2 from many monthes, but sadly iam not happy with the quality of sound, before buying the blessing 2 I had another iem :bgvp ArtMagic vg4 which I guarantee it's much more better compare to blessing 2 sound, I see other reviews about to changing the eartips, others to upgrade the cable to show a better quality , but iam not clear is that will change the sound or not? If yes then which model to request in eartips & cables that you recommend? Appreciate your answer, thanks.
Hello. Thanks for a good thorough review. I am a little late to the game as they say? How would these pair with the Chord Mojo 2? I currently use the Meze 99 classics as my listening when streaming. I was looking at the new Meze ADVAR IEM'S? which do you prefer and/or recommend? Thank you.
Can anyone give a recommendation to upgrade the cable on the Blessing 2 without breaking the bank? I just bought a pair (haven't arrived yet), but it sounds like I may want to replace the stock cable. Any suggestions apprecaited!

My first iem is the Oxygen and I always find it again....... I have set in on the side for two months since I got the MELE........I listen to a lot of Rock, Metal and Instrumental-Classical and the MELE have been more of the sound characteristics I was looking for.
@@inc06nito Kato Tonal is very good, but the DD makes the technicality (details, etc) limited. But Kato is one of the best DD IEM out there. In 150-200 USD, I'll take 7Hz Timeless for its fantastic resolution and good technicality, but i reckon some will prefer Kato because how good its tuning and design wise. Hexa technicality is good for its price, but resolution is quite low and the tonal feels too flat and thus make it not fun to enjoy the music you play. Rather than Hexa, I personally prefer the Truthear x Crinacle Zero or the Tin Hifi T2 Plus.
Hi i just recently came across your channel. I’m wondering if I can ask something. i had a 5.5G iMod, feeding into a D10 Cobra, feeding into a Senn IE8. Or occasionally just using the D10 as aDAC from my laptop, into the same IE8. I absolutely love the sound signature of this combo - but of course chargers for the mini-USB iBasso and the 30-pin 5.5G iMod are rare and expensive now. i’m less mobile nowadays (even since pre-pandemic) and I’m more looking for a USB DAC and IEM combo (I’m open to sticking with these IE8s though... love ‘em!)
I have two sets of Moondrop Starfield. The left driver of the first set failed after few works of operation. I got a replacement from Moondrop, after opening a ticket on Amazon. He asked me to send him back the defected unit to China, but we agreed that it would be a waste of shiping money, because it costs to much to send from Europe to China with DHL insured (with tracking). The second set arrived after 4 weeks. Now, after 3 months of more or less frequent use the left driver of the second set also died. After these experience with two Moondrop Starfields I would *not* recommend anybody to buy from them. It seems they have quaitly issues. I am now sitting on two defected sets, both having left drivers defected.
Hey Andrew, great review. I own the blessing 2 and found the percussive instruments feeling a bit too "tight", like as if the skin on tablas never being able to loosen up. Again like most instruments it belongs to a spectrum, so the looseness is still important to nail a correct timbre. Not too crazy about the bass or ambient highs on this, but for the price, it's "forgivable" haha.
@@rickg8015 good question. I'm more of an iem hobbyist, but have the 660S Senns as well as the dunu dn2000 which both exhibit great weight and timbre. I say this as a musician because I've played along with drums and tablas. Sure I have more expensive iems but I'm not crazy on spilling dough when most iems can't even nail those to reassure me that it'd be worth it.
Welcome to the chifi category! You'd be amazed that you can find better sounding iems here at even less than $100. I wonder how this compared to kz zs10 pro? They have same driver configuration and same built? Probably same thin cable too.
Blessing 2 is better and it's not close imo. The ZS10 pro and ZSX are V-shaped iems and both don't have the same tonal balance, detail retrieval, bass texture, and imaging that the Blessing 2 has.
I may be a bit late but you simply can't compare those to the Blessing 2 they simply are worlds apart, with the B2 obviously being the superior iem. It's not just the sound even the build quality is better with the B2, the ZSX for example doesn't have the filled out medical grade resin that the B2 has.
Can you please recommend me a pair that the build quality is AMAZING and that the sound reflects the great construction.. I don't want too much bass. under $200
Don't have much Opeth except for that lovely bloody peacock album. Tonality seemed off on Master of Puppets (like guitars being re-"eq'd") but for fast death metal, I'd say they are frenzy furiously delicious, with clear separated vocals as icing on the cake.
Personally, I LOVE the treble on the Blessing 2. I'm looking for a TOTL upgrade but I'm worried about getting treble as forward and crisp as the B2. Personal preference really can lead people to say crazy things.
2:30 For $320 a cable is deemed good enough if it doesn't suck? It's $320! That feeds a family of four for two weeks. That buys you quite a decent GPU. A good CPU. A somewhat decent bike. And these people can't include a very good cable with a $320 IEM, something that isn't stiff and just borderline doesn't need to be replaced?!? I think we have lost our bearings a bit in this hobby.
it's still a good cable though. It's better than cables I've seen on IEMs that cost over $1k. My advice for anyone who is concerned about cable value, consider making your own. Although for these I wouldn't feel the need to.
do not get them. i have had them for around 3 months the sound and quality is worth the price to me but what make me regret buying them is that the earplugs do not have a retaining ring. i have to grab tweezers every time now to get them out.
Hey guys, want to ask is the moondrop blessing 2 really that good as claimed by many? How does it compare to the other mainstream famous earbuds ie Sennheiser momentum, Airpods Pro, Bose, B&O, as many people also claimed those are quite good.
The cable is just terrible, really bad. Same with the case. I flip flop on how I feel about these a lot. They can be really boring, and really nice+accurate. I'll trust the experts, though, when they say you can't really do better for under a grand.
I think moondrop is the exception and not the rule. Toneking iem I purchased for example was incoherent and congested out of an es100 compared to the jvc fdx1. Not even close

Thank you.
I use the blessing 2’s with the mojo 2 and it sounds fantastic
thank you for this Review, Andrew.
I haven‘t had the Blessing 2 on my Radar, for „to Good in the Budget“ Things and added it, to my wishlist.
Is it better than the starfiel interms ofprice to performance ?
any chance you’ll do re-reviews of past iems, like andromeda?
There's a new Andromeda out now that I'll probably review
What Do you think about the iems in combination with an oppo ha-2 Se+an mobile device , fiio a3 Ipod 5th gen wolfson?
Might grab a pair of these for sure for review!
Can anyone give a recommendation to upgrade the cable on the Blessing 2 without breaking the bank? I just bought a pair (haven't arrived yet), but it sounds like I may want to replace the stock cable. Any suggestions apprecaited!
Dunu DUW-02
are more comfortable than moondrop aria? they look more rounded
Aria is more comfy because it is "universal" size and form factor. But sound wise, far away.
Compared this with moondrop starfield, is it the same size (shell) or blessing 2 bigger shell than starfield?
B2 is bigger.
Can you respond please what is the best in sq : dk301pro or blessing2 ?
How does this compare to an old Senn IE8 for soundstage? Anyone know?
How does it compare to the se846?
I wanna see it compared to any se series, i bet the 846 blows it out of the water
@@ethanwashere_ I don't know about the SE846, but the B2 is almost a different sport comparing with the SE535. It's not totally fair, as the SE535 is a decade old, but the B2 is far far far superior.
Hello, i have a question. This, compared to moondrop KXXS which one is better?
Blessing 2 by a mile
Thanks! after watching your videos and other audio reviewers ive decided to buy the Moonfield instead :D because ive just realized that the blessing 2 is out of my budget, maybe next time
Guys, please help me. i can't decide which one i should buy. the Oriveti OH300 or Moondrop Blessing 2. thanks
I did not know he had this new channel.
Julian Lage. respect fam
My first iem is the Oxygen and I always find it again....... I have set in on the side for two months since I got the MELE........I listen to a lot of Rock, Metal and Instrumental-Classical and the MELE have been more of the sound characteristics I was looking for.
How do these compare to the AirPods Pro 2?
no contest. blessing 2 showed who's the king.
Blessing 2 cs beyerdynamic dt900? Which one sounds better?
Blessing 2.
@@LemonSpitzID how bout compared with kato and hexa?
@@LemonSpitzID thank you
Wonder how these compare to KZ As16, those are also very revealing
Please review KXXS from Moondrop. 🙏
Starfield basically replaced them.
Any plan on reviewing tinhifi t4? 🤔
Do you guyz think this is better than the Shure KSE1200?
How does it compare to the FiiO FH5
Blessing2 > FH5
Kanas pro was one of my faves
KZ ZSX vs Moondrop Blessing 2?
Lol
No comparison
LOL
😂
Hahahaha
Come on, are u serious?
Blessing 2 vs Solaris?
These or Campfire Solaris? with an SR25
Solaris is 3x more expensive. But I would choose B2 and spend rest on something else, DAP or cables.
Sony Ier-Z1R or moondrop s8??
Z1R for sure. The price differences tho, hard pill.
FIIO FH5 or Blessing 2 dusk?
Blessing 2 Dusk 7 days a week. I hope that's what you went for!
What is that phone you're using?

Hi i just recently came across your channel. I’m wondering if I can ask something.
i had a 5.5G iMod, feeding into a D10 Cobra, feeding into a Senn IE8. Or occasionally just using the D10 as aDAC from my laptop, into the same IE8.
I absolutely love the sound signature of this combo - but of course chargers for the mini-USB iBasso and the 30-pin 5.5G iMod are rare and expensive now.
i’m less mobile nowadays (even since pre-pandemic) and I’m more looking for a USB DAC and IEM combo (I’m open to sticking with these IE8s though... love ‘em!)
How long do these headphones last? if they die after 1-2 years, I'd be really f'd off
I have two sets of Moondrop Starfield.
What’s your reference IEM, and over ears (closed or open back?)
@@rickg8015 good question. I'm more of an iem hobbyist, but have the 660S Senns as well as the dunu dn2000 which both exhibit great weight and timbre. I say this as a musician because I've played along with drums and tablas.
Sure I have more expensive iems but I'm not crazy on spilling dough when most iems can't even nail those to reassure me that it'd be worth it.
review kz zst?
How do you rate Shuoer Tape? Not perfect, but good cables and Spinfit ear tips make Tape listenable. Opinion please!
Welcome to the chifi category! You'd be amazed that you can find better sounding iems here at even less than $100.
I wonder how this compared to kz zs10 pro? They have same driver configuration and same built? Probably same thin cable too.
I am wondering the same, but nobody here is answering that. Guess we are the only Chi-Fi fans here.
I wanna know Moondrop 2 vs KZ ZSX.
@@xsparik i hope someone will answer. But i guess only one reviewer got the balls to give an honest answer.
I don't want too much bass. under $200
Could any one suggest me best iem for $150... I already have kz zs10 pro
Pls also review blon bl-01. Pls pls pls?
But how does Opeth sound on it? :)
Don't have much Opeth except for that lovely bloody peacock album. Tonality seemed off on Master of Puppets (like guitars being re-"eq'd") but for fast death metal, I'd say they are frenzy furiously delicious, with clear separated vocals as icing on the cake.
I feel these reviews are misleading,. Why do $200 speakers have better more natural sounding treble than these?
Personally, I LOVE the treble on the Blessing 2. I'm looking for a TOTL upgrade but I'm worried about getting treble as forward and crisp as the B2. Personal preference really can lead people to say crazy things.
Can’t wait you do Variations… the bass could be to much for you✌️😁
2:30 For $320 a cable is deemed good enough if it doesn't suck?
Although for these I wouldn't feel the need to.
do not get them. i have had them for around 3 months the sound and quality is worth the price to me but what make me regret buying them is that the earplugs do not have a retaining ring. i have to grab tweezers every time now to get them out.
even 300$ moondrop has magnificent capabilities imgaine what 700$ moondrop s8 can do
sure s8 is better than b2 but at that price you'll have diminishing returns. so the value of b2 is much better
Hey guys, want to ask is the moondrop blessing 2 really that good as claimed by many? How does it compare to the other mainstream famous earbuds ie Sennheiser momentum, Airpods Pro, Bose, B&O, as many people also claimed those are quite good.
IEM’s will always sound better then wireless earbuds! To me it’s just a gimmick
I am new to high end iem’s but will those work on a iphone x without a dac
Where is the waifu? I am disappoint. ;)
I didnt ship the box to Resolve. :(
Best mids for sure. Not the best overall product (Comfort and Bass suck)
Ok ok I ordered.
Hmmm, I love my Audeze 3 and I did try many of them the Audeze are the best for me.
The cable is just terrible, really bad. Same with the case. I flip flop on how I feel about these a lot. They can be really boring, and really nice+accurate. I'll trust the experts, though, when they say you can't really do better for under a grand.
TLDR: yes, it’s worth it
I got these now. I hate them with a passion
I have the blessing 2 but the treble is sand papery, a bit disappointing. Rest is ok
I dislike blessing 2 only for their huge nozle that hurt my ear...
I wonder how much Andromeda would cost if it was a Chinese company made...✌️ 😆
welcome to the wonder of chi-fi
I think moondrop is the exception and not the rule. Toneking iem I purchased for example was incoherent and congested out of an es100 compared to the jvc fdx1. Not even close
