I love how she competes daring skills like the Podkopayeva. Those skills feel a bit undervalued, so Brooklyn including them in her routines is always a breath of fresh air!
Agreed. Her whole routine seemed undervalued by the CoP. The tumbling is very challenging, the artistry is out of this world. That seems not to matter to the sport anymore.
@@saragrant9749 her tumbling is rewarded, her E score was just a bit low for the sloppy form here and there. But I do think that double doubles are due for a downgrade to G
0:41 That Semenova really put Wevers and Musta on the heels. She is more agressive, but is the only that holds the chest on vertical (unlike Musta) and holds the leg truly backwards (unlike Wevers).
BEAUTIFUL! Wow I just love her gymnastics! I like her choice of music , but she should try interpreting Carmen or Chopan's Nocturne in C minor ( Evgenia Medvedeva figure skating short program music ). She would truly shine !
@Anna Pavfan Has anyone ever used Nocturne in C minor in WAG? I can't think of anyone off the top of my head. But personally I think the first minute Nocturne No.1 incorporated with whatever else she needs to fill the extra 30 seconds would be great for her.
Her style of floor routine should definitely be scored higher. I know it's hard to find the balance between the purely gymnastics skills (i.e. tumbling) and artistry/choreo, but her performances on floor are something I always look forward to. This is definitely one of my favorite floor routines. Plus the music is gorgeous!
She is like a Lilia 2.0 lol. Little low on the second pass and end pass seemed a bit strained and form in the air but she is an amazing prospect. If she cleans up a bit she can contend for a medal, maybe GOLD if she adds a 4th pass full in or double pike. ❤❤❤
Having 4 tumbling passes is not mandatory to reach a solid difficulty score. She just needs to upgrade some of those dance elements. :) I can see many ways she can upgrade her routine for example by adding a double turn out of that perfect Semenova (.1 extra). Or (if it's not a requirement) taking out that split jump 1/1 (C value element) and adding a Memmel+full turn with the leg up (E equivalent series= .2 extra) instead. She looks pretty consistent on turns, she definitely should empasize on this. :) No need to get 4 tumbling passes, that would require more stamina and affect her consistency.
She also needs to add one dance elements higher than B value because her front layout is one of her 8 hardest elements which keeps her D score quite low.
Only real deductions I see are the low chest on Podk, steps on landings, and tens on each tumbling pass for form, tenth on that ring 1/1. 8.033 is harsh. Should be a least .3 tenths higher. And that's me being harsh.
ContractTerminated Judging is especially strict this cycle. I’m actually surprised she got in the 8’s with sloppy landings and obvious form errors on every pass. At world’s she would’ve scored lower.
Z. Wong Hatake she didn’t get a good enough punch for the front full. Had she gone for the full she probably would’ve fallen which I’m sure is the last thing she wanted to do after falling on every other event.
Best choreo I've seen for a while

You cannot deny the grace she has when performing on floor
Just like her sister

She had a rough day today but she definitely shines on floor.
Gorgeous choreography and she moves so well with it. Very balletic!
I would love to see either her or Eythora Thorsdottir win a floor exercise medal @ worlds sometime.
Enjoyable to watch! Choreo is like real dancing, and leaps and tumblings are powerful!
As beautiful as always.
The upgrades are looking good too !!
completely different style then her sister.... and I LOVE IT
My new favorite floor routine!

I love this routine. Looks better than World 2017. Brooklyn is graceful, but this girl is STRONG!
Underscored...

Fabulous!
Thw best floor routine!!!

She could keep that 2/1 front layout to 1/1 front layout. Or better yet switch it for the .2 and clean up her twisting form. Just a thought.

Just gorgeous 😍
Why do I feel like she has almost the similar music as Morgan Hurd
8.033? What?
Kameron Coleman :(
Is the american cup !!! Only overscores to US gymnast ...
Kameron Coleman
8 is nice?!

Form errors in every tumbling pass and landing deductions . Lack of height in the last pass. Beautiful artistry but I don't think she was underscored.
Yes upgrades! 😍
Oh Canada! 🇨🇦
🇨🇦💯🖍️😍Aweeeeesome, but, what happened? I miss the 2 punch 1 front twist 😢 haha =')

The way she opens her eyes at the start right on the music. Detail
underscored
incredible
Where is she from? I live in Alberta.
Her floor routine is beautiful but I wish she would add a fourth pass so she could have a chance to actually have a podium finish.
The First pass 😱
is she victoria moors sister?
yes!
She probably got a one tenth deduction for reajusting her leo while on the podium after her salute
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️❤️
The fact that this had a 8.033, while Maile O'Keefe got a 8.266...
She is such a GORGEOUS Gymnast but definitely needs to work on her consistency
Simone Biles is the icon of a code that does NOT value grace, good taste and elegance.
Come on, show them how to actually dance and perform. ;)
