How about if you played that dual cast on the first turn, which you kept for reasons known only to you? Nah, that would actually play into your idea of killing him with the dark orb. Welp...too bad, that could have been a great run...
NL straight up doesn't under stand that a dual cast is almost always a good play when it comes to lightning orbs. 16 damage. It takes 1 orb 5 turns to do that much damage. If you had 6 focus a dual cast would do 28 damage. It would take 1 orb 3 turns to do that much damage. Now sometimes you want to play a different card and that fine. But playing say a strike over a dual cast (wonder who does that) is trash

It saddens me that this could have been won so easily, but was lost because of a series of bad choices, all of which he should have known about, and when the game gives you such an amazing start, you should try your best to make it pay off. Shame. Still funny though.
Two Seeks and Double Energy had me seriously excited. Get another couple Double Energy and a Thunderstorm and the lightning orbs are insaaaaane. But then, I already know it's a loss, so I'm just sad now
What killed me was when NL played "cool headed" during that Gremlin Nob fight. He literally payed 1 mana to take more damage. The frost orb gains him 2 armor but causes the elite to gain 3 strength (for even more damage since he's vulnerable). I love watching NL misplays usually but that really ruined what could've been a fun run.
23:18 cursed choice. Sunder's the last card you want in your opening hand. Probably will kill him later on. Edit: Yeah it was a contributing factor. Had a hearty chuckle when he picked up Mutagens then Dramatic Entrance to fit the 'archetype'.
@@HeatIcegame Yeah. He should have transformed two cards imo. The extra damage mutagens gives isn't very significant when your opening hand always has Boot Sequence and Sunder in it. I think he wanted to force his deck into killing with early front-loaded damage cards hence the Dramatic Entrance.
Kehvedna I almost always go with the transform 2 option. NL and Rhapsody almost always take The Mutagens. My theory is they love it so much because the graphic reminds them of a three way dildo they are both trying to Jeremiah to sit on with them.
There is a reason. Act two has a pretty good chance of the two thief’s on a fight. So you might as well try to spend your gold before it gets taken away.
Asc 20 likes you when you're tilted. That first run was promising, some other good bits in there, but playing that quickly and trying to hit unlikely home runs isn't going to work.
You'll get there, NL. It's not quick or pretty, admittedly, but you'll get there. I think it's going to be really tough to do with the current shotgun approach, though. Maybe take a breather with some Ascension 15 or something. You seem a bit frazzled.

I don't understand the mutagen when only playing one or two cards that is only 6 extra damage
