they should improve the hero talents and put emphasis on visuals. For most of the hero talents it feels like talents that you only didnt have before bc you were lvl 70 now your lvl 80. They feel like talents from regular talent trees.

If they're really meant to get into more specific class fantasies, they should lean into it and make them look far more interesting.
@@korsekil They're not replacing borrowed power. They're literally just class changes with a slight amount of flavour and choice. These things are baked into their class. They absolutely need to add more flare to the classes that dont have any in their trees even if is just visual. The Pitlord spawning for Warlock, the Ghosts following you around as a Shaman... its fun. It doesn't even need to change the gameplay its just a little cooler. Thats all they need to be.
As a moonkin, I feel I have sucked ever since they changed eclipse into what it is currently. Having to cast the opposite spell of what I currently need to start an eclipse is a huge pita, especially in 5-mans where AoE packs die quick. Sunfire, maybe a starfall if you can afford it, wrath-wrath, starting to cast slow-casting starfire....annnd before the spell goes off the mob you're aiming at is dead, start to cast again, andddd the whole group is dead, and all you really accomplished is a bit of dot damage. No time for even a single nuke spell. Or I can just cast starfire from the start, don't bother with eclipse, and miss out entirely on all of my mastery damage bonus - great option... Ick! Let me use the spell that's appropriate for the moment, just like with every other friggin class in the game. Why do I have to be completely backwards for? :/ Also, moonfire and sunfire are the same fricken spell, why do I need two of them? Go back to just moonfire, make a glyph to turn it golden for those who like that sort of stuff. And make insect swarm a thing again, why not with an animation of you throwing an actual bee's nest at the target (the nest is already in the data files, so why not.) The bees could then attack multiple targets just like sunfire does now, and impact damage on the center target from the nest hitting them. Ok, so no change in functionality, but at least not the same damn visual, and historically accurate too in that we used to have insect swarm. Also, bring back the awesome Legion graphical effect for starfire where you actually see the spell hitting secondary targets. It's like moonkins can never get to have anything nice. They must always suck and feel awkward and get kicked around, it's so depressing. And WHY are we so damn squishy these days? It didn't use to be this way. Awkward-designed glass cannon isn't great gameplay. :/ I wouldn't mind permanent treants to tank for me, that'd be really effin sweet actually. Having to watch over them and heal them if they start to get low on health and balance that out versus the cooldown of the spell to summon up a new batch would be interesting. Maybe they could grow back when out of combat, as long as at least one is still alive.
Empowerments weren’t without flaw, but I think almost all boomies preferred it. My guess is they moved away bc of the class fantasy. Although ffs just give us empowerments and call them something else 😂
Oh man that sounds so fun lol. I assume you play marksman? And then yeah you either become a dark ranger or rain down arcane owls lmao. They should have leaned into the grenades of survival some and gave a hero talent tree that was about grenades and explosives
Man, I love Resto Druid but ... Let's face it, it needs more than just that. The throughput just isn't there for AoE damage and that's clearly not being addressed there.
I came looking for this comment. I was honestly hoping we'd see massive buffs to our HoTs so it feels like we're actually healing something rather than just spamming Regrowth to get any meaningful numbers out.. Oh well, maybe the next expansion Blizzard.
I don’t disagree. I offheal as a resto when one of our healers is late. So I see that issue. But then I play lightsmith holy paladin, and it feels even worse lol. Like 0 aoe healing without Glimmer of Light. Outside of beacon of virtue and spamming holy light lol. And honestly imo herald of the sun doesn’t feel too much better, outside of the crusader cool down. I do alright and even beat our shaman, but I have to sweat lol. Damn evokers, shamans, and holy priests don’t even have to try hard lol
"Changes to the spellslinger talents but its nothing major just splinterstorm no longer applying Winters Chill" as if thats not what the entire frost spec + rotation was based around this xpac like WHAT that is a MASSIVE change
As a Balance druid main i am happy about the changes but am BEGGING for reworks to the Class Tree... There's so much they could do by just adding more connections to nodes to decrease the amount of unwanted talents you have to take for ALL specs. Also thought of them adding a talent for moonkin / cats / resto to allow them to temporarily gain bear level defense in whatever form and the ability to use frenzied rejuv in any form would be HUGE for survivability.
Dude it’s been like that for years. Blizz doesn’t care. I asked them years ago for the same thing and another expansion and no changes. I’m still stuck learning rejuv as a tank and I have used it 0 times. I’m stuck with soothe even though I only use that once every few weeks. I have to skip all the cat weaving abilities because there is no room for it. Horrible class tree but they won’t change it
I just wished the Hero Talents also did something grand for Balance. Instead it just further complicates a rotation that is at the same time boring and overly complicated. We also had Talents at different points that allowed for casting while moving but those were all removed while Evokers for example still get them. I briefly considered playing my Boomkin main again when it was buffed, but my main issues are simply not with the damage output but with the general issues of the gameplay.
Yes. The hero talents are not that great either. We are so squishy all the time no matter what we do. We don't need another dot, we need our eclipse fixed and for the love of everything, can we please have haste gear?! Boomkins talent trees have been broken since Cata.
@@sengelhard2982 I agree. I tried boomkin and hated it which sucks because on paper it sounds so cool but feels so bad to play. Just a weird clunky rotation that isn’t very fun
They need to expand Omen of Clarity to allow you to cast other form spells like Frenzied Regen. I've never really put much time into playing Guardian so I don't know if it's still any good, but Frenzied in Cat Form would cause me to absolutely shit myself in pure excitement. Feral is in desperate need of energy bonuses. Like, please... I hate sitting there for six seconds casting fucking nothing while I pool energy to cast one instance of Ferocious Bite.
I was nervous it would be the de facto meta when it made them and starfall tick 25% faster. And it still may be at 3+ targets. But I’m hoping bc they nerfed it to 15% faster, it won’t be. Pls lol. My brain is already so frazzled, I don’t want to manage a 3rd dot
One day they'll just drop this dog eclilse mechanic and just let us enjoy the other stuff. The majority of annoyance with stellar for me is disrupting the dull eclipse cycle.
one overall aspect i wish blizz would improve on is overall animations (not just battle). some are cool, but a lot of them are very underwhelming to say the least. for example, if youre a 2-handed class, just unsheathing your weapon feels really robotic, and just idling or running w/ that 2-hander looks dumb. you would not run like that if you had a staff or great sword... also, as a shaman main, would be nice if we had more customize options for wolf form, and better animations for casting lightning/chain lightning. just feel like theres a lot that can be done to improve immersion, but its just gone by the wayside
100%. They need to get balance and tuning “close enough” and then revamp visuals and just themes and stuff. I’ve mentioned the awkward animations of being a ret paladin with a 2 hander so many times haha. Especially if you use a polearm. Some animations have needed updates for ages. Like wtf is mistweaver’s revival. That’s their big bombastic CD and it does NOTHING. The animation is arguably worse than renewing mist lol. Lightning bolt for shaman has seen some love, but for me still looks like spaghetti.
Blizzard could make eclipse a toggable stance. Sunstance for single target and Moonstance for AOE with Wrath and Starfire respectively. I think that would be pretty good.
@@Overlyopinionated-wl8jqHoly paladin design is to either use your power and cds on damage or support and that’s how it’s been for a while. It gives you choice. You don’t have to use shield of the righteous just like you don’t have to use wings to maximise damage
They need to do something about solo Delve balance. It is a joke how hard I have to fight in a T8 with my Enhancement Shaman while my tank twinks (and Demo WL) just roll through them with ease. Heck, my Druide just reached lvl 80 two hours ago and while watching this video on the second screen I did a T8 delve solo with her as Bear with ilvl 570 ... got a Guardian weapon :)
Yeah I hate how in forums people are arguing about how easy or hard delves are, as if all classes are made equal lol. Balance is my main this season, and if have my major CDs ready, the damage is insane and everything melts. But if I don’t have them, I melt haha.

I like how as Deathbringer DK my cool new visual is just basically a improved visual used for an old spell DKs used to have which I think is now a Frost talent or something.👍 Hero talents have zero class fantasy effect for me on this character. Deathbringer's visual is just a beefed up version of Frostscythe. But also it's an oxymoron in a way anyway since DKs & DHs are *Hero* classes, so technically all their talents are Hero talents./s
Ugh, yes. Just... I despise the Eclipse mechanic. Stopped maining Druid because of it. I wish it was just a Cooldown that automatically changed your Wrath, Starsurge, Moonfire, and Starfall, giving them additional effects like Demon Hunter's metamorphosis does to their base spells.
Seeing your spells change icons and gain a glowy gold border is what every fucking class froths at the mouth for. That's what Druid needs. Cool ass spells that gain new effects whenever Eclipse is active. I don't play Boomkin and I never have but I really would consider it if they had something like that. Even if it didn't offer anything statistically better, and just offered something to spice up gameplay, I'd take that over nothing. Like making Moonfire change to "Moonflare: Deals all of Moonfire's damage instantly, and reapplies Moonfire"
Shadowstep is gone from Outlaw and now we have two charges of an ability that is 50/50 on if it'll work or not....great. Also, out of all the problems and bugs that rogues are facing right now, Thistle Tea wasn't one of them. This feels like they're making changes for the sake of making changes when all they need to do is fix all of these fucking bugs on the class...
I disagree about the change of "Splinterstorm will no longer generate winter's chill" being minor. This is actually huge! One of the huge problems with Frost Mage (as a person who's been playing it since Legion) is that the Splinterstorm generating winter's chill has led to a gameplay style that requires a weak aura to predict the possibility of a Splinter Storm coming and has made the spec become all about Ice Lance spam! If you don't play with the Weak Aura it's actually a 20% damage decrease, because it's all about finding out if your next GCD should be ice lance, or if you can fit in another spell cast. Manather's guide on Frost Mage speaks about this completely. This has been a very bad play style that a majority of Frost Mages have hated and have caused some of my favorite guide creators to switch off the spec to Arcane. It's extremely unfun and shows how the class design for frost can easily fall behind. I love your guys' videos, but no one seems to be standing up for us frost mages.
I love how at 12:00 he sweeps a pretty big nerf for Frost Spellslinger under the Rug. Generating and comsuming as many Winter's Chills (and FoF) as possible is the major thing you play around. Having Splinterstorm no longer give you extra Winter's Chills to consume, which plant more Frost Splinters, which in turn reset Frozen Orb for more Fingers of Frost proccs will cost us quite some dps. Fire&Frost still needs big help to keep up with Arcane currently. Frostfire Hero Talents also need some help to keep up with Spellslinger and Sunfury. We are getting closer to a good Mage, but still far from "perfect".
True, he also said that hunters are left in ”quite a good place” BM hunters were essentially nerfed 20% in ST dps and got a 4% boost to AoE.. it became a meme
Shaman is getting close to being really good, I hope they prune more buttons and make more things passive, like they did with paladins and mages. Too many buttons at the moment.
They really can't get themselves aligned for what they want balance to be. I feel like they have done these reworks over and over with the same results.

This. Omg this. Still haven't given DH to any other races (orc and draenei would fit the lore, void elves and night borne would fit the existing models) and we're still very low on the charts in terms of damage, especially since they seem to want us to weave high risk movement into long fights, and imolati9n aura just doesn't do enough damage for a global cooldown, but is required in order to use most other abilities. What I'd change? Eyebeam now refills your fury, like it used to. Immolation aura is now off GCD. And we need an alternative to threading felrush/retreat for buffs.
Paladins were favorite children if you dps. If you tank you got to watch a lot of fights from the vantage point of the floor because they are squishy as hell. But hopefully the buff they gave them will help with that. I main a brewmaster and it is rough taking on my pally alt
As nice as a lot of the Paladin changes are, they do practically nothing to change the problems that Prot is having right now. I’m really hoping they have a few more changes in store for Prot before the patch comes out.
I'm surprised they didn't comment on this, especially with how in-depth they got with other specs. While Paladin overall feels pretty good, Prot has some significant survivability issues that these changes won't address.
"Mistweaver also gets good stuff" - nerfed fistweaver. Add a casted spell into a dps/heal rotation. So now its going to be awkward and clumsy again... Great...
Your comprehension is bad dude. Part of Ancient Teachings is constant now, and gets buffed by stomp or tea. The Crackling Jade Lightning won't really be rotational as it's not always smart to use tea on damage. Besides we're casting a bit anyway because of the Ox shield incentivizing EM hardcasts being woven into the rotation. It's almost like that's the whole class fantasy.
Its a overall nerf, its not even that we got another nerf... and we are lowest tier. Beside that they buff the best healer... what a shitshow. Complain more in forum Blizzard dont plays its own game and dont know shit.
@@Ne1vaana fistweaver often uses it on EM or RSK. So instead of using it on RSK we now can use CJL. With more damage and aoe? That's one nice deal. Overall healthroughput should stay the same. @@dass86 the worst thing that comes to mind the last time DH got attention was the reduction in the amount of baseline Leach and Leach gained from Metamorphosis. I went from emergency tank to floor decoration overnight. Bliz likes to nerf more often than buff, so avoiding that kind of whiplash by being forgotten is relatively nice.
To be fair after DH being so dominant for the entirety of DF ,be it in arenas, MM+ or other content , it is only fair for them to get the silence treatment
Mountain thane needs some love too, at least statistically. It's fun, but too much of its damage is up to chance and its average single target damage needs a buff.
They haven't changed the structure of unholy at all. A few new abilities in the new talent tree that were covenant powers/legendary weapon powers but the spec plays almost exactly the same as it did in the Legion-BFA era. The DK community told them how to fix the major issues and they ignored us. Hope you warriors fare better in 10.0.7.
warriors are about to get gutted even more because they performed unusually well on aoe in some fights while having the most abismal single target known to mankind
I've hated the dragonflight arms talents since day one, so many mortal strike refresh talents that are worthless. I'd wish they change Battlelord to the shadowlands conduit for mortal strike to have a chance to hit twice or something. Anger management is cool and all but has just made our damage outside Colossus smash feel terrible and CS feels less impactful. Shadowlands might have been hates by many but the feel arms back then while extremely simple felt good with cd overlap with Kyrian spear.
Adding to ret paladins the ability to convert mana into holy power charges would be COOL!!! so that divine storm can be casted with rogues near or to get Faith's Armor before the fight
Frost mages need some love yet again to help their class fantasy... Fire and Arcane have very engaging and interesting hero talents. Frost just has more frost... Spell slinger just makes more frozen orbs, Frostfire re adds an old visual to your frostbolt and make your comet storm have an extra meteor but it doesn't mater when your rotation is 85% ice lance which is tier enforced. There's no big oh dang, look at that button for them.
I still just want my Frostscythe back. In a world where talent points can be A or B, I see zero reason that they couldn't have left in the real cleave. A slight buff would have been nice as well, but I can settle with just simply being able to play my favorite spec the way I want to even if it's not technically 'best'.
Things like slice and dice could literally just be passives at this point. Everyone complains about button bloat etc, just make necessary self buffs passive, or baseline to the class.
hoping my main (BM hunter) won't do such low damage that i'm embarrassed to do group content in 11.5 anymore. I pretty much dropped it and made an Earthen Dwarf army during 11.0
Healing in higher Mythic+ just feels like I'm taking up space most of the time. People rarely need any healing, and when they die it's due to them getting one-shot. I miss when it felt like I was actually making a difference with my healing.
Hey, new Rogue here -- ran assassination as that is what I played in Cata -- much has changed since. The class feels a bit bloated in comparison -- I think one of my biggest gripes is the requirement of vanish in the rotation. Absolute joke for solo play! I have reset or screwed myself with vanish too many times...
For assassination, if they don't address the issue of being able to get back into stealth during chain pulling dungeons, its still a feel bad spec for most players doing that kind content. Really using shadow step needs to reduce the CD on vanish or something.
I had something resembling an aneurysm when I saw the Crackshot changes for Between the Eyes refreshing in stealth. I hated doing world content and sitting, waiting for 15 seconds for BtE to come off cooldown so I could spam it for resets out of stealth. Easily my favorite part of playing Outlaw is getting Crit Resets on BtE out of stealth to just spam it over and over for a fucking wicked catastrophic damage opener.
For me, the big issue with hero talents is how for some specs they seriously affect gameplay/rotation, and for others they don't. In my opinion, none of the hero talents trees should have caused changes in rotation for any spec, but Blizz just love changing how shit works to give an illusion of the game feeling fresh and new. let me make a build and master it please. Don't fuck with my rotation and talents every couple of months thanks.
For quite a few people simpler rotation means less fun... And it is not just the tryhards... Getting better at your class with every dungeon/raid is a very rewarding feeling... Which is hard to have if rotations are so simple that they do not pose a challenge to master
It aint so much the complexity but the pacing that does it for me. Sure they all feel ok on a target dummy but when rubber hits the road, it all goes into the fan. But i suspect this is a side effect of designing the classes from the top down instead of from the bottom up.
They don't NEED to be, and not all of them are. Some specs are more complex because there are a lot of specs in the game and some people enjoy a well designed spec that has an emphasis on complexity. For me, that class is preservation evoker. I wouldn't want them to simplify it at all
This video is NOT accurate at all for Prot Pally. This has done nothing to fix the huge issues with baseline durability and the terrible sustain the spec now has following the tank changes.
@Paladin: Such a big change, I need to get my hands on it with each spec to say for sure what's going on here, but overall it looks like a whole page of winners to my eyes.
The closest to having an actual visual hero talents is warlocks with their Legion demons it's always sick to see a big ass demon to appear and just got nutty
I guess after the rework of Paladin in DF, they still kept the paladin class designer, but the Druid one that left around or before DF launched, well, no replacement for them
The changes to rogues is way too few. Thistle Tea is actually a bad thing. Echoing Reprimand doesn't actually improve anything anyone had any real issue with. And the slice and dice change is quite odd... You'll still need slice on your bar because only certain finishers proc CttC... Additionally none of these really fix the issue of a lot of things on the class being complex for complexities sake...
Yeah I don't like this thistle tea change for assassination. There are periods I go energy poor but I'm between kingsbane windows. I'd rather have a thistle tea ready to pop when I'm in kingsbane rather than it auto-popping during my off cooldown periods.
not sure why so many think boomkin is bad right now, seems to be doing pretty well single target and aoe with the m+ build, does have quiet a few defensives , rivival, bark skin, enraged regen, the instant cast regrowth procs that give damage reduction while its on you, and you have a disengage, and considering how easy the rotation is managing eclipes isnt hard either
@@alistairknightsly440 you make good points, but I don’t think all are. I don’t play a perfect game, upper blues, sometimes a purple parse here and there. But I never out dps the gray parsing ret paladin. That’s an issue lol. I don’t need to feel rewarded, but I certainly don’t want to feel punished for my class choice. It definitely needs some more tuning. Also, insanely squishy, with *no* defensives. Barkskin is entirely too long of a CD for its piddly damage reduction, and going into bear form for frenzied is *not* okay as a defensive. You lose all your dps, and no other class has to do that. Even mages can now keep casting in their ice block lol. I do like the damage reduction from regrowth procs, but that’s not “on demand,” which makes it not a reliable defensive cd. Also the damage reduction isn’t that much, AND sacrifices a global CD, so less damage. Starfall being baseline will thankfully address this, but having to switch talents because we are all aoe or all single target is so damn annoying, and was fixed with other classes like ret paladin. I do love Boomkins wild charge lol. If they ever removed that or increased the CD, I think I would cry.
It's a nerf for hunters, at least for BM. Longer CD on cobra = less kill command procs = losing your main spec ability. No one cares about renaming killshot to deathblow.
Templar isn't even a little bit good in pvp. Even tho it's a single target. Hol often misses. Somtimes doesn't even hit over 600k . While playing sun a multi target spec. I'm doing hits harder then my hammer of light with hammer of wrath
the prob with the shaman changes honestly is the nerf of removing flash lightning or what ever, where it reduces cd's the jump puts their utility so low. thei rutility wa shigh because of short cd's and also what made it fun was short cd's on damage cd's that are fun to play with. so unless ancestors get a big buff to make up for their massively reduced uptime, farseer is deaddddddd.
warriors need some love as well, they got gutted for no reason. yes they performed well on some aoe fights but for example: fury's single target is abismal while other specs are shining on both sustain single target and aoe. sometimes im falling behind the tank in heavy aoe in m+ in slayer spec bc i dont have all of my cooldowns up from the previous pack. meanwhile picking thane means my single target is gonna be even worse, meanwhile aoe won't get any better
Does anyone at Blizzard actually work on Demon Hunters? The Class remains largely without any creative change since it came out? The class flavour of our Hero Talents is just completely limp without anything to get excited about (no one wants a special set of talents build around throwing a glaive) It just appears like a class that blizzard has no idea what to do with? Small tweaks every now and then just to say “look we did something” while other classes are receiving complete reworks with creative and flavourful changes. I can’t be the only one that feels this way?
You are not the only one. I'm very irked about the state of our class, the fact it's still only on two races, the fact it's one of the lowest damage DPS specs, the fact that we get such a benefit for crit that we can't use haste and we're fury starved most of the time, even with IA. I hate that I need fury to use my dang glaive throw when I should be opening with it. I hate that there's a tiny reason to use felrush in combat, and that using it is extremely high risk on so many encounters. I hate that our self healing is basically nil (even rogues get a better heal), 😂 so much irritation with the class right now.
Why don't they just give you a whole new spell when you enter an eclipse. Or transform Wrath or starfire to be a new spell (even if functionally its the same). Easy way to make eclipse feel more impactful Also thank god they are giving more passes for their favorite mage child definately not other classes in more need of work. I'm sure they'll make more changes it's just interesting to see
Literally balance Druid had every spell become a talent point and it’s just broken my whole love for boomkin, the damage is horrendous and the lack of intimacy with my cooldowns are just unavailable so I’m hoping this rework will add more flow to the class.
Why would they want to change wrath and starfire from the main damage dealing spells aside from star surge.. THEN FOCUS ON LESS AOE FOR THE CLASS??? Does this make any sense to anyone else???
Paladin and Rogue changes are welcome, but I wish they would make Outlaw a bit more enjoyable. The spec has always relied too much on good Roll the Bones RNG, which is a bit annoying.
Tbh playing VDH feels super good. All the tier lists that put DH tank in anything but S or high A are wild and either don’t play the class or know very little about it.The amount of healing DH can do comes close if not identical to BDK but they don’t have to drop low in HP to get the heals out making healers panic a lot less.VDH has wild utility too,Darkness alone is god mode if coordinated right. I can’t speak oh Havoc as I didn’t play it much because I didn’t really need to,solo delves and world quests as VDH just fine pulling at least x6 scarecrow mobs for light the braziers world quest and just see them melt with 578ilvl gear is super satisfying and now with 607ilvl is a joke.
Yet they still havent fixed deathstalkers mark. It only applies to the "active" target. So if you use action targeting and you have another mob still manually targeted while action targeting picks the next mob in front of you and you ambush form stealth...it wont apply deathstalkers mark. It ONLY works when the target is activly targeted.
Saddened by the current state of San’Layn for Blood DK. It’s totally worse than Deathbringer in every way and requires you to play the spec sub-optimally. If anything needs a complete rework, that’s it. You would think they’d nail San’Layn for Blood considering it’s the most thematic hero concept imaginable.
“yeah, give us dark ranger animation wings, we don’t care that we don’t have AoE and cannot do simple M+” said no BM hunter ever. I missed how these changes are buffs and moving out the BM from D tier M+ DPS.

I don’t understand why balance druid moved away from the legion play style. The spec currently feels like it’s fighting against itself.
One could say it''s out of balance 😆
Went from fighting burning legion demons to inner demons
Also, moonfire and sunfire are the same fricken spell, why do I need two of them?
Because Blizzard loves the Eclipse mechanic even though most players hate it.
Hunter class fantasy still sucks for a dwarven riflemen

Yep I'm a restro drood main.
I swear if blizz forces me into hard casting stellar flare and be a multi-dot boomkin, I will LOSE IT
This! 100%
The majority of annoyance with stellar for me is disrupting the dull eclipse cycle.
one overall aspect i wish blizz would improve on is overall animations (not just battle). some are cool, but a lot of them are very underwhelming to say the least. for example, if youre a 2-handed class, just unsheathing your weapon feels really robotic, and just idling or running w/ that 2-hander looks dumb. you would not run like that if you had a staff or great sword...
also, as a shaman main, would be nice if we had more customize options for wolf form, and better animations for casting lightning/chain lightning. just feel like theres a lot that can be done to improve immersion, but its just gone by the wayside
custom options for totems would be huge
@@FelixWoebkenberg custom options for ANYTHING that CAN be customizable would be huge

Or they could do what they did in Legion and scrap Eclipse entirely. It's never been a fun mechanic.
For holy paladins, I think they should remove shield of righteousness and make light of dawn deal damage
YES. I hate hate hate spending my hp on shield of righteousness. It feels bad. And as far as I know other healing specs don’t have to do that.

Hero talents have zero class fantasy effect for me on this character.
Like making Moonfire change to "Moonflare: Deals all of Moonfire's damage instantly, and reapplies Moonfire"
it's the reason I won't touch druid. it's so gross feeling....
Shadowstep is gone from Outlaw and now we have two charges of an ability that is 50/50 on if it'll work or not....great. Combat rogue for 20 years. Rogues rarely get some help
@@TheThelonelygnome Agreed, I tend to retire my rogue until the end of an expansion where all of a sudden we become a BIS dps class for a few months
I agree with this. Frost mage as a core is just being left behind imo in both engaging gameplay and class fantasy.
True, he also said that hunters are left in ”quite a good place”
BM hunters were essentially nerfed 20% in ST dps and got a 4% boost to AoE.. it became a meme

To be fair after DH being so dominant for the entirety of DF ,be it in arenas, MM+ or other content , it is only fair for them to get the silence treatment
Druids´biggest problem is class tree, without that completely reworked no singular spec is going to be better.
Warrior, especially arms, is incredibly dated..
Stop complaining. Look what they did to Hunters.
I keep forgetting to use it, and then realizing that I've been killing things fine and it probably doesn't really matter...
You made me think there was more to pallys by putting the ad read in that section. Despicable.

It's right where it should be... It's incredibly easy to play. Even as far as Hunter goes. It hasn't earned higher than average DPS
Healing in higher Mythic+ just feels like I'm taking up space most of the time. People rarely need any healing, and when they die it's due to them getting one-shot. I miss when it felt like I was actually making a difference with my healing.

moving talents around is not a "Total Rework".
A rework would be giving all affected classes a new mechanic, while removing one.
Alright bro… that sponsor transition was the cleanest pull I’ve ever seen.
Soooo by Druid changes, you mean only Balance.
Here we go again. Why do rotations need to be more complex/difficult? Simpler does not equal worse, unless you talk to the trihards.
For quite a few people simpler rotation means less fun... And it is not just the tryhards... Getting better at your class with every dungeon/raid is a very rewarding feeling... Which is hard to have if rotations are so simple that they do not pose a challenge to master
Brewmaster Blackout Combo: "Hold my beer."
It aint so much the complexity but the pacing that does it for me. Sure they all feel ok on a target dummy but when rubber hits the road, it all goes into the fan. But i suspect this is a side effect of designing the classes from the top down instead of from the bottom up.
@@manicmonarch2608better yet, it's because of this BM is the BEST tank class lmao
They don't NEED to be, and not all of them are. Some specs are more complex because there are a lot of specs in the game and some people enjoy a well designed spec that has an emphasis on complexity.
For me, that class is preservation evoker. I wouldn't want them to simplify it at all
I'm so happy our paladin class tree is getting the good fucking it needed
No shadow priest buffs. Unbelievable.
Shadow needs better baseline stats, we always start off weak but then are pretty good by the end of the expansion.
You mean PRIEST buffs or reworks
They are getting dmg buffs on several abilities. Especially void weaver
That transition to square space tho
I guess after the rework of Paladin in DF, they still kept the paladin class designer, but the Druid one that left around or before DF launched, well, no replacement for them
The changes to rogues is way too few. Thistle Tea is actually a bad thing. Echoing Reprimand doesn't actually improve anything anyone had any real issue with. And the slice and dice change is quite odd... You'll still need slice on your bar because only certain finishers proc CttC...
Additionally none of these really fix the issue of a lot of things on the class being complex for complexities sake...
It's way more complex now with Thistle Tea. It was easy to just macro it before.
Yeah I don't like this thistle tea change for assassination. There are periods I go energy poor but I'm between kingsbane windows. I'd rather have a thistle tea ready to pop when I'm in kingsbane rather than it auto-popping during my off cooldown periods.
That was a seamless plug for your sponsor. Brilliant job 😁
not sure why so many think boomkin is bad right now, seems to be doing pretty well single target and aoe with the m+ build, does have quiet a few defensives , rivival, bark skin, enraged regen, the instant cast regrowth procs that give damage reduction while its on you, and you have a disengage, and considering how easy the rotation is managing eclipes isnt hard either
No one cares about renaming killshot to deathblow.
paladin changes are awful for holy they feel like pvp talents thrown into the class tree
Templar isn't even a little bit good in pvp. Even tho it's a single target. Hol often misses. Somtimes doesn't even hit over 600k . While playing sun a multi target spec. I'm doing hits harder then my hammer of light with hammer of wrath
One of the reasons I don't have my druid stay in boomkin long is the whole eclipse system, it's pretty tedious
the prob with the shaman changes honestly is the nerf of removing flash lightning or what ever, where it reduces cd's the jump puts their utility so low. thei rutility wa shigh because of short cd's and also what made it fun was short cd's on damage cd's that are fun to play with. so unless ancestors get a big buff to make up for their massively reduced uptime, farseer is deaddddddd.
Im so glad that aoe Doom Winds is back
warriors need some love as well, they got gutted for no reason. yes they performed well on some aoe fights but for example: fury's single target is abismal while other specs are shining on both sustain single target and aoe. sometimes im falling behind the tank in heavy aoe in m+ in slayer spec bc i dont have all of my cooldowns up from the previous pack. meanwhile picking thane means my single target is gonna be even worse, meanwhile aoe won't get any better
boomkin lack of defense flat out sucks, especially for more casual players.
When are they going to allow Holy Priest to not run out of mana before everyone else? That would be nice.
Does anyone at Blizzard actually work on Demon Hunters? The Class remains largely without any creative change since it came out? The class flavour of our Hero Talents is just completely limp without anything to get excited about (no one wants a special set of talents build around throwing a glaive)
It just appears like a class that blizzard has no idea what to do with?
Easy way to make eclipse feel more impactful
Also thank god they are giving more passes for their favorite mage child definately not other classes in more need of work. I'm sure they'll make more changes it's just interesting to see
yeah i was just thinking, what more could be done to keep shamans at the top of raid heals.
All we need now is for pack leader to be made good... and fun.... and anything more than what it is right now which is noring, unimpactful passives
Does this make any sense to anyone else???
rip boomkin
Shaman is in a good spot. If they bring a tank spec to the game it will be a dream…
Boomkin fix? When you proc eclipse it applies that spell type dot to all targets (i.e. lunar procs moonfire)
They really need to change Arcane Missles back to the way it was. Not locked behind Clear Casting. I hate it.
Yeah. Some of us aren't tanks tho.😂
Still waiting for the day holy and disc priest actually get an interrupt
The new Paladin class tree might be great for prot and ret and it is abysmal for holy
sham chnages are dope just wish theyd give us an extra wall charge or somthing for pve
What is that Paladin like set in that Thumbnail? also need more love for the Templar Paladin !
Fire mage is still utterly dwarfed by ice in pvp and second to arcane in pve. Meaning it still needs tuning.
As long as they dont weaken or alienate the spec too much, then I am here for it
Ofc :D paladin got a another rework while priest healer dont even get a silence :D
If priests got a kick or silence they would be beyond broken in pvp:D
I wish they didn't, most of the class tree changes are doo doo and seem pvp orientated. Ruined it.
They're also nerfing warriors into the ground making the entire situation Dire Bellular.
Marksman feels like being epicly nerfed with this...
“yeah, give us dark ranger animation wings, we don’t care that we don’t have AoE and cannot do simple M+” said no BM hunter ever. I missed how these changes are buffs and moving out the BM from D tier M+ DPS.
Unless you're a Priest.
Hmm I've heard conflicting things about paladin. Guess we'll have to see
Good paladins have been the red headed stepchild for a long time
Isn't Hunter also getting a 300% buff to multishot damage? Which BM definitely needs and is welcomed.
