Well, it gets annoying when he reacts, then plays for 1 second, then pauses and says the same thing again. Ok, we heard you the first time, get some time in the song and then react again when there's at least a bit more to add to it.
Apparently 338 people are idiots. You lose a lot of the performance when you pause every two seconds. That’s not how this was meant to be listened to. If you’re not properly listening, how could you properly react in a REACTION. No one wants him to be silent, we’re here to listen to what he has to say. But if you can’t deal with the slightest bit of criticism than maybe its you that should go watch something else

Makoto Kazuki What else do you want him to say? They’re hitting the notes constantly throughout the whole performance and pulling everything off very well so what else do you expect Tristan to say?
Alan Guenley Well how do you know he didn’t actually listen to it properly already? He sometimes replays something or rewatches a video to re-listen. Pausing a little bit here and there isn’t gonna do as much damage as you say. Its just a simple reaction video, you don’t need everything to be accurate and perfect as heck. He’s still listening without pausing for most parts of the video and giving his opinions on their vocal performance. How do you expect him to talk and give his opinions while the video is playing?
Miley and Shawn definitely need to sing a duet in the future. Their voices mix so well together!!!

I love both Miley and Ariana, I didn’t mean to disrespect Ariana; I said that because Ariana’s song and Miley’s version are really different to me, Miley added her own style and tones, she didn’t simply cover it or tried to copy Ariana’s style, she sang it to fit her voice and style; but I guess people are quickly to point out the negative instead of thinking it might be something positive🙃

Many people were like "Miley and Shawn's performance was so boring" *cough billboard cough* but I thought it was vocally one of the best, one of the most genuine, it was focused on the music instead of the show and still managed to be stunning and memorable. Both of their voices were amazing, regarding Shawn it was by far the best performance of In my blood he has, in my opinion, and not being like a huge fan of Miley I thought her voice was just amazing and beautiful. Those high notes they gave us were on point, I'm just waiting for the collab in Miley's album because after seeing this I can only expect it to be good

I think they are saying that because Miley and Shawn were focusing on the music and what the song is about, not on a big show. What really makes a performance great is how well the artists sing the song and not how well they dance or anything like that.
Miley and Shawn did a great job and in my opinion that was the best performance of the night, I was stunned when I first listened to it and I still am every time I hear it!

Shawn Mendes was really good and improved so much. He used to not be the strongest live performer. But Miley seriously killed it in this performance and at the Grammys in general. I forgot she could actually sing. I was so impressed when she came out in this performance
Shawn has always been an incredible live singer, but he has definitely gained lots of stage presence and is more comfortable on stage now.
