3 years ago i heard one song from Celldweller and i only for a moment saw a name. i searched Dweller in Cell and similar things for 3 years, and this morning finally found the real name :D
About 3 years ago I stumbled upon Celldweller's Ursa Minor in a fan-made Evangelion AMV, I liked it enough to check out Celldweller's other stuff and have been listening it him ever since.
When I was 19, my first job was a cart pusher at Walmart in the delightful 110°F heat. This song i distinctly remember blasting on repeat the day i got heat stroke lmao. This song hits my nostalgia knob just right
Klayton is a your favorite GigaChad's favorite GigaChad. The guy has multiple music projects, a record company, and works out enough to be jacked into his 50's.
This is "halftime Drum & Bass" known as "Drumstep". This tune is around 170 BPM, dubstep is obviously around 140 BPM. Get The facts right people. But anyway.. this is maybe the best tune i have heard in 2012. Big up Celldweller for twisting and turning the electronic music genre!
i have been hearing the celldweller songs for more than 6 years... still loving each one of them :3 i don't know what does he have but it make you feel great when you hear him :D
OMG THE FIRST SOUND WAS JUST AWESOME, THIS SONG IS PURE GENIUS...i honestly got goose bumps listening to this song. Amazing Song and from what i have listen to an amazing Album. Klayton has truly went beyond the boundaries and made this album one hell of a great Piece of work he has worked on.
That rare intersection of electronica and rock. Done well enough that I actually don't feel like it's violated. The last time I heard a band with such smooth transitions, it was either Pink Floyd or Daft Punk.
Oh yeah, it definitely happens with every Celldweller song. I thought Eon was 'pretty good' at first, now I think it's beyond amazing. But there's just something about this song for me...every single time I listen to it, it's like the sheer energy and raw, universe-defying badass-ness increases one hundred-fold, and will never stop.
Where can I find more songs that match this level of energy? I have listened to most of Klayton's discography, and most songs are amazing, but this, this is on another level.
The only problem I have is that during my fights my headphones fall out and my enemies have to wait until I plug them back in... It's kind of embarrassing
It's a little more imaginative than music out now. It's a story being told-not in one song of course but through the course of the album. Ya know something you don't have to be high to be able to picture something extraordinary.
Dude, I just invented that term a couple months ago from people talkin' crap on dubstep :P I shared with them, the awesomeness of Klaystep and they shut up.
I laugh at kids that think Celldweller copies Skrillex, dubstep is a genre. When Celldweller makes a dubstep song, he is showing to the world what the genre is at its best.
I had heard shapeshifter before but got back into your music as more than "just another song" when ik heard this song in a video of beat saber I was watching
skrillex n every other dubstep have they're own unique qualities. Celldweller does so much more with his skill, iv listened to all his stuff n as he progress he changes his music he pushes every genre to theyre point n mashes it with something totally new.. most people play it safe these days n get the same beats, this isnt dubstep or rock or even techno... its Celldweller :) thats how fucking amazing this guy is, if something is totally off the wall with beat .. its gotta be klayton behind it !
Whatever he becomes is up to him and what he likes, but so long as he keeps on making what he likes then it's more than alright with me. I personally don't care too much about screamo either, but that too is also emulated well by Celldweller. Even if this kind of sound is somewhat stereotypical, it's also still pretty good at the same time. Sure I find that most artists abuse it nowadays, but there's always a balance and great lyrics with this man.
al though i agree with you on the "judging music by genre part" it always looks like we have reached the ending of weirdness in music genres. believe me, there will be new genres more weirder and we will probably not understand it, but our next generation will.
i still remember when i used one of his songs in a crysis 3 beta video and he knew about it asap and thought it was cool, what a legend this man use to be and still is, was back when PC graphics cards were in the GTX 500 series so yall know how old that was
Celldweller, Blowing minds since late 1990s.
since scandroid
circle of dust and argyle park existed from the early to mid 90s
Since early 90s too listen to circle of dust
Where has this artist been all my life?!?!
I know right!

I heard his music in Deadrising 2 and I got hooked from there
Bumped into scandroid by accident and comments lead me here.
I can't believe it's been long enough to feel nostalgic from this

And here we are 10 years later!

Klayton has defined his own genre. Unmatchable.

D'n'B+DubStep+Metal=AWESOMENESS!
This is far beyond boundaries of any genre.
Celldweller is a beast. He managed to get togheter Dubstep, Drum and Bass, Rock, and it's totally amazing!
Klayton is a your favorite GigaChad's favorite GigaChad. The guy has multiple music projects, a record company, and works out enough to be jacked into his 50's.
IMO, this song is a prime example of how well sounds usually of dubstep and drum & bass can amalgamate.
Agreed. Music is evolving past the bounds of genre, and becoming defined by the artist. As it should be

its a mix of dubstep and metal, its called metalstep, korn may have worked with skrillex, but klayton is the true inventor of metalstep
klayton is the genre consumer. no genre is enough for him, and no amount of his music is enough for me
WOOO! going through SPACE and TIME
klayton is just too good at mixxing different styles of music to make amazing songs
Where can I find more songs that match this level of energy? I have listened to most of Klayton's discography, and most songs are amazing, but this, this is on another level.
It doesn’t have guitars or lyrics, but I’d recommend some of billain’s work. This song reminded me of billain & vorso - transhumanist
I've heard this on TV but I honestly didn't know it Celldweller. Wow awesome song!
celldweller - the best
I'm twelve, and i love celldweller no matter what.
thanks rechyy for making me discover this in the first place, and thanks to myself for randomly remembering it 5 years later
you did say that this album has dubstep written all over it. however, the dubstep part is only a small portion of the album
theyre both great
Wow! Great song. Got me pumped up! >:)

I cannot un-hear that now. Damn you!
I don't know why but the sound starting at 0:43 reminds me of Mass Effect for some reason heh, may be because it sounds futuristic :P
