6:48 I feel like this moment doesn’t get the credit it deserves. Look how far April has come. You can tell she really cares about Leslie. And the way she lets Leslie rest her head on hers.
This was the most wholesome show I've seen and it's by far my favourite show ever. It's just like prozac television; the characters where great, respectful for each other, breathtaking friendships that blossomed, hilarious and quirky situations and all in a good spirit. I hope everybody has their own Leslie Knope in their life, or can be the Leslie Knope towards others
it’s funny how this show was in the beginning. i feel like the writers really tried to make it like the office but it just didn’t work at all. they tried to make tom kind of like jim in the first episodes and they made leslie kind of like a michael scott but more work motivated. i love how this show evolved into its own and how it’s characters did. i feel bad for the people who stopped watching after season 1 because they didn’t like it. i feel like if those people watched the seasons after they’d really like it. it’s been my favorite for about 6 years now idk what i would do without it.
Best is Leslie meeting Andy because that's when April meets Andy and she can't look away. Oh, and I truly love the National Forest in Pawnee, Indiana featuring hills higher than those ants can build.
Leslies hair made a huge difference lol it was so yellow and fake looking at the beginning. Now it’s more soft/natural looking and really brightens up her face
2 things. First, why did Ann come to a parks dept meeting to get the pit fixed? It’s clearly not an issue for a parks and rec dept. I get that Leslie was trying to make it a park, but why would Ann even think for a second that parks should handle it? Second, there is no way that city zoning would’ve allowed for a condo complex in the middle of a neighborhood. No city would allow that. To be clear, PaR is one of the best shows of all time, and I don’t actually care that those things don’t make sense. I was just wondering
@@rickeyvinluan2529 I’m not familiar with the actual Parks and rec department in real life but didn’t Ann come to the meeting because parks and rec deals with parks?
@V-Rex Yeah, but parks and recreation to my knowledge deals with open spaces like pits. I could be wrong though, every time I try to research it, it only comes up with things from the show so you may be right.
I love how Leslie met Andy bc it's also how Andy and April met, and both of those relationships started with Leslie and April watching Andy shove a gross, probably sweaty stick into his cast.
Those moments when something great ends, you don't always realize it right away. But looking back that moment in time was just special. Those people, in that place, at that time made everyday suck just a bit less.
I’m disappointed they didn’t include the scene when Anne and Chris come back for the finale and Leslie is like "Ann’s here!" and hugs her for 10 minutes.

I think she was desperate enough that when she heard that a meeting was coming up, she wanted to talk to an actual person about it, or heard about Leslie’s determination beforehand.
I love Leslie telling April that she can’t and won’t tell her she should have kids. It’s one of the biggest signs of her growth… And I love that it immediately cuts to Leslie walking into April’s hospital room and demanding to see the baby she has already decided is her godchild. Because the more people change, the more they stay the same.
While PARKS & REC was much like its predecessor, if you skip the first season you miss the opportunity to watch it grow into its own showcase of talent. I watched the entire series over the course of a few months and was pleasantly surprised how much story they packed into those initial six episodes. Don't skip them because they're not as good; watch them so you can see it evolve.
2 things i wanted to see from parks and rec was for 1. April forgiving ann for kissing andy when april finally tells ann that she loves her. 2. for andy to tell april to stop being mean for once. or andy tell april to stop hating on ann
I can't bring myself to watch P&R. Just highlights like this. As a huge Office fan I watched the US version and despite its excellence it was sentimentality overload. I can't rewatch it. P&R is just the same thing but with one big pro - Aubrey Plaza - and one massive con - everyone on these damn shows seem to be rampant narcissists! They need to explore more personality disorders.
Leslie Knope thinking she’d “have a good shot” at becoming governor of Indiana is the funniest and most moronic thing to happen on this show. Whoever came up with that has clearly never actually spent time in my glorious state 🤣
I love how in parks and Rec everyone have actually grown as a person
Except for mark lmao
It's nothing special, it's almost a rule for american sitcoms to have characters that grow to be a better person
I mean yeah most shows have some form of development but yeah it’s great on this show.
Can we all agree that this is better than 'The Office'?
