You should definitely use loctite 648 on the press fits. This is what the factory uses and it really works. I make a 951 stroker crank for a 1100cc big bore project I'm working on and I weld those. However you should preheat them properly because the crankpins are high carbon chrome steel.
I want rebuild 2 crankshaft sea doo 787, I ask alot of specialist but no one can do this work, In Italy we are all noob. I try to buy in America 2 rebuild crankshaft but no one want to shipping in Italy. I never buy sea doo :( thx alot for your video but I think I can't do this work

I put the ce ter assembly in the lathe between centers and inspect the high points to ensure 180 degrees on the index head.

Great video I am trying to rebuild a few old seadoos 587 what would be the best way to faze the crank 180 degrees ?
Put it in a lathe and indicate with a degree wheel.

It's only 8 ton but it takes good fixturing and heat like I say.
