Solar Max Part 3

This episode wraps up the project with a scratchbuilt antenna mast and new solar arrays. After adding a couple of details to the top of the instrument module, all the pieces were joined together. The solar arrays came out a bit tilted due to the square mounting tubes being squeezed into a layer of soft foam board, making precision alignment tricky. Overall, it looks like Solar Max and I’m happy with this unique model.
