Thanks yet again for the new feature! : ) Just a few notes to add... -Yes, the steering doesn't feel right specially when used with an actual steering wheel input instead of a controller/keyboard. Is a known issue and we're trying to solve it, but it's hard, nothing has worked so far, so we're looking for help in order to get it right. Also, very important concerning the handling is the fact that the rear suspension is a solid axle just like in the car, brought from the Vivace, but the front suspension remains the incorrect double wishbone configuration from the Covet (the base for the car) and attempts to bring a McPherson unit into it have been not successful so far, so the driving experience is definitely quite the painful part to live with, as no real progress can be done for the moment...at least engines and transmissions are no longer the Covet ones, being everything based on the actual power units from the real car. -The number of different parts, trims, colors, parts and whatnot in the 205 is mindblowing. Spent straight days doing different stuff, including several different dome lights! But it keeps piling, obviously the main goal is to represent each available trim as accurate as possible from the factory, with more planned in the pipeline, but even with that in mind I can confirm only work will be done on the 1988-1994 3 Door version, since extra bodies are too much of a work, and pre-1984 cars had a completely different dashboard, so I want to keep it 'simple' and focus on that range, but again, trying to bring as much to the table as possible, 10 more trims/configs are already planned and will be released as they are being done, so please keep an eye on the mod in the future for extra content! -ABS and power steering is standard on the GTI Griffe. Most configs are based on their French original spec, and every export edition, depending on the country, has their own set of special trims, equipment, and more...hard to keep track of things. I added a couple of Spanish ones as a nod to myself, and also to represent these export editions, and equipment is still being checked to be sure every car has what's supposed to have, but it's not really easy, even with some expert help in the mod development by a French owner of a 205 and a really big fan of the model. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!
Glad to say the mod has been updated to 3.0, and this time, the team was able to reproduce the real suspension of the 205, both standard and GTI, and both visually and jbeam-wise, definitely turns things around for the handling!
will you ever make a 306 hatchback mod? the game is really sorely missing a quality 306, gotta use a 106 quicksilver to emulate our old car right now so if you guys ever do make one, it would mean a LOT to me, it was such a special car
Fun fact : I own a Peugeot 205 5 doors GR from 1989. I'll have you known, that the sun-roof on the "Indiana" config corresponds to the sun-roof I got on my own 205. It's the manual air-lock panoramic sun-roof. They were 4 different sun-roof for the 205 : - Manual mechanical lock body coloured hatch - Automatic electric lock body coloured hatch - Automatic electric panoramic hatch - Manual air-lock panoramic sliding window The later being the rarest as well!
Well, Saab and Scania have the same Mighty Griffin, because they were one company back in the day, than Saab was bought by GM and Scania by VW, but the logo stayed.
3:52 Actually the Peugeot logo is a lion which is much more recognizable now with their new logo and the Griffe name was referencing the huge handling capabilities of the car like it was scratching the asphalt when it turned with its "Griffes" (Claws in french).
this update was amazing though i feel like the steering feels alot more… “wonkier” if that makes sense. i have a steering wheel and even with power steering installed depending on how turned the wheel is, it’s either ‘soft’ or ‘hard’. i can’t explain it.
As far as i know, the French and their yellow headlights goes back to the war times. The French soldiers had yellow headlights so other French soldiers wouldn't confuse them with enamies. Or something along those lines, If i remember correctly at least. But some French manufacturers and independent people kept the yellow lights as either a styling option or a reverence to those days.
So in 1988 they launched this car - this is a very good car and it is still seen on the road because it is good and pactical. Meanwhile in Poland they were making the Fiat 126p And the Polonez MR86 which are very outdated but this car is not. Also the Polonez and Fiat are now classics - this is a youungtimer
Omg I just downloaded this car and it's the best mod car ever seen on Beamng! So many configs and everything so well made, the 3d models, graphics, physics, all 5/5 😮
Actually the logo from Peugeot is not a Griffin its a Lion, they also had a slogan back in the day in the Netherlands,, Laat de leeuw in je los (release the lion inside of you)
I need to tell you this, if you have a monitor with more hz than 60, you dont set the fps capper at 60, but at the monitor's hz, for ex. i got a 165hz monitor, and to reduce GPU load, i set the fps capper on 165hz,so that it doesnt get like 400fps, and if you have for ex. 60 fps on a 165hz monitor, there is a BIG diffrence jumping from 60 to 165, also theres v-sync for amd GPU's and g-sync for nvidia GPU'S, they are just like an fps capper, but if you dont know your monitor's hz, then its best to set these. Hope i help!
I set my FPS cap to 60fps only for recording because it gives my recording software more GPU power and I can't upload in more than 60fps so I'd be wasting a lot of PC resources on that. Hope that explains it!
@@SimulatorAdventures Ok thanks. And this mod don't need other files to work? We just need to download the file, move it in beamng drive mods game folder and it will work

Dudia without Peugeot isn't dudia
We need a Turbo 16 config! Even though I don't really like Peugeot, it's one of my favorite hot hatches
