This is a list B piece for ABRSM Grade 3 cello which I'm looking at but the fingering is different for some of the sections..... But great to hear it! Thank you!
@@CelloCoach Thank you!! I love that you stay engaged with your TH-cam fans!! Can't say how much I appreciate it!! Love your channel!! For the B they're asking us for 4th position. For the F#/A and G/A 2nd position... but I find that easier than the string crossing....
Jonathan, I have two questions. 1. Your score uses the D Major key signature, but I had already downloaded a version from Musicnotes that uses a E Flat Major (or C Minor). Why would there be two versions in different keys? 2. In going through your Scalebook, I see that the key signature for E Flat Major is the same as C Minor. How is one to tell which is which when reading sheet music? Once again, thanks for all you do!
1st question : Download MuseScore and then this score musescore.com/user/27236922/scores/5394276 . You can modulate to E flat major with just two clicks!
Oh man, there seems to be no way I can make that 1 to +4 string crossing with my hands. For a second it's okay, because I don't need to think about if my pinky gets on another string, but bar 15 is brutal on me.
Thank you for your calming explanations
Anytime
Jonathan ... you are an awesome teacher!
Thank you , Felix!
You're amazing! This is my all time favorite song and I can't wait to be able to play it. Xoxo
Thanks Claudia. I hope you learn it and perform for your friends and family.
Thanks 😊

I found the answer to my second question in your minor scales video. :-)
OK, I was about to answer the 2nd so I will answer the first, and with a video too in this month's Q&A.
