- Installing a Dyno jet Power commander V on the Kawasaki ZX10R as well as new NRG Laser iridium spark plugs, this REALLY woke this beast up ! Everything from throttle response to acceleration feels improved and really feels dialed in.

In like the almost decade I've been watching BXD never seen this dude mess up on his 600 or the 1000. This man has like MotoGP level riding skills.
That's because i'm never riding hard lol i'm very tame on the road especially as I got older.
Other than the time he low-sided on the 636.

I could definitely see you feeling a smoother idle replacing those plugs, but I don't think you can attribute much of, if any, power increase to them. Seems like a pretty good product - glad you're happy with it.

If the spark is weak it won't ignite the fuel as efficiently. You lose gas mileage and a bit of power, not a ton, but enough to be noticeable compared to spent plugs.
He also changed the map which greatly optimized the AFR with the pipe compared to what he had and on top of it new plugs lol

@@bakerXderek There was when I was looking at them a few months ago. At least for my '12 Super Tenere. Iridium plugs last a long time. Emissions , aka running lean probably did the plugs in. Dynojet should help that. Just checked Revzilla, out of stock still. Sucks to be me.

Hey there. Ol' school here. In regards to the PC5 ECU, I had it installed on my 2015 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom and tuned by a reputable, local bike shop. However, I can't give a real diagnostic difference as I also had a Vance n Hinze exhaust and a Kuryakyn air intake at the same time. But, on the dyno with the 3 up-grades, I boosted 44 HP on my ride from 50 HP to 94 Hp. Wow, what a difference from stock! Still slower than a crotch-rocket, but very fun to ride at my age!

A lot easier to get the plugs out of the #1 & #4 if you put the socket in first and then connect the swivel extension... Removing the Pair Valve Pump & hoses and installation of Block Off Plates frees up room as well.

If the airbox had a rubber seal, which it looks like it did, I hope you replaced it. A vacuum leak at the throttle body is no bueno.
Nice work man...... "just looking out" when your twisting the throttle don't jam it, I know it's fun but the bike could counter steer from torque, it's a bad habit I had it.... Bike sounds great way better then a flash!
Still would love to show you some more nuggets up here in the mountain that your missing. Extra beautiful "view ropes" yet to be seen. Plus the footage you can get at the hanglider launch, and much more. Don't worry, normal good guy married for 26 years.
My ZX10R has had Track Electronics sort the Ecu. The bike doesn’t need a power commander. I have full power already

Your PCV shouldn't change your tune at idle (or below 2000rpm) but the plugs definitely would.
And if you ever want an actual CUSTOM tune, ChaChaCha Motorsports in Riverside races Kawis and has a dyno. Terry will set you up.

For me the whole bike just feels like its smoother and running better. Pulls a lot smoother through the whole range.
Some people probably also use crap fuel
look up seal mate to try on those fork seals could just be a bit of dirt needing cleaned out
I cut my own out of a plastic bottle, worked just fine

@@pleasedontwatchthese9593 yea they are very easy to install. Most are plug and play with the ignition coils and you just need to wire power and ground. The shift sensors just go online on the shift rod.

Remove the secondary throttle plates, that will unrestrict the throttle bodies.
Where is that exactly ?
@@bakerXderek if you remove the airbox you'll se them in the throttle bodies, secondary throttle plates are the upper plates in the tbs: two phillips screws holds each one in place.

I'll be honest, I'm not impressed with the quality of dyno jet. My jet nozzles, the drill holes were mis-aligned by eye, and had burrs. That's not a component you want to mess up. Nothing personal to you, only a comment against dyno jet.
