Great review! Interlude has been my signature for years and this year I still wore it 18 times. Goes to show you how timeless the scent truly is. I see it as the French idea of a Middle Eastern man, spicy and smoky with a resinous heart, but you can still feel the touch of classic French elegance. I’m glad you’re patient with scents and spend enough time with them before passing your judgment, makes you one of the best reviewers in my book. ❤
I had a really bad withdrawal 2020 from a medication/drug i was on... And got into fragrances to keep my sanity. Im surprised and happy to see you on this side of my life
I love fragrances like this, where they have to grow on you. I find that I love them more if I have to work a little to understand and appreciate them.
@@CgScents I 100% agree, i've had interlude man for a while now and i find it very hard to wear, especially since im still in highschool. Most peoples scent experience is not developed enough to handle this.
Thank you for reviewing interlude, had a similar experience where i didn’t really like it at first, then one time i sprayed it and got a whiff 4 hours later and fell in love with the dry down ❤ keep up the content brodie!
Interlude 53 is art in a bottle, i lov it... 53 is denser, richer, smoother, and lasts forever, wears closer to the skin than the edp. The more I've worn it, the more i like it. Absolutely wonderful experience.
@@t2sugars393 I love both it’s weird I prefer the original interlude I don’t get what other people are saying with 53 I just get a little less oregano but it’s basically the same
for extraits its all in the dry down, they need some time and wear, like a whole day for them to shine, the longer you wear them the better they get. Thats my experience anyways when comparing to their edp counterparts. 😊
I’m actually not a fan of this one, although I’ve heard the candle is really nice in the air. I think the oregano doesn’t sit well with me, but I will revisit it later if my taste changes. I do like Overture, Journey, and Jubilation XXV though
Reflection 45 and Interlude 53 are my favourite from the brand. One of the best perfumes for me out of the 200+ decants from different brands that I currently have. Now I just need $1000+ to buy them:(
Had only tried Dua's version of Royal Tobacco and didn't like it. Got the real decant because of you and I love it. Got a 10 ml . Only tried clones of this and Black Iris and don't like them. Maybe I need to try the real deals. I think Amouge is a hard house to clone.
The good thing is they’re pretty strong so a 10ml goes a long way. I think the scents are already challenging so anything adding a challenge can make it too much they’re also complex that Amouage signature I imagine is hard to pull off properly. I looked at Montagne Intermission and Jubilee and they seem like real misses as well.
I love the OG Interlude but man was it exhausting to wear, it was too distracting and never really blends in with me but I loved smelling it on the strip or on someone else.
I feel this one is too complex for me, or maybe I'm not experienced enough to appreciate it. I can tell it's extremely high quality juice and the notes come across very realistically. It's just not for me, which is the case for a good amount of Amouage parfumes. It's like they create a masterpiece, but instead of stopping there, they keep adding stuff that feels out of place. Maybe one day it will grow on me.
I totally get that perspective and relate to it. I didn’t really get into Amouage until I had sampled enough that I started to desire something ‘out of place’. It took a while for me to appreciate and enjoy having their fragrances. I’ve since realized they smell a lot better in the air than up close and they have a lot of character. I don’t crave an Amouage collection but it’s really nice having a few I resonate with which so far have been Interlude, King Blue, and Reflection.
@@CgScents Reflection is one of those absolute Amouage masterpieces where they knew when to stop adding ingredients. Can't imagine I would still love it as much if they added peppermint or basil or something else out of key. Another one that does it for me is Bracken. Not too complicated or challenging, just a great harmony of notes. Same with Beach Hut. Aside from those, I haven't come across any Amouge scents that clicked for me.
Quickly became my favorite fragrance reviewer / channel. The way you break everything down is just perfect. Keep then coming.
💯 Clean Presentation, Data Analysis, Non Cringe.

always a pleasure to see a new CG review pop up. Thank you sir for keeping it real, your content is some of the best in the fragrance game.

THANKS BRO!, been waiting for this one for a while now. Great review as always. Keep up the good work!
Sometimes I wear a fragrance and it’s pretty simple I can understand it relatively fast. Interlude took a while 😅 it’s something else I love it!

I own this, a little goes a very long way. Thanks for the review.
My Scent of The Day and Daily Driver 🧿💨
Dark, & mysterious? That sounds like a TF Black Lacquer vibe.
Beautiful fragrance, but it takes some serious balls to pull it off wearing it😉

Sentimental bond for me.
... As with all Amouage bottles I own 😂
You need to do Moonlight in Heaven by Kilian!

It's an art
Interlude 11/10 🔥
What do you recommend I try? I love Cuoium and Interlude I know you like those

@@CgScents Art in a bottle needs a few wears for sure you’ll love it 👍 kinda smells like the bottle
I tried to enjoy this one many times, but to me it smells like smoke that is coming directly from something burning.

Hey.. Question..
Is it the "newest" version you Are reviewing?
Yeah magnetic cap made in Oman
mind explaining that weird thing you do at the end of every video? 😂
I have no explanation it just happens lol
@@CgScents fair enough 😂 awesome reviews though! 😍😍 keep it up!
It is like oregano on steroids. I find it flat out repulsive.
I love Amouage, but I hate this fragrance.
I totally get where you’re coming from. I love interlude but sometimes wonder if I am delusional 😂.
