I was at The Eagles Concert toward the tail end of The Long Run Tour in CT at the old New Haven Colosseum and it was Joe's Birthday...he came out for the third set...drink in one hand, dooby in the other, Plastic red Firemans hat with a rotating, flashing yellow beacon...he gets to the mic and says "I am running for President...on the HONESTY PLATFORM...CAUSE I HAVE NEVER FUCKING LIED TO YA"...brought the house DOWN...then led off the set with "Life's been good to me so far". The man is a LEGEND.
Came across this and Joe's voice and delivery is perfect ' Gertrude is that her name'. You have to watch the reaction of the others who perform improvisation, Joe really had them working to change the story which became funnier as he changed it again. Very funny and good for Joe Walsh.
It was listed in the coroner's report as a Suey-cide. I love it!! The brain worms got me--Thank you Joe Walsh for being such a stoner! If it weren't for you being as you are, life would be so boring!!!! :-)

Joe Walsh often would be a guest co-host on a Chicago radio station years ago. He was alway hilarious. He's done that at some other stations across the US too.
Joe may be alluding to the fact that he is affected by this phenomenon which leads to riffs being created for his music. His creation of music is associated with a repetitive pattern.
Oh. He has a great sense of humor no matter what. Family gatherings with Joe have to be so fun. Imagine? Joe can probably make the most uptight, unfriendly person he meets lighten up and really laugh.
