Improv, for me, has always been one of the most enjoyable forms of entertainment that has nothing to do with any of the stressful things that life can throw at you. You’re so engaged because of how unpredictable it is, and during it I have never drifted off and thought of negative thoughts. I’m so happy it is still going and I wish it had a resurgence in my city. No drugs, no drama, low cost, and so much more. I wish I was able to do it!
My sister and I saw them a few years ago in Knoxville and absolutely roared with laughter. Would absolutely love to see them again! Still watching Whose Line after all these years.
I had the pleasure of meeting colin a few years back and is to this day one of the most interesting and kind people you could meet. wicked smart, and extremely quick witted, the whole room was full of people from 80 to 25. truly a talent that has reached across generations. but like you, it would be great one day to see him or any of the other improv gods on stage.
they used to do a show a SDSU southern CT state U and it was the whole who's line experience with the 2 of them, minus hoedowns. i saw them 3 times and it was great all 3 times. their finish was The world's most dangerous comedy bit. They had 100 live cheap wooden mousetraps set and placed on the stage with them back stage then they took off their shoes and put on blindfolds before returning to the stage. they then seemed to try to find a way to lure the other into the traps. it was both funny and a little horrifying. After the 1st show i asked one of the stagehands/clean-up crew what they were going to do with the traps when told they were going to be thrown out i asked for and got one and they autographed it forme . i did this at the other 2 shows and those were prized posestion for years. i believe i sadly lost them in several moves.
Brad and Colin are masters at Improve. Used to love watching WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? with that amazing cast when Drew Carey was hosting. It's good to see the clean stuff...

@@drybarunscripted So listen, in Dry Bar Comedy, every word of every joke by every comedian hasn’t been perfectly “clean and family friendly” (and the definition of that changes from person to person too), but overall it has succeeded in respecting those ideals. With stand-up, it’s pretty polished and prepared (with the main exception of crowd-work). Improv is very fast and “off the cuff.” To me, it seems like it will be harder to keep those same ideals as intact with Dry Bar Unscripted. I’d like to know how you guys intend to do this thing without it falling into so-called “adult humor” and without losing the rhythm and quality of improv through the improvisors’ hesitation or self-censoring in the scenes or games. Maybe it won’t meet all the ideals that Dry Bar Comedy had to the same level. If that’s the case, though, it would be good to know going in.

Love that you're releasing improv specials! Always a joy to see the pros work! The only thing for me are the laugh tracks. They were way too overdone in my eyes, especially in the beginning.
