Praying for healing inward and outward for you my dear You are strong!🤗💗💗 It is well. It will be well🙏🏾🙏🏾This has happened to me and i'm a mum of 4 at 43 and i'm done now, and it happened before my 3 & 4th when I was 38yrs old...i did not take any birth control either, mine stopped after 3.5mths and i conceived, delivered safely & it started again before my 4th...i still didn't take any meds still but i changed my diet to OMAD and consuming rich green foods and fruits as i do not like meds at all as well. Please Ask for a female Gynaecologist nx time and i'm so glad you got one and from Niger🙏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾, some male Dr are stimes unattentive & dismissive. From my experience....our bodies differ but it's better to keep researching and you are so strong and brave💞✊🏾💪🏾 as you keep going on with your normal day and life, yet you are having this experience...i am so proud of you and i wish you a successful outcome and speedy recovery🙏🏾🙏🏾. Thank you so so much for sharing and educating us all...really love you more and more...i have stopped bleeding and my period has gotten back to normal as i record it every month, it 3yrs regular...it has gone from almost 2wks to 4-5 days with no pain...i pray and hope for thesame for you. Thanks for sharing your story, we thank God there are still doctors out there that care enough to go the extra miles with their patients. I’m super happy for you sis…. May the Lord bless you with a perfect health going forward 🙏🏾 it takes courage to share what you’re being going thru! Keep up with your positive energy 😀 love watching you!
I am so sorry that you went through that! I have struggled with uterine fibroids for years. I had heavy bleeding that lasted 10-15 days. My issue can NOT compare! I bounced from doctor to doctor for 4 years until finding a surgeon that would give me a myomectomy. It is so hard when doctors treat you like a number instead of a person. It is good to see you smiling despite the circumstances
As a fellow hormonal imbalance sis , I felt this 100%. Sending you all the love and strength 🙏🏾🙏🏾 Please keep us updated and cheers to permanent healing 💕💕💕💕
Adanna you are me and I'm you. My body went through the same thing, having heavy periods with clots sometimes for 3 month's. I would literally not have periods for almost a year. God is good, i even got pregnant and hadn't had periods for like 6 months or so. My bundle of joy is here now and sometimes they come and sometimes they don't. I'm even used to it.
We as women know when something is wrong with our bodies. 😊 Adanna so glad you kept on pushing for investigations and not being fobbed off. I pray that things settle, healing comes and you get back to enjoying the life God has given you as you should.
Adanna! I thank God that He has healed you & I know that this video will help sooo many women. Sharing this was a brave step and an act of service that can only come out of love for other women who are suffering. Thank you for sharing & I am praying for your continued relief. ✝️
I also have a condition pcos and im nigerian female, ive also had so many ultrasounds and my silly doctor gave me a cancer scare early this year, ruined most of the year for me because she took a vacation without addressing it. im currently trying to change from her and this has really motivated me to seriously change her. Thanks so much for sharing this, because its a really sensitive and vulnerable topic most people dont understand 🥰🥰 Celebrate everything!!
This is my exact diagnosis. It was a hard pill to swallow when receiving the news because there isn’t much info out about EH. I had an IUD for 2 weeks and it was extremely painful. I requested for them to take it out and find me another option. They put me on progesterone-only pills. So it’s almost like BC but not quite. I am almost done with the prescription and then will have another procedure, either biopsy or Hysteroscopy to see if the hyperplasia has ceased. Praying hard! God has the final say. This video really helped to listen to.
@adannamadueke I experienced the same thing after having my child in 2011. I went with an IUD as well and i habe no complaints. As a black woman I cant stress enough how important it to have a good doctor that listens & takes your health concerns/suggestions seriously. God bless and take care 😘
Isnt it so sad that we as black precious woman have to have a doctor that really listens? Where as other woman get the help they need immediately? When I think about it, it makes me so sad. We really are always the black sheep. But God him self loves us the most❤️
Thanks for sharing your story. As women, we hesitate to share sometimes but we don’t realize how much it can help others. You smiled all the way through and that’s so refreshing…I wish for you total healing! It’s indeed important that we listen to our bodies 🙏 Peace and love from Jamaica!🇯🇲
Watching this video reminds of the woman with the issue of blood in the bible and what her problem might have been. I pray that as the woman received her healing, you shall receive yours and it will be a thing of the past in no distant time. The Lord will continually strengthen you. Amen
The fact that you say this with smiles on your face simply shows how strong you are...I had this same experience for three months which after all the numerous test nothing was found. I felt miserable n close to death... Today I give God all the glory for healing me n I pray you too will give your testimony and it would be permanent .
I’m glad you finally got answers and help! I’m sorry to hear your concerns kept being brushed off but glad you advocated for yourself and got several opinions, although it shouldn’t have come to that. I’m a gynecologist and if you are bleeding for more than 3 weeks at a time or not getting your period at least every 3 months, you need further evaluation. Thank you for sharing and best of luck!
I currently have a Copper IUD. (These are the ones that last for ten years). I had my first one inserted after the birth of my son in 1997. I received the next IUD in 2007 and my final IUD was inserted in 2017 when I was 48. I am dealing with menopause now so I will not have another one inserted in 2027. They have been a blessing. The reason I chose to go with the IUD is because I got pregnant with my son while taking the birth control pill!😂 You are a strong black woman. I take my hat off to you for not giving up and finding out the cause of your sickness. God Bless You😊
I'm sorry to hear that you were dealing with that. I am glad you're ok and well. May God continue to Richly Bless you with a Healthy and Prosperous life. Thank you for your story❤🙏
My dear Adanna, I'm so sorry that you've gone through all of this and to think you've been smiling through it all. I hope that as this video was made 2 years ago, you are now absolutely fine. Love you lots ❤🇬🇭🇬🇧
I've been watching you for a long time and the way you come across so happy with a smile all the time if you didn't say it ,I wouldn't have know you were in pain. It just goes to shows. Thanks for sharing I know this couldn't been easy. 🙏
I love you so much and this is my first time dropping a comment on your post. Believe me, I watch all of your videos, not because of the natural hair thing. Your personality is beautiful, you are free, you are just you, and it is amazing. I am so sorry you went through this. But trust me when I say you are a source of hope and light for people going through difficult situations presently. You have been so strong. I admire your courage, may God be with you. God loves you!
Wow, you're so strong. Despite all these happening you still give amazing contents. Adanna, you're an inspiration. It's good you changed your doctor and you got someone you're more comfortable with. And I'm happy you now know the cause of the issue. I pray you get complete healing IJN.
I"m just now seeing this message. Im thankful that you didn't give up and found the answer. I Believe in miracles and i"m standing in agreement that through Jesus Christ you will receive complete healing!!!
Adanna, I am so proud of you for sharing your story. Thanks for being candid and vulnerable. I want you to know that you are not alone. A lot of women myself inincluded have gone through women's health issues, and it takes self-love, determination, and perseverance, but most of all, faith in God that there is a solution and that things will be ok. Stay strong and continue to be an advocate for yourself, and by sharing, you then become an inspiration to others.
I am exactly where you are!! I've seen many doctors and lived with the pain for about 8 years. I have an appointment next week to get an IUD because I am over the severe pain and uncontrollable bleeding. I want to feel normal again!! Good luck to you sis!!
I'm so sorry you went through this. A lot of doctors just look at the symptoms and treat those instead of trying to actually find the problem. I had the worst periods with cramps so severe i would stay home from school, and the doctor just gave me birth control. I didn't find out until i was pregnant at 36 that i had a fibroid and i was estrogen dominant, so birth control was the worst thing for me. I changed my diet and started eating foods that balance my hormones, and started taking vitamins like iodine and dim that support reproductive health, and cured myself. I also now have a black female doctor who actually takes the time to listen to me. You have a choice. Do your research and find natural remedies. Synthetic hormones are not the answer. I wish you the best sis. Thank you for sharing.💕💕
I'm so glad that you fought for yourself and got the right care that you needed. I have an IUD and it's been wonderful. I have the one without medication because I can't do extra hormones. It makes my depression unbearable.
I always watch your hair videos without commenting, but you definitely stole my heart today. All I can say is God will see you through this and he will find you a better solution. Keep staying positive. Loads of love from Michigan 💜💜
Hello Lady, I actually have had an IUD for 1yr now. It has helped me manage painful periods. I was told when I was pregnant with my son that I have a 1inch fibroid and years after I keep having these pains before my period arrives. When I was in college around age 18-19, I had on going periods that lasted about 6weeks. They were so heavy that I always had to wear double pads and still change them every few hour. I hear you said the bleeding and pain lasted a few years. I feel for you if it was anything like what I went through. All I can say is you will love the IUD being a person who doesn't like to remember taking pills. There's the non hormonal one so you won't gain weight. Just take an ibuprofen maybe 1hr before Insertion and you should be good after.
Thank you for being vulnerable & telling your story- finding a doctor that you are comfortable with takes time- Im grateful you didn't give up- I pray for healing
Hi Adanna, thank you for this share. I am a fellow sufferer for over 3 years too, but no one seems to be able to give me any answers. I am trusting God for my healing. Like you it could be fibroids and no guarantee if I have it removed that it will stop. Would love to connect with you and talk to you. I refused all their suggestions after research, the coil wasn't a choice I liked. I too have seen 5 naturopaths but to no avail. I am living one day at a time till my miracle comes.🙏🙏 God has promised healing.
The way you are telling us about your reproductive health struggles..like wow! I would have been balling my eyes out w tears teling this. More grace to u Adanna!
My God what an incredible story. I am soooo glad u mentioned getting a black Dr! Some doctors are way too quick to dismiss us and our truths. One thing I hv always said: a woman knows her body and when somethings not right. We must Perserver until we get the answers u need to be healed! Thank u thank u thank u for sharing this. U nvr know what ppl are going thru. Bless u sis.🙏
Thank you so much for sharing this. I've had the same problem since my teenage years. I was put on birth control, tried to stop taking it only to find that my body never regulated, and forced to accept the reality that I may always need birth control to live a somewhat normal life. But I think there have been some undesirable long term consequences of taking BC. Now it would seem even BC is not as effective with regulating my cycle. Over the years I also went from doctor to doctor just for them to tell me the problem was normal or not a big deal. One obgyn did an ultrasound and found polyps and fibroids and said removing them "may" help the issue. So I opted for the surgery only to have the doctor poke a hole through my uterus after not being able to find the polyp during the procedure. After that, I pretty much lost hope, being tired of doctors telling me I'm healthy and nothing is wrong even though I'm in pain and anemic and always tired. I was truly shocked to watch this video and hear your story! I'm so happy that you were able to finally figure out the problem and find a comparable solution. I feel inspired to make another appointment. Thank you Adanna! ❤
So glad you advocated for yourself! Providers need to hear more from our patients' points of view. IUDs are awesome once they are placed. As an aside, every medication out there has potential terrible side effects. Tylenol can damage your liver. Motrin, your kidneys. Pros of using/not have to be weighed against risk of using/not using. Like birth control and blood clots. You are over 10 times more likely to get a blood clot if you get pregnant. If you use the pills you are more like 3-4 times more likely to get one
Thanks for sharing, don't worry yourself too much about children because,i have gone through a lot about homoneral imbalance but i still had seven pregnancies with four children so may the almighty God be with you all the time
Thank you Adanna for sharing your experience. I’ve never heard of this endometrial hyperplasia before. Now that you talked on it, I’ll read more about it and educate myself about this condition. Thank you
This is the first time I’ve heard anyone’s story that was so close to my story, from the age it started, the multiple doctors, the months of non stop bleeding, putting in more effort to see what was wrong then not caring anymore. I finally found a doctor that made me feel seen and heard but then I had to move across the country and I lost hope in 2019, You are not alone my dear and I hope that knowing that other people are dealing with the same thing gives you a fraction of hope that this video has given me.
I can understand everything you went through. I had a similar issue but ended up having to get a hysterectomy. So I’m glad you didn’t give up and finally found a Doctor that you are comfortable with and is listening to you. And you got through the video😊
Adanna I am sorry you have been through this battle but I am glad you persevered until you got a clear diagnosis. I admire your refusal to accept the 1st thing thrown at you. We have to be our own health advocates too, we cant rely solely on practitioners. I agree that your health condition did not develop because your body is suffering from a lack of birth control. Something else is wrong. May I suggest you continue seeking answers through a 'Functional Medicine' and/or Holistic practitioner. Many of them specialize in hormone analysis & balancing. They are trained to get to the 'root cause' of health problems. Sometimes they are not covered by insurance (certainly not in the US) but it's worth the trip. I had a long struggle with PMS cramping as well as uterine fibroids. My holistic hormone specialist determined that I was estrogen dominant, b12 & D3 deficient, etc. The panel of hormones she tested was unlike those docs who are not trained to look for these things. (Even the endocrinologist I visited could not answer the questions I had about my hormones. I have found that many MD's get somewhat defensive when you ask questions they cant answer, rather than research the matter). I believe the microbiome also has an effect on our hormones. So I am glad you got some clarity but I encourage you to keep looking for non-synthetic health-management options. Someone has the answers you're looking for. 😉
This is a perfect example to be kind to people on the Internet you never know what they're dealing with. God is faithful 🙏 thank God you are doing well and you've got the strength to speak out. ❤
I was so touched by this video because you exude so much energy to think that you were going through all of this and had all this positive vibes is Inner strength. My kids (11&10) they love you. You will over come. You are strong dear. God's got you❤
So sorry you went/are going through all that. In your videos it never showed how much discomfort you were in. You are so strong! I hope that with the IUD, your problems will be solved. Stay blessed!
Thank you for sharing and trusting and believe, your in test right now. Continue to share because I want you to become a testimony for others to hear. Because by God stripes you are heal. Keep praising God and reading his word. ❤
Hi, Adanna. Thanks for sharing. I just had the same experience this year, biopsy and all. Thank God for His mercies. Praying for your continued healing sis.
I'm so sorry this happened to you. I'm happy that you held onto your faith, keep asking questions, and for some relief. I will be praying for you, thank you for sharing this with us. We love you boo.
Girl I have been there and done that. Birth control pills tried to take me out, so not for me. I’ve been on that journey as well. I pray healing in your life. In your body, your hormones.
I've had 2 IUDs since 2008, and it has helped my periods. I used to have horrible period symptoms. Diarrhea, excess bleeding, and horrible cramps. Every time my period came on, it felt like, TMI, someone was ripping my vagina out. It was terrible. But my Dr recommended an IUD. I was scared bc there is a device in my uterus, but it has helped so much that I probably get my third. Implants are probably safer since there isn't something inside your uterus , but I took the risk, and it's been amazing for me. BUT everyone is different. What worked for me might not work for someone else.
Representation truly matters in all professions , I’m so happy your found a black doctor and felt so safe !! May God perfect your healing , thank you for the non stop content through it all! You are amazing & super strong 🤩🤩🤗 To my fellow Nigerians, don’t stop working hard , we have what it takes to succeed.
Hi Adanna, today as I was watching this vedio, I felt my story being told. I too have gone through the same experiance and it was quite difficult. Not even intersted in dating because i was always bleeding. But by the grace of God from april this year till date my period has been coming on its own. But I too didn't not take the pills, because I said God is going to turn my situation around, and He has. BECAUSE I REFUSED TO GO ON THE PILLS!!
Thanks so much for sharing Adana. You are definitely going to be fine. God will heal you. You are a strong woman. I watch your videos and didn't know what you were going through. I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST.!!!
I know this wasn't easy but thank you for sharing. As women I don't feel like we are heard, especially concerning our health. Sometimes I feel like a trial and error project. This gives me voice to keep seeking a solution vs more pills.
I had an IUD IT WORKED TOO well!! I went from being very fertile to being sterile. 😢 But that was my experience everyone is different. Just keep up with your testing and keep GOD in all your decisions. ❤
I am wearing a IUD just now for 8 years, it’s the copper T one for 10 years. It’s my second time around. Put in and come out very fast. I like it my only problem is my period is longer. I wish you very well on your healing journey, I am also suggesting using natural remedies along with the IUD
Hi my beautiful sister. Thank you so much for being venerable and sharing your story. Yes keep putting your faith in God. Praying for healing and strength. ❤
Girl you are strong!!! I thought i was. BY HIS STRIPES YOU ARE HEALED! Hormohal issues are the worst hd the exact same problem would bleed for long periods until i became anaemic. Then now my periods have stopped i spot here and there. I used to worry about early menopause but now i just know God has healed me already ! I have spent loads of money going to gps and still nothing so i m jusg looking at God amd am satisfied😊. Waiting for a baby too , i know deep down i will have one even with a troubled menstrual cycle..so keep your joy. All is well!!!
You don’t need birth control to improve your progesterone . You can be prescribed micronized progesterone which is the only form of progesterone theta identical to the kind your body produces.
Listening to your body is essential. Noticing and not ignoring changes, even the smallest is so important. Also insist that your voice and concerns be taken SERIOUSLY and not dismissed. Get a second opinion, go to another doctor. In 2017, I was securely in menopause for a number of years when I noticed blood in my urine. A urinary tract infection was ruled out. I had a series of tests by my GYN including a biopsy. And yes Adanna, it was horribly painful. I was diagnosed with an early stage Endometrial Cancer. A few weeks later I had a total hysterectomy. The cancer was completely removed and I didn't need chemotherapy or radiation. Have been cancer free since. Ladies do what you have to do. ❤
Thank you for sharing this. I experienced a somewhat situation. It's important as black women that we are vocal about our issues and continue seek help until we find the right doctor that will listen. I had the iud and that s*** hurt like crazy, upon getting it put in I almost passed out😂 I had it for about a month and got it removed. I also was put on multiple birth control pills and eventually stopped. I had surgery and had a cyst removed off my right ovary. These days I feel better than I did 2 or 3 years ago. I'm not on b/c or anything.
Hi Adanna, I am not usually one to comment on videos, but your story so closely replicates my journey, I had to say something. I spent years bleeding, in pain, going to many doctors, including nathopaths, trying many types of birth control, and I had two surgeries. Nothing helped until I began drinking green smoothies and taking maternity vitamins. I know it sounds crazy, but I have now been problem free for nine years. Thank you, Jesus!
Thank you for sharing, you are an inspiration. Despite all those challenges you showed up consistently with your infectious laughter. Sending you love from the UK, and praying you a complete healing. xx
Dear Adanma, hmmmm. Its been a journey and rough times but God will put an end to it and heal you miraculously. For what God can not do does not exist.
You should drink raspberry leaf tea. I have a similar issue. My period would last for 14 plus days and come back after 2 weeks. When I drink the tea that regulates my cycle. I didn’t want to go on contraceptives either.
Hi babes, thank you so much for all the love and prayers. This video was recorded 2 years ago. I'm glad to share this with you for educational purposes now that I am in a much better place and fully well. God is so good! Please listen to your body o ❤

A lot of women myself inincluded have gone through women's health issues, and it takes self-love, determination, and perseverance, but most of all, faith in God that there is a solution and that things will be ok. Stay strong and continue to be an advocate for yourself, and by sharing, you then become an inspiration to others.
Thanks for sharing your story. As women, we do need to take care of our bodies. Blessings to you, Adanna!
I am exactly where you are!! I've seen many doctors and lived with the pain for about 8 years. I have an appointment next week to get an IUD because I am over the severe pain and uncontrollable bleeding. I want to feel normal again!! Good luck to you sis!!
So sorry for all you went through. And to think you were going about your normal activities as normal. ❤
You're so courageous....3 years of bleeding, my God !
I’m impressed with the way you’re laughing and sharing this story. You’re too strong❤
I love how you smile even going through everything .your faith will make u well 😊❤all the best
omg babes so sorry you had to go through this ,all i can say is healing is yours.amen
Thanks for sharing, don't worry yourself too much about children because,i have gone through a lot about homoneral imbalance but i still had seven pregnancies with four children so may the almighty God be with you all the time
You're the sweetest chile. God bless you as you go on this journey..
Wow thank you so much for sharing. Thank God for being with you every step of the way
I can understand everything you went through. I had a similar issue but ended up having to get a hysterectomy. So I’m glad you didn’t give up and finally found a Doctor that you are comfortable with and is listening to you. And you got through the video😊
Adanna
I am sorry you have been through this battle but I am glad you persevered until you got a clear diagnosis.
This is why representation matters! Chai!
I'm so sorry about your experience. Praying healing comes quickly!
God knows all and can do all. With him nothing is impossible. I am so happy you finally got your answer.❤
Thank you for sharing and trusting and believe, your in test right now. Continue to share because I want you to become a testimony for others to hear. Because by God stripes you are heal. Keep praising God and reading his word. ❤
I had the same exact same in detail. Even the Biopsy and I fine. I took the pills sometimes, I have no pain. I pray and went on a fast.
Hi, Adanna. Thanks for sharing. I just had the same experience this year, biopsy and all. Thank God for His mercies. Praying for your continued healing sis.

Girl I have been there and done that. Birth control pills tried to take me out, so not for me. I’ve been on that journey as well. I pray healing in your life. In your body, your hormones.
You are Strong 💪🏾
God is control.
May God see you through ❤
You are really strong. All the best to you I hope you will get the healing you need to have the health you deserve.God bless you
Thank you for sharing your story Adanna. So many of us are going through menstrual issues in silence. Much love and healing to you dear.
My God.... I declare complete healing upon your life. What a testimony!
What worked for me might not work for someone else.
as she has said health is wealth listen to your body take good care of yourself and cheers to permanent healing love you Adanna.
Representation truly matters in all professions , I’m so happy your found a black doctor and felt so safe !! May God perfect your healing , thank you for the non stop content through it all! You are amazing & super strong 🤩🤩🤗
To my fellow Nigerians, don’t stop working hard , we have what it takes to succeed.
You’re loved. ❤ And you are blessed… including healing
Adanna God is good all the time. Sis I'm so glad that you have finally found a resolve you are a strong woman. God bless
Thank you so much for sharing, I bless God for your perfect health. You are an over comer!!! Thank you Adanna, truly.
You're strong babe kaiii. Thank you Adanna for sharing this, thank you! God bless and keep you
You are indeed a wonderful person. God is great. Thank the Lord he has healed you.
Thank you Adanna for sharing. Yes, finding a gyna that cares in Canada is torture.. the pain I have been going through, God forbid!
You have me crying and laughing at the same time. I wish you all the best.
I’m so glad you shared your story
I pray and hope you heal along with every woman out here dealing with any issue🙏🏾
Love all your videos
God bless you dear, there are others with the same problem. It is not easy, nothing God cannot do.
You don’t need birth control to improve your progesterone . You can be prescribed micronized progesterone which is the only form of progesterone theta identical to the kind your body produces.
Oh wow...... so sorry that you endure that. I'm glad you shared your experience
You are so strong! Sending much love your way!
Hi Adanna,
I am not usually one to comment on videos, but your story so closely replicates my journey, I had to say something.
Sending you love from the UK, and praying you a complete healing. xx
Adanna, you are a strong woman and I'm very proud of you.
I’m so sorry for everything you’ve been through. I’m so glad you kept going and didn’t give up. Sending you love and light. 💛💛💛!
Praying for continued healing, strength and a pain-free journey
