I love using grease!! It seems to be the only product that can keep my hair moisturized. For added moisture you could use a leave-in conditioner before using grease.

Exactly, after a wash, throw some blue magic on ur scalp, protective style (braid, twist, band stretch) your hair/scalp remains moisturized. I love grease.
I’m here for the successful chaos!!! I use Blue Magic on my hair in the winters and it works pretty well for Shelby’s twist outs (my hair’s name is Shelby).
Honestly. I started using grease in my hair a year ago, and my hair has NEVER BEEN BETTER. It is much longer (past my natural waist when straight) healthier and thicker. It is literally the only thing that my hair likes.
I too am an "atypical" black girl, and my dad is also a musician! Very random comment on my part but the beginning made me feel very happy and validated. That is all! I'm stoked to check out your dad's album!
Grease is excellent for sealing in moisture (leave in conditioner and organic oils). I use it every time I style and make sure to use a clarifying shampoo to remove buildup. 👍🏾
Some tips - moisturise your hair first with leave-in and/or moisturiser. Then add the grease to seal. A little goes a long way so you don't need to apply a lot per section which also reduces that grease like feeling. I usually only do a tap of a finger's worth, never scoop it cos that's just too much. Honestly, the moisture locking ability is unmatched.
Sweet! I've been seeing so much about blue grease lately that I feel compelled to try it out. The ingredients don't sound the best but I know this product has worked for so many naturals since the beginning of time! P.S. Your hair looks GORGEOUSLY healthy!!! 😍🙌🏾

My fiance that has passed on, would always say the expression, "Peace and hair grease." They need to put something like, "The original 60 year old formula", or something like that ton the container. Who knew they are still making Blue Magic? 🌸
Just started using blue magic on my daughters hair and it has gotten so much thicker and the growth is coming along too! She has 4c hair as well and b4 the grease it was hard trying to hold moisture in. Great video, the turn out was lovely!
All of your hard work showed itself beautifully compliments of your wave formers and BLUE MAGIC! That should be your go to style. Your hair looks healthy and beautiful Danielle. Go STARPUPPY!!!
I love Blue Magic! It's the only thing that keeps my leave-in conditioner or water really sealed in for days and days. I don't have a sensitive scalp (I also have 4C hair), so I put grease on my scalp and my hair. My scalp is healthy and my hair is growing so fast. I do use a clarifying shampoo once a month for wash day.
Great tip! My grandmother used Blue Magic/Ultra Sheen grease when I was a child & my hair was long, thick & healthy. I was a bit apprehensive about going back because I know it’s no good for the scalp/pores but I’ll def try your tip 👍🏽
We all had long healthy hair as little girls because our moms kept it simple with grease, water and twisting and plaiting. I'm gonna find my jar of blue magic too LOL
Grease is fantastic! Using it for a few years and my hair is thicker, longer, and healthier. Lessons learned - Only need a SMALL amount, it is a sealant only so moisturize well before applying, and wash your hair thoroughly each week and use a clarifying shampoo monthly to avoid buildup
Wait your dads cool too!?!? It’s tew much! Girl hair grease is IT! I have two little girls and one has 3c fine but long hair and it’s all kinds of baby bird flyaway! The other one has a sturdy 4a but the strands are also fine - lemme tell you it gives them the shine and sealing they need to hold their styles plus add definition. Coupled with a cream moisturizer and they’re good to go!
It’s okay when everyone says my hair fell out when I was 11 I never hear it was because of blue magic. It’s always relaxers slap that grease in there and go!
Wow! It came out so amazing! Grease sure does wonders! I'm happy you didn't fluff it out! I think as the days go by, it will fluff out on its own and stay pretty on each stage! Also, your dad! His voice is stunning. I still remember that music runs in your family, but hearing one of them is spectacular! Your voice is amazing as always.

At 06:55 she realized she was TOTALLY wrong and Danielle was right the whole time. She yelled "Away!" a she ran to the drug store looking for Blue Magic.😂🤣🥶

Your hair turned out beautiful. Smooth and silky. Reminds me crimps back in the 90’s to get this same look. All that heat and ‘pump it up’ holding spray to crimp the hair. This is a much healthier version. I like the Bergamot and I’m using the Indian Hemp version. They smell better than the blue one to me.
