This is 4c hair am tired of these fake 4c’s.
High Definition lool I am happy you found this helpful and relatable 🤗💕
And they have the nerve to say that if you take good care of your hair it will curls 🙄🙄
Okay?!? All these 3a’s calling themselves 4c make it difficult for true 4c’s to understand their hair!
I'm sorry but when did 4c hair have natural curls. Like try and make it believable
I am a 7th grader with 4 c hair, my mom has permed hair and does not really know how to deal with it. This video taught me a lot because I've been trying to do this hair style and searching up how to do it, but all the girls I've seen never had my texture hair, so, thank you so much for this video. Oh, by the way I'm subscribing

Hi, Allayne...what a pretty name first off!
I'm 26 with a 2 year old and my hair is natural as well. When I was in school about your age and earlier...my mom would perm my hair a lot too.
It was bad. I used to have scabs from burn on my scalp and my scalp and I would think that my hair was SUPPOSED to be straight naturally because I just didn't know.
At some point when I went to college I just cut it and its been a hard journey but worth it.
My mom doesn't understand why I don't wear my hair out because I keep it in protective styles. I'm busy and I work and I have a 2 year old so.
I am proud of you Allayne that you love rocking your beautiful natural hair❤️
Yes you are doing great learning and practicing it on your self. I am so proud of you. And you doing it on your own will show how responsible you are. You are amazing. I chose to do my own 4c because my mom was heavy handed. She knew how to do it though.
WOW! She looks BEAUTIFUL! I need to try this technique on type 4 hair. Very helpful, thanks for sharing!!!
This is unrelated but here's some tips to help your natural hair grow.
*Detangling*-You should detangle once a week on damp hair, working from ends to roots.
*Moisturising*-When moisturising it's good to have a spray bottle (for water) and a thick bristle brush/tangle teaser hand
*porosity* check replies for a definition
*Heat*-By heat I mean hair straighteners/blow dryers etc. It ok to use heat every once in a while (using it on a low heat is helpful) but using it too much can result in heat damage.
*wash routines*-It's good to have a wash routine so your hair can get used to the same products in the same order. Its also a great idea to use hair protein at least once a month.
*Oil*-Using hair oil is another great way to help your hair grow but you need to remember that oil is *not* a moisturiser and that it only seals in moisture so you should use a moisturiser first.
*rice water*-Rice water definitely helped my hair grow but you need to remember that it doesn't work for everyone and that in some cases it can damage hair even more.
*protective styles*-Protective styles are another helpful tip but when doing a protective style you shouldn't pull your hair too tight or be rough with it since all you would do is break your hair.
*gel*-Gel is great for styling your hair but you shouldn't use it too much or as a moisturiser as all it would do is build up.
*common protective styles*
*twists
*braids
*Good oils*
*Jamaican black castor oil
*Argan oil
*Coconut oil
*Tea Tree oil
*Rosemary oil
*olive oil
*Aloevera oil.
*jojoba oil
*almond oil
Sorry if I missed out anything.
Anonymous M High porosity can easily get moisture, but it can’t easily hold it due to gaps in the cuticle. With low porosity, it’s a little more difficult to get the moisture in there, but once it’s there it’s there. That’s because low porosity hair has tighter cuticles.
Medium porosity takes little work (but still some just like any hair activity) because it’s a balance of the other two.
Girl you did that, turned out beautifully 😍. There are so many things 4c hair can do
Jeanie Mensah 😭 thank you babes 🙈😍 and yes our 4c hair be doing magics 😍
@@orokonaboba7157 I hope you learn to love it. 4c is amazing. When you start developing a positive attitude towards it, you will find out what it needs in order to make life easier for you. I know we have been conditioned not to appreciate it but we can change that 😊 Don't give up on it...all the best for your journey!!
@@orokonaboba7157 Condition it well. Detangle and add moisturizer when damp. Love it. I'm sure its beautiful and strong.
She has such thick luscious hair. Ppl are killing for this thickness. The end product was so pretty.
omg yes. I was looking at this and wanting to cry. My hair used to be that thick when I was young and I didn't appreciate it and now that I've got thin, old lady hair I miss it so bad.
It turned out so pretty and she's gorgeous.
Black girls rock, for real.
Everybody this is the real deal this is the originally 4C Hair. Great job as usual Adanna. Also wanna say you have beautiful fingers ⭐️👍
Exactly all these African Americans talking bout 4c hair it clearly not when I search hair tutorials it never 4 c
Its not the 4c hair YOU think is 4c. Everybody has different hair types. People claim something isn't 4c just because they don't think it counts. Everybodys hair isn't thick, etc.
@@katodd2925 they're talking abt curl patterns not thickness I've seen many people with loose curls claim 4c simply because its dry and damaged
The finished look is absolutely stunning and she is such a beauty , your content is always on point sis , keep up the good work! Have a wonderful weekend.
I must compliment you , a beautiful finish, you have patience and style love it thanks.
Now this is 4C hair ! These other TH-camrs don’t know what 4C hair is , straight lying 🤥 .
Beautiful ❤️ beautiful ❤️ outcome ❤️
Exactly. Too many posting type 4 between 4C mixing it up. This is how my hair is and I can’t EVER slick it without help. My arms give up
After seeing her hair and reading positive comments am so relieved that there is nothing wrong with my hair
what😳 my hair is exactly the same and it gives me a hard time in laying it flat... thanks alot you have saved me😍
Got2be gel will do the maggic but it dries off your hair so badly. Using it alone can slick down and keep it for 2-3 weeks. Goodluck
She is so lucky to have a sister that can bust out some cute styles for her.
Please do more styles with your sister's hair.. That's the real 4c hair.... I almost gave myself a new hair type... 4d
she didn't even use heat,it turned out great sis.
she so pretty i can see the family resemblance
Metro Metro Hahahaha thank you! 💕 Some people say she looks more like my dad while I look more like my mom but I dunno 😂
Isn't she just? Her eyes are sooooooo beautiful. Especially before the make-up.
She. Looked sad at the beginning at the end she was glowing it's amazing how just get your hair done in perks you up love it
Healthy 4C hair by far the most beautiful.
The beautiful natural curls and waves of 4C hair!!! You did great big sis, your little sis looked phenomenal after you were done!!!
Love it… you're the reason I was able to slick down my 4C hair. Thank you!! Your sister is beautiful
Shavon W Awww babes this makes me soo happy to know... You are welcome and thank you gorgeous 🤗😘
I’m so happy to see this, her hair is just like mine! Real 4C I can relate to, now I can learn how to slick down my hair. Something I didn’t think I could do.
This is such an inspiration to me because I thought there was no one out there with hair that behaved like mine. I've said myself that my hair WILL NOT slick down so I would just stay away from even trying it. But to see someone with hair similar to mine and to see how to manage hair like mine...you have no clue how much of a blessing this is! THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO🤗💜
Thank you sooooo much for this tutorial!!! Your sister and I have the same thickness of hair, and honestly before finding your page I didn't think it was possible to have a real slicked down ponytail. You made me a believer with the technique you use on your hair, and now with this video I'm going to try this soon!!! You both are beautiful and her hair is 🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍
It would be nice to see a series of you doing different styles on her hair so we can follow her journey! 💕
Aunti Ada, thank you for doing this demo. You're one of the few naturalistas showing and PROVE your techniques not only work yourself but also others! I adore you videos, keep it goin :)
SHES ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS!!!! OMG look at her perfect skin and that beautiful slicked down style! I LOVE IT!
Melanin poppin' ..... She has that regal look without even trying! I love our ppl. 🖤💜💙
When it comes to transforming looks,, girl you are a graduate I salute you
Baby is looking good! My sister has 4C hair and I’ve had to section her hair just like this to get it in a ponytail because of the thickness. Lots of work but it can be done!
oh my dear god your sister is SO beuatiful!! like with no make, no hair dos, no anything this girls is just naturally gorgeous!!!
She looked royal with her hair and makeup and your hands are beautiful but your nails enhance them even more!👍👍😊
Awww big sister Adanna😊 Thank you for putting a smile on her lovely face!!!
My hair is a wonderful mix of 3b to 4a and i watched this as i am starting my 'edge laying journey'. Whilst it didn't really help with that, i found myself smiling as i saw the effort, love and time the sister gave to the quarantine birthday girl. Sweet.
Amazing - I can see she has healthy hair. She is sooooo blessed to have so much hair to work with!
4c hair can definitely slick down it just takes a lot of gel.
Could have just blowdry the hair, would have taken half the time and less product.
@Ericka Jones You probably didn't put it in layers or use the right kind of gel. Sometimes it helps if your hair is stretched. Use Bobby pins if you need to.
What everyone has to agree is that beauty runs in your family🤗🤗. And those brows are on point. The makeup was done ✅
Beautifullll, i literally just had my 12 year old watch this video with me. Her hair is the exact texture and she is not happy with herself at all. You seemed so confident and happy. I hope she understands and we will definitely be doing this style soon.
Thank you for actually showing 4C hair. So tired of being fooled by the title only to see that it's 4A/B or even 3c. The hair style came out great by the way. I loved it.
The way she starts to smile is priceless, amazing job!
Happy birthday to her! You always have amazing content! I love your channel! Keep up the great work! She is fabulous!!!!!
Such a loving sister. This was lovely to watch. Looks great!
Aw so cute. Her confidence was shining thru. It's just something about getting your hair done
You’re a sweet sister😊 She looked flawless!👏🏽
You are so right! Keep it plaited or braided! That is the way to do it! I too have this kind of hair and I always have it made in plaits or braids always! Learn to love and work with your hair! There is nothing as beautiful as working with it. You become so confident and self assured in this journey! I could never trade this experience for anything!
Your sister looks so beautiful! Thank you for sharing and making her day special! God bless you! :)
Yep, my girls hair are in box twists (I can't braid). Their hair is down their backs, but because of shrinkage, the twists always dry to above shoulder length lol. If its not in twists, their hair is cornrowed. That's why their hair has gotten to be the length it is. Plus, I aint trying to do their hair every other day...who got time for that
Absolutely beautiful. My daughter’s hair is just like your sister. You have given me hope. Don’t get me wrong natural 4C hair is beautiful in its own way. Still every now and then you want something different. Thank you so much.
she even put the products! you're like a guardian angel, I have to show this to my mom.
You look heavy handed lol her hair HAD to act right. I’m so tender handed my hair laughs at me and says “nah homie, we’re just going to defy gravity some more, but nice try!”
Aliyah Turner Lmaooo 🤣🤣; this hair had to for sure act right on this birthday 💕
My hair has been defying gravity since birth! I’ve had Coronahead for 2 months and I’ve been trying to detangle it for 3 days!! Tender headed sisters unite. 🙌🏽😢😂
Stunning!!!! Queens representing 4C waves, versatility and did I mention y'all beautiful
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! And her makeup is FLAWLESS! Thank you for sharing
I needed this bc I'm still learning how to have healthy natural hair and my princess has so much hair, she loves it always done
Ok. If I hadn't watched the whole video I wouldn't have believed she has 4c hair. And the waves are just popping. Girl you have a patient sister too. All the best in your careers, to both of you. Bless
You killed it! She's lucky to have a sis you look after her like you! She looks gorgeous! HBD to her :) Bless you !!
The 4C wave pattern looks nice when its laid, and slicked hair emphasizes her beautiful face and neck.
She is so beautiful omg the both of you.. just representing the classy dignified female of 2020.. Can't nothing stop you!!!
You have totally inspired me to do my own hair at home. I mean like I am really thinking of cutting the hair salon out except for my major cutes and color. I appreciate you and want to thank you
Shar Cuffy Awww babes I am soo happy to know that these videos are helpful! 🥺 thank you love 💕
Hair stylist will never take care of your hair the way you can and they always apply heat which is the enemy of progress. SAVE YOUR COINS 💵
This tutorial was great. Your sister looked beautiful. I will be slicking down my hair now, thank you.
you really did a slick down on your sister's hair, the face is beat and the outfit is beautiful, Awesome job my Sisters!!
This came out soo lovely.. Happy birthday beautiful!!
Lol she's like me, it takes too much to slick down my hair and too much gel products. Lol I wish I had someone to do it for me
Beautiful job and I can tell that your sister loved it, because of her smile at the end of the video ❤️
What a transformation! That turned out so beautiful
My daughter has 4c hair like this but 3 times as much hair. Her hair is so thick. I've tried to slick her hair down b4 and failed. Girl, you did this beautiful. I am definitely taking notes!!
Mine is very difficult to handle....It is 4c...I applied a whole bottle of the big gel and it was not sleek
LeShae Toliver is it no good? I’ve never used it. I also find got2be very flaky. You can’t cake it
Well done sis, this is real 4c hair ❤
FINALLY!! tried this today, did my hair at 12noon and it's still in place! :))) I'm so happy AND relieved!!
Such a wonderful sister!
Awesome, awesome, awesome.
-Black Queen! 👸🏽 👏
Amazing! Thank you! I've never tried to slick down my 4c super thick hair but this is at least method I could try.
Im learning all these things at my big age. Very helpful, and i caught some other tips too, thank you 💛
Wow she is gorgeous! And that dress fits her beautifully 🧡
beautiful ladies, I loved the hair. There's nothing greater than a sister's love. Happy belated birthday.
Niiice... you do such a wonderful job each time!!
Love your vids ❤
She's gorgeous...great job!
This is a whole transformation look! Gorgeous!😊
Very helpful. The sleek is so on point. And your makeup is pretty.
8:27 The expression of your face and the way you're tighten your lips it's the one we do when we tried to put our short 4c hair together 😂😂😂
We are prettie with our natural hair but we can't deny it's exercises for biceps 💪🏿💪🏿
Whew chile! A whole dang bottle of product for this! Bless you natural ladies
You are BOTH very beautiful. Thank you for the lesson. I am just learning my natural hair and LOVE IT!
Beautiful young lady. Her hair is the bomb😊❤️And a nursing student too! My daughter is a nurse and I know all your poor sister is getting to do is study. So sweet of you to give her a pampering break for her birthday.😊🎂❤️
Thank you I have most of these things anyway I just need oil and other products my new denman brush came today and I also have the cantu leave in conditioner 💖💖🤩🤩
Now the combination of your hair and her hair is my hairrrr literally!!!! Thank you for helping me through this quarantine. Make more videos with her please!!
New Subscriber ❤️❤️❤️
I love break it all the way down & dealt with all of her natural hair 🙋very NEAT
My hair is so disrespectful it never allows me to enjoy a sleek down bun like this. Just wish I could achieve this style, cause you make it look so easy.
Gorilla snot definitely holds my 4c hair down, but it always either flakes up or pulls out my hair (coming from tip to roots carefully) regardless 🤷🏾♀️. I love the concept though, & thank you for showing her that it IS possible to slick down 4c hair💕🥰 👏🏾 !! Don’t give up love just have patience w/ your hair, because it has patience w/ you! Trust me I know how frustrating it can get, spent many nights crying out of frustration! THANK GOD for protective styling 🙌🏾🙏🏾❤️💓💓💗
This comment is what I needed actually. Thank you. I am so tired of my daughters thick thick thick long 4a hair, that I barely have time or patience to deal with mine. It is frustrating enough with her hair (easily tangles and low porosity) drives me bonkers... I love it though...but I fight it for hours then look at my own hair and throw on a wig 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Blowing out your hair is an easier way to detangle the hair or detangle when damp
Now I know I can do mine too!!! She looks so pretty. Happy Birthday!!!
When you started, her facial expression was saying it’s not gonna work. By the time you got to the middle part,, she looked a little more optimistic.
She's beautiful 👑 💃 Happy birthday to her🙏🏼 stay safe & well 🙏🏼 Blessings!!
Shes looking at the camera like, “help me”
Looks beautiful! I just appreciate the way she spoke of her hair characteristics in a non-judgmental, matter-of-fact kind of way. I click off when the vlogger speaks in an insulting, frustrated tone about 4c.
I appreciate you taking the time to share your tips and experience. Thank you.
It came out beautiful. May she have a blessed year
I didn’t know that this was possible! That’s how thick and short my hair is . 💓 lovely
That's my Adanna😩♥️♥️. She is soo good. I wish i could meet you one day 🤗🤗
this slicked down beautifullllly 😍 very nice, shiny and moisturized without the white residue of flaking. happy belated birthday to her 💕
Happy Belated Birthday! Your sister did you proud! You look a Beaut! 👸🏾
This was beautiful and she knows she looks fresh and spicy. I love the look on her. But I also noticed you have some beautiful hands, smooth coco coloring, nicely shape and the nails gave the fingers a lengthy effect. You should do jewelry modeling, your hands are perfect.
U see when the genetics runs in the blood eei u can never go wrong 💯😂😂💓
Gorgeous! She did an excellent job. I'm gonna try it on my hair.
OMG how beautiful! Her hair looks gorgeous and she looks stunning 🤩
Great job ❤️
Goodmorning babes 🌹; thumbs up if you found it helpful 🙋🏾♀️💕
Looks really lovely, so neat👍she looks lovely, cant tell the difference between her hair n the hair peice. Btw remember when u showed us that outfit u have on, looks great, color blends well with ur complexion, it looks really comfortable. Y'all have slight resemblance though
Bbz I tried it out and my hair is still stubborn 😞😞😞
How long does it last for?
👍
Adanna Madueke sister ain’t smiling?
