I have been doing the hammer reverse-slam by accident because of control sticks like you have been doing, like, all the time. So, im ordering Hall-Effect sticks on a new controller to see if that fixes it or if its a known issue with Tri AND 3U. Cause im on fan-server Tri. Same exact weird spin around from the way we let go of the thumbstick on hammer. It might be mitigated by? Switching to thumbstick attack style? I dont know. Ill try that if the Hall-Effect sticks dont fix it.
It's not a function of the position detector, its a problem with how springy the stick is when it snaps back. i will let the stick re-center itself, and for this controller, the little rubber bands in there (or whatever they use to re-center) are just too strong, so it overshoots the center position and registers a stick movement in the exact opposite direction. the real solution is to have a bigger deadzone in the center position, but idk if i can customize that on wii u.
I’m genuinely curious if a lot of people who are subbed to you to will decide to play mh3u for a bit and play on servers. (Basically I’m curious if the server numbers get a bit of a spike lol)
3U is the last true Monster Hunter game in my opinion, everything after it is still good but they went too wacky, we now have jumped up turbo monsters with glowy zones, hyper, apex, tempered, afflicted it goes on and on, they don't feel like real worlds any more.
True actually. As much as I like the newer stuff, this and older felt more like a realistic hunting Sim for fantasy monsters. Now it's now like anime hunting sim.
Wish capcom would re-release all of these older titles on PC.
Would be an instant buy from me!
same.
I always wanted to try the third and fourth gen games, they look really fun
3u is back to basics. people can learn a lot from the slower pace and more deliberate gameplay.
I put most of my MH time into 3 and 4
I actually thought the black and white camera was cool
I actually just started my playthrough of 3U at the same time lol. I stopped to play through Frontier though

No problem! I just started myself. Just waiting on the new servers, in the meantime, I'm playing Frontier

I think the 3u servers got shut down recently.
