Most are freaking great imo. For me with each update to classes it's been a 90/10. 90% good to great, while 10% negitive or horrible. Overall happy.
The templar charge makes me miss the tormentor aoe taunt, it wasn't bis but it was fun
Idk why they hate air taunts. They are fun. Not broken. IMO it's just quality of life and makes tanking a lower barrier to entry WE NEED MORE TANKS
As a nightblade tank, im a little upset that Dark cloak isnt a toggled ability, really hate reactivating it every 4 seconds.
The non sorc pet thing is affected by the apocryphal emissary vision from the archives. It is counted as a permanent pet.

Why will they not change all classes to the arcanist thing where you always use the resource that’s highest or lowest so we can choose the way to play without being stuck by morphs
Because Arcanist plays exactly the same way as Mag and Stam, so it doesn't matter which one you have more of.

Stop nerfing classes and just buff the ones that need buffed. Nerfing obviously isn't helping anything since they have to do it all the time. All it's doing is just destroying classes and sets at this point. Change PVP and PVE where the sets themselves dont even correlate the same in different content. Just because pvp is whining about classes and changes doesnt mean for the rest of us on the pve side of things to suffer the consequences. We always just have to pick up the slack and change our builds and sets. Make pve and pvp vastly different in skill and class and sets. Its that way in Wow. It can be that way on Eso!

It can be done, they've already laid the ground work for this type of change with the battle spirit passive but they've never learned to lean into that.

Major and minor breech from one spell that destroys everything twice in one cast.
Gives group entire major resistance, 2k extra resources, heals and aoe damages enemies at the same time. Does "well rounded" mean op as fuck?

@@DS-lk3tx The funny thing is that sub assault used to have major breach. Back around summerset. They took it away because it was too strong, then gave it back but only to the magic version deep fissure. But they also gave it minor breach and a 12%damage buff on its 2nd hit

@@DS-lk3txnone of that even compares to NB, Sorc, or DK’s kits. Wardens shine like that in group settings because of the support they provide, the damage however is not coming from them. It comes from the other classes in the group. Wardens by themselves are not Op in the slightest and honestly need buffs.

Maybe is just me but, it is really obvious now, 2024, that HYBRIDIZATION was a good choice in the past but is becoming a HUGE TESO HANDICAP TODAY. ZoS is slowly and silently ERASING many of those past decitions.

Isso é ridículo. Já me cansei de ver essas mudanças estúpidas - classes são o que são, umas melhores que as outras em determinados conteúdos e isso é normal. Não faz sentido mudar tanto uma classe ao ponto de ser irreconhecível, perder todo sentido e essência.
Um exemplo disso: a ideia de se jogar com Sorcerer sem o uso de pets. Quando isso se tornou realidade, então eles modificam a skill que tornava isso possível, deixando de ser - ou se tornando mais difícil, tendo de abrir mão de mais uma skill. Claro, nada tão drástico, mas isso fará com que a melhor escolha volte a ser Sorcerer com pets - e então voltamos à estaca zero. Por que fazer a mudança se planeja desfazê-la? São builds SOLO - o que isso importa? Não estão atrapalhando nada nem ninguém, deixando de fazer nada, é algo sem sentido. Da mesma forma com as novas classes. São lançadas, para vender atualizações, depois nerfadas ao ponto de serem quase inúteis. Qual sentido disso? Necromancer estava "morto" (sem trocadilhos) até melhorarem algumas skills, darem alguns buffs, mas não sem, em troca, tirarem algo. Ou seja, no lançamento a galera comprou, deixou de vender tanto, detonaram a classe. A mesma coisa com Arcanist agora... Isso é sem sentido.
i'd rather shadow cloak take a huge chunk of resources at once, either mag / stam/ health, like 50% instead of a toggle. then you get refunded if you exit stealth below a certain time, more or less depending on duration. toggles are not fun in eso. (vampire toggle is one of the worst feeling abilities in the game)
I use the vampire toggle and with my build even at stage 4 I don't lose much.

I stop paying attention to nerfs / buffs a few updates ago. I made a scribed magicka pull for my necro. I don’t care that armor now provides major and minor resolve, I still run resolving vigor, I don’t care that boneyard provides minor vuln now, I still don’t run it. My necro tank is unchanged from about a year ago other than I farmed the new set from lucent citadel. Still doing tris and blissfully unaware of what I could be doing if I paid attention to nerfs / buffs.

Their explanation for the cloak change is absolutely absurd.... It's already easily accessible. All you have to do is put it on your bar and press a button there you go, you've accessed it. Also, if they want to make stark costs for using it. You don't have to make it a toggle that disables your magic recovery. You can just give it ramping costs like streak. You can even give it a higher ramping cost than streak, say 50% rather than 33.
But if you read the description for the warden ultimate northern storm, the math doesn't even make sense in their description either so
I honestly think these people don't even know what they're doing anymore. Their full focus is on crownstore monetization schemes

As soon as you get the reward of recreating your character, switching out sets, rotation, gold gear. NERF!! It’s just too much. Was a fan from day 1 but, I give up on this game it’s annoying now.
Honestly, I think nb cloak will be difficult, especially for magblade build. I can see it’ll work on stamblade. But I think zos need to change the cloak cost.
They should change the cloak at the cost of the lowest max resources. For example, if I want to build magblade, then mag will be the highest and stam will be the lowest. Therefore, cloak should be the cost of stam instead of mag. Same for stamblade. Highest stam and lowest mag. So, cloak should be the cost of mag instead of stam.
Similar to Arcanist, whatever the highest max resource you have, it’ll be the cost to activate it skills. Except for nb cloak, whatever the lowest/least max resources will be the cost to cast/activate it skill.
The problem with cloak in update 44 (PVE and PVP), it’ll be difficult to maintain healing. Especially when your mag recovery stop while in cloak. Most NB healing abilities cost either mag or health. Nb only survivability or defensive abilities are cloak. Although, lately players in pvp know how to counter nb cloak, by canceling it with mage light or camouflage ability. Nb barely have any good resistances compared to any other class passives (I think). Nb healing abilities r pretty much useless. Heal then sacrifice partial health, or barely keep up healing. So I say the cloak is a massive nerf in pvp, and somewhat a nerf in pve. Bc you deal extra dmg to “MONSTERS” (pve), and not any other opponent or in general. Idk what zos is thinking. So it a nerf.
Nerfing my favorite skills for Nightblade and Sorcerer isn't winning them any warm feelings from my part. Maybe it's time to put the subscription on hold for a bit again until I forget the slap on the face.

Played for years, yet it was the Plague break nerf that pissed me off the most in PVE. It sucked the fun right out, for those of us not as interested in PVP.
I JUST started building a mag sorc as my first PvP character. I already made all the gold gear and everything. 😭
Crafti Alfiq and Wretched Vitality will still be meta so you're fine and if you went with Sergeants and Deadly/ Nights Mother you'll still be fine

It will remove magblades from pvp. everyone I have spoken too thinks this is a direct attack on magblades in cyrodiil, making them not effective anymore.
That's a massive nerf for Arcanist shield. Massive.
I've gotten used to running the scribing skill Warding Soul, with a dmg shield, a HoT and Minor Resolve. (Damage Shield, Sage's Tenacity, I forget the 3rd name). Combined with the Fatecarver shield you get while channeling, I don't miss the arc shield.
Don't worry, they gonna keep nerfing Arcanist even more as patches go on. Newest class has been out for a while, so now they start nerfing to prepare for the new class and have delusional people buy into the hype again of it being this new, strong class
Sorc changes are great no nerds just changes. Hardened Ward was overtuned for PvP and the Shield is Fine for PvE
i'm just sick of having to change up my character to compensate for them constantly making changes. what seems like a small nerf can completely trash my build. i've been away playing GW2 atm and this stuff makes it hard for me to to want to come back
All nerfs mainly come from pvp. And pvp ruins it for alot. What i think would be fair is if the nerfs apply for pvp modes/zones instead of overall. Example, the flails execute was taken away and stuff. If your not in pvp let the skill keep the execute outside of pvp zone. Look what they do with healing and health recovery and others while in battlegrounds and cyrodil. Things always balance out ends up working and stays fun but thats my personal opinion.
Agree. They need to find a way to separate pve and pvp in terms of skills so you can adjust each individually so you can nerf something in lvl and not hurt the class in pvp and vice versa.

i get what you're saying but most nerfs come from pve.. flail was nerfed because of it being overused in pve and the other morph not being used enough(which is stupid imo not like people will stop using flail because of fatecarver being so strong) the execute should be staying in pvp not pve if anything... pve is the root cause of almost all nerfs since majority of players are pve players. but i agree with u on the fact they need to find a way to separate the two.

Shadow cloak is dead pretty much especially for stamblades now, who had any survivability thrown out of the window gg zos, magblade will most likely use it tho, stamina nightblade has no other choice but to be a heavy armoured brawler in PvP.

Your fine bro, I play stealth playstyle without using niteblade, all you have to do is practice and you'll be fine.
Cloak is fine, it's been tested plenty on the PTS and there are already builds that give permanent cloak without having to press buttons to maintain it.
Stamblade is fine too, offering is still one of the strongest burst heals in the game thanks to all the damage and crit modifiers NB still has. Roll dodge is still very powerful and cheaper than ever thanks to blur, blur which also gives you 12 seconds minimum of major resolve from passives thanks to the skill move from last patch. NB also still has all of it's basically free movement speed untouched too.
So nerf everything except dragon knight, class is already the bis in pve tanking and now they nerf arcanist the only rival to it, and they want to know why their player count keeps going down and down
Been playing just over 3 years and trust me my dk has had many nerfs. Its eso everything gets nerfed. Pyre brand is getting nerfed.

ZoS is on a mission to castrate nightblades out of pvp. Nightblades are squishy to begin with and the cloak is our primary defensive mechanism, Bad enough detect pot's range is the size of a football field. Magblades if your caught cloaking good luck with little to no magicka to casts spells to defend, and Stamblades can forget any viable cloaking with small magicka pools, but at least you'll have stamina to use skills and defend an attack. They really should rethink the resource design/cost, maybe have it consume only when moving.. I dunno?

All the nerfs and constant armor sets added that negate earlier ones etc are why I finally gave up on ESO. IMO it’s worse than the constant changes WoW goes through and that’s saying a lot.
What's the point in all the constant massive changes when everything in 95% of the game that is all 95% of the players play dies in 1 to 2 hits anyway?
Still no veteran overland option. Still no cyrodil performance fixes last I checked. Still no animation changes to the floaty skills. Still making massive class changes every patch.
Can't they just hire some people capable of doing their jobs. Such a waste of a game that has massive potential ruined by it's massive flaws.

I think that dk needs a poison stam whip and the sorc shield needs to not scale off max mag or hp rather weapon spell damage or hp this way you can't stack 60k mag and be god

Shield stacking won't be back outside of a super niche tank build that doesn't do anything but cast shields. The durations of the shields are too short to stack multiples and then be able to do anything else.

There's also no real need to stack shields now outside of wanting to or niche builds. Hardened is enough on its own and the small change to the healing numbers won't change that.

Given how buggy and trashy this game is when it comes to toggles, shadow cloak turning into a toggle is a massive over-all nerf. It makes it _drastically_ worse in every sense. For a whole lot of us, toggles _do not work_ properly, at all, ever, because they either don't start properly or they don't turn off properly.
If you’re playing an overpowered build that abuses some of the class balancing blind spots , you’re in a puddle of tears right now wailing.
The rest of us get the changes. If you don’t like being nerfed don’t build into the most obvious advantage every streamer advertises every single patch; otherwise… sounding surprised after the 1000th time just sounds silly.

Cloak has been tested plenty on the PTS, it's more than fine and there are already builds popping up that give truly permanent cloak without needing to press the button every 3 seconds.
Some in the diil will be happy to hear this 😂 as for me..I've had to cancel my + as of mid nov and will be saying g'bye to gaming until finances improve or the war ends lol whichever happens first...sooo...my sorc will be parked in eso limbo whatever they shank from her..sigh.
Make pvp and pve different every other mmo does this, if they cant it's a dev and studio skill issue

Some decent changes here,.. I just wish they'd stop nerfing the Arcanist already. The loss of the only execute/burst on flail last patch was a huge punch to the gut and I wish they'd just quit kicking the class while it's already hurting. just my opinion, kinda biased maining an Arcanist though :)

It's not funny. It's happening to alot of people and when you make a build, they nerf the game so bad you don't even want to return anymore because you've wasted time making your build and character just to have to switch to a different class or a whole new set that's gonna cost alot of money. Most people can't even get gold sets and settle for purple and that's not good.
Not everybody has the time needed to level a whole new character and run after new sets because they wanna mess with everything in the game. We work, we are called the working class. We don't have time.

My pve nb had cloak as its only skill ability. I will see how it plays out, but suddenly I kind of want a paid class change token to be implemented.
If they think this will suddenly fix pve nbs, I feel they are mistaken.
Necros are almost useless in end game content now. They were nerfed into almost oblivion.
They are going to have to fix the necromancers' critical damage it is pathetic now. Where you used tohave the ability, if you really tried to get 90k parses now, you can't at all come anywhere close to those numbers, but hey, you sure can with the scorceror, tho. The problem is that people need to be able to reach 80 to 90k parses because you aren't even allowed in most trial and vet trials unless you are pushing those numbers. I've seen massive guilds now accepting people as low as 50k, and that's not good.
My group’s necros hover around 100k but are stagnating. Testing the new banner ability with class mastery got them to like 40k max stam. Necros are fine rn
No, they are not. Do you realize they nerfed the critical damage down 25% on the necro. My friend use to push 90k dps on a single parse and can only hit 65k with changing out 5 different sets and champion points.
@@itzmen4t338 Not to be rude, but that’s your friend’s problem. None of my guildmates are having any issues, in fact they’re happy that necros are competant again.

@@itzmen4t338 we’re all 1500-2000+ CP and regularly run HM trials. One of my guildmates parsed on his bow/bow necro today and (I quote him here) “hit 103k on an easy static rotation.”
The fact that you think level is the issue is honestly insulting. Maybe which sets you’re running isn’t what’s dropping your dps.

And us sorcs are extremely squishy. The shield nerf wasn’t necessary. We don’t have bar space to slot a heal. Vigor is ran by some but I don’t. I already get minor resolve from the class.
If you're struggling to survive on a sorc nothing will help you

sorc G master crafter here. so they ruined the economy nothing sells or sells for less than craft cost no thanks and now nerfing my main as well, time to go play GW2 awhile, every day I play ESO Im just losing money with listing fees and seriously those fees should be commission only meaning if your item sells they collect plus a "small" listing fee, now I list a rare item for 1 mil and it doesnt sell in 2 weeks now I got 100k why'd you try to sell something tax!
For one thing, that $1 million item you mentioned, 90% or higher of the entire player base, doesn't have that kind of gold. You are selling to the 10% or less and wonder why your item is not selling. ESO is a game, not a money slot simulation. If you only find enjoyment out of selling items to a small percentage of players, you might find mobile games your passion.
Pretty weak class changes. Wouldn't need to fix skills if zos hadn't nerfed them into the ground to begin with. They are taking a crack at arcanist now. NB change is going to make zero difference. Templar change is minor. Cro still isn't viable, if you want to be competitive in pvp. Hang in there cro mains!

No they don't! Stop nerfing classes and just buff the ones that need buffed. Nerfing obviously isn't helping anything since they have to do it all the time. All it's doing is just destroying classes and sets at this point.

I was thinking of coming back to the game but after seeing the new DEI companion and all the nerfs to my favorite builds I will continue to play other games. I just deleted the game from my drive.
