Heron from Right to Left (Plus Slo Mo)

I have a dashcam in the truck, which thankfully in 3 years hasn’t been called on until today. A great blue heron swooped down from the right, and was as surprised as we were to find himself outracing the grill of a truck going 30mph.
Our view was brighter, clearer and closer than the wide angle lens of this cam.
I did not think about it before, but the cartoons of the 50’s and60’s captured well the look of terror on this bird’s face.
All’s well that ends well!
