Different sizes and different tones for variety, plus the possibly of playing them together for a big sound when appropriate! Do you have any tips on how to quickly cross over from the crash to the ride? My school kit only has one crash cymbal on the left hand side of the kit and it seems like too big of a jump for me to make at that tempo.
Hi Calum, yes that's one of the big challenges here for Grade 3 I'd say. Work at it! It'll take some times for most Grade 3 drummers to build that speed I'd say.
