What's up, buddy? First off, I want to thank you for another awesome year of reflections and analysis of the Michigan Football games. What a season it was!!! We finally did it!!! Team 144 will forever go down as one of the greatest teams to ever wear the winged helmets. And about this game...we came and balled out, man!!! There was never a time in this game, for me, that I doubted us winning and that was mainly due to the play of Edwards; 2 carries, 87 yards and 2 TD's. Reminded me of his game against ttds. When that guy gets rolling, watch out! We were all over Penix and never made him feel comfortable in the pocket and we also took away his running ability as well. Washington had a star QB and 3 NFL ready receivers and we SHUT THEM DOWN!!! Crazy stat: Washington's Total Yards were 301 and Michigan's Rushing Yards were 303. We pounded them into the ground with our run game!!! And yes, Mikey was a beast once again and that INT by Johnson, on the 1st play of the 2nd half was huge! Anywho, WE DID IT, buddy!!! We are National Champions and no one will ever be able to take that away from us!!! Who's got it better than us? NOBODY!!! GO BLUE!!!
It still hasn't sunk in yet for me but our defense won us the game. JJ did alright but if you have a defense like ours. He doesn't have to do that much
