My m2 v2 did that on its maiden flight! I did a flip, and then the tail went absolutely nuts spinning. I believe one side of the tail rotor broke off. That was the only damage (throttle hold before impact) other than a cracked canopy. So with that not spinning when it hit the ground that had to have been what happened. O m p did send me new tail rotor blades a boom, and I think that's about it, but my canopy was also cracked.
@@OregonMotorcycle Luckily motor itself is fine. Most likely the prop "rapidly disassembled" due to micro-cracks from previous crashes. BTW since that time, I replaced the whole tail to one from M2 Evo, no issues with blowout after that.
@@lev_on_heli Cool deal. I have about 15 flights on my Evo and on my last flight the tail started blowing out. Did a few pumps and it was blowing out almost 90*! I landed and the tail motor was so hot I couldn't touch it. Not sure what to do besides replace the tail motor. I might take it apart and check the bearings today. Tail rotor looks fine and I have no crashes or hard landings.
@@OregonMotorcycle wow, that's a surprise. Ah, did you check the tail prop direction? It can be placed in two ways but must be placed in one specific way - sharper edges towards you. Hope that's clear :)

Bummer man them tiny motors can overheat when pushed hard
oh, didn't know. That could be the reason for the blowout. The motor squeaked like crazy in this wind.
@@lev_on_helibad bearing maybe? What was the damage?
