Yes! You've got it right! I even had to cover my feet with a towel because they were burning 😄 Yeah, the landing was not easy at all, but 580 is very docile and stable, so it was manageable overall. Thank you 😊

@@RCCopterLove Thank you! I don't have a car now, so it'd be difficult with my 580. But I fly my M2 near home every day, so I get at least some real practice!

@@lev_on_heli Thats very true! For a 580 you must have a car to transport it. Thats also why I love my M2's so much. To ride to a field too far away from my home to walk, I put the M2 foambox, tha transmitter and batteries into a big trecking backpack and ride with my mountainbike!! All the very best for you!!

@@RCCopterLove I do exactly the same with a backpack! Although I had to buy another case for my TX, a more compact one, now it all fits nicely. Probably, I can reach better fields by bike, I need to explore I guess 😄Thank you, best wishes for you too!

Thank you for your kind words, I'm very pleased :) I use IdleUP2 mode for higher RPM - then it behaves much closer to my 580, better resists winds, and overall more locked-in. So my usual practice is first one or two flights in IU1 - practice all circles and funnels in all orientations nose-forward and tail-forward, and on flights after "warm-up" I turn on IU2. Thank you for the kind words! Yeah, it was a bit nervous for the first time with a bigger heli, but it's so joyful to fly and easier indeed. I switch to doing a maneuver on Raw 580 after I can complete it on M2 without losing orientation. I don't spend time polishing precision on M2 - bigger heli provides much more precision and smoothness by itself.

@@lev_on_heli Thats sounds very logical! Sometime we pilots, especially when you are not having very much experience like I, have to jump over a rather psychological barrier :D . Thats how it seems to me. Especilly with bigger helis. I am relaively new to my M4's compared to my M2's. I will train more with my M2's until I feel as comfortable as in the Simulator. Then I will go out with the M4!! But I can feel the nervousness already now! You are doing a great job with F3N trainigs!

@@RCCopterLove Thank you! Everybody faces that barrier, that's true. Don't keep your M4 on the shelf, you will never be as comfortable as in the sim. Bring it out and at least hover it or do some basic circles :) Just don't push yourself, do as simple flights as possible, no new maneuvers. Several flights with hovers are perfectly fine, even if you can do much more advanced moves with M2 or sim you aren't obligated to do them on M4 right away.

@@lev_on_heli Thank you for your encouragement. I was flying my M 4's a lot. all stuff like loops, flips, funnels, hurrricans. I just do exactly what you recommend: The very new stuff like forward half rolls to inverted or rolling out of loops on top to inverted I want to train a little bit more often with the small helis before I give it a trial with my M4's. Exactly as you wrote! The day will come and it will be a great day! These maneuvers are looking so great with your RAW. So much more present in thre air! Not to mention the sound of the main blades... te best music!! Happy flights!!

Thank you! Yes, it's easy to just make some loop, but it's not that easy to have control of all parts of the loop to compensate for drifts and wind, I work on that.

UR welcome :) He's crazy, but not that crazy to break safety :) He kept the distance, and when things didn't work as he expected, he hit the motor off and this distance was enough for heli to lose its energy and fall. That's why he barely moved.

The heli lost all its energy since Nick hit throttle hold in time, that's why he wasn't scared much, at the moment it was just 4kg of falling stuff. The distance is OK, all of the pilots are keeping it, and this distance is needed exactly for such cases, so I guess regular safety rules worked just fine. And luckily this hobby doesn't have a lot of accidents, hope it will continue and no one will be hurt.

@@lev_on_heli I fly as well and yes you become almost one with the machine when doing hard manuevers. This is beyond insane and I truly can appreciate his talent on the sticks.

100%! There were so many "close" and "too close" moments during the competition, so many crashed helis 😄

Спасибо) Верт достаточно дорогой, уже не помню точно сколько, около 100 тыс руб вроде было вместе с сетапом, если хотеть дешевле, можно взять тот же XlPower, правда на цену начинки это не сильно повлияет, поэтому я и решил взять рав. Я сейчас в Астане, зима тут жёсткая, поэтому с того раза зимой я больше не летал - то ниже -15, то ветрище, то всё вместе, летаю в симуляторе.

oh, didn't know. That could be the reason for the blowout. The motor squeaked like crazy in this wind.

@@OregonMotorcycle Luckily motor itself is fine. Most likely the prop "rapidly disassembled" due to micro-cracks from previous crashes. BTW since that time, I replaced the whole tail to one from M2 Evo, no issues with blowout after that.

@@lev_on_heli Cool deal. I have about 15 flights on my Evo and on my last flight the tail started blowing out. Did a few pumps and it was blowing out almost 90*! I landed and the tail motor was so hot I couldn't touch it. Not sure what to do besides replace the tail motor. I might take it apart and check the bearings today. Tail rotor looks fine and I have no crashes or hard landings.

@@OregonMotorcycle wow, that's a surprise. Ah, did you check the tail prop direction? It can be placed in two ways but must be placed in one specific way - sharper edges towards you. Hope that's clear :)
