Ok. If the tail blade was damaged (out of box) I don't think you would have got off the ground. Second tail is acting that way due to no main blades on. If by chance you have only flown blade helis before the M2, ( like the 230 a very tame heli in comparison) there is a bit of a learning curve due to the power and performance is so much greater on the M2.
Did the first spool up with main blades on Kurt, after the second time that the tail blades blew off, i demounted the main blades to see what's going on. Then i noticed the tail motor is doing strange things. The first spool up it blew the tail blades, i noticed that the tail motor was hot
Aww that's a bit dissapointing Adnan!! I think you are right about the tail rotor direction but have you checked how it behaves when you spool up with the main blades attached? I would spool it up carefully and see if the tail moves correctly to your transmitter inputs, you will be able to tell straight away.
Yes i did, the first i spooled her up was with the main blades and then it blew my taiblade off. Changed the taiblade right away with a new one, and she did the same, blew the tailblade off. Then i did a test without the mainblades and i found out the tailmotor is doing strange things.
Yeah, very. I was really curious abouth this one. Turns out to be a problem child😆. And sure i can spend some time for searching on the internet for some trouble shooting and change the tail motor but i just don't wanna, i spend some money on this, i want a good product, tyred with these companies to be honest. The error this M2 EVO is having should have been noticed in the factory. It's something that is easy seeing with the eye. Ah men i am so dissapointed. Was checking out the M4, but that one is not going to be in my house😂
I've seen a similar problem after a crash. The problem was one of the three wires that is soldered onto the tail motor broke. Easy fix if you can solder.
Yes, i can fix this. But i not going to do it. I am waithing for the reply from OMPhobby. This M2 evo had never crashed. Like you saw in this upload. Right out of the box, with a tail motor problem. Thanks for you're comment and thanks for watching😄👍
You have a break on the wiers that are soder to the tail motor shach of rubber coating and you will find a wire not solder to it and . Just soder the wire back on the board. Fix
Well, it was quite the journey. First OMPHOBBY told me that esc is having an failure. After mounting the new esc, i still had the same problem. Then after a while, found that the solded section on the tail was very bad. Repaired the 3 wires on the tail and it's all good now. Thank you for watching and thanks for you're comment😀👍
Mine and my brothers heli’s have done something similar. I had it in a hover at about 25’, lost the tail and it went into an uncontrollable pirouette. With my brothers as he was about to take off multiple times the tail jumped counterclockwise about 60 degrees. They are both a couple weeks old and never been crashed.
That is a shame. Check the wiring on the tail section, where the heatshrink is. Hope you guy's will sorted it out! Thank you for stopping by at my channel, preciete.
@@adnanlamri I will check that. It is a fun little heli. I have flown it since then, and it seems to happen when pitch pumping in stability mode in normal mode. I flew in idle up 1 and 2 today in acro mode and never had a problem.
@@badBrad3 also, don't put any loctite on the screws from the tail rotor. The loctite is going to "eat" the tail rotor. It's better to put a tiny, just tiny drup in the thread off the motor.
Any new rc purchased, gets a full inspection, and possibly disassembly/fault repair. Regardless if its a car, plane, helicopter. It's RC 101. When anything is mass produced, mistakes happen. To err is to be human. I'd fault QC here. However, spending the boot for this indicates the buyer should posses some knowledge and basic troubleshooting skills and tools. Eh, what do I know, just an engineer.
For sure qc! I was amazed that mine was with an error, cause all the other ones that i saw where perfect. Long story short, she fly's now😀👌. OMPHOBBY sended me a new esc, unfortunately it wasn't the esc. The wires from the tail motor where bad soldered. All fixed now. Thank you for you're comment and thanks for watching😀👍
@@matthewkirkpatrick5545 well, it can be both😆unfortunately. We sended a small video to OMPHOBBY, the claimed that the esc is not working well. Sended me a new one
Man that is, ok Raido master open tx is a whole new animal all together, I use the raidomaster tx 16s edge open tx, yes there is presets for omp I think, configure every thing on you input page, tie them together on your mixes pg, your output pg just use for reversing, you have to build each curve and add those to your inputs, I do agree with Ian throw some main blades on her and spool her up, there is no torque for the gyro to respond with head hold for the tail motor to spool. duel brushless. if you need some help with your raido master www.youtube.com/@RCVideoReviews that guy there is amazing with them.
I know what you mean. But this is a rtf, it should be working right out of the box right? The first spool up was with the main blades Jason. Second spool also. So it blew 2x the tail blades off. Then i demounted the main blades and noticed this what you can see in this upload. The tail motor is doing weird things. Big thanks for the link!
@@adnanlamri Again it could be as simple as a bad tail motor or esc, OMP is usually good with their products. I'm on the sideline waiting for the M4. You should be able to get it replaced with omp.
@@JCO_RC They are going to have a look at it on Wednesday. I hope they can sort it out. I am having some difficult times private and then i bought this brand new M2 evo and i had this problem with the tail, it's not satisfying me if you now what i mean Jason✌️

Update on mine (was doing excact same thing)Company sent me out a new tail motor, installed it. Flys perfectly now. So it is your tail motor.
Ok, then i am more curious now if only the esc, which omphobby sent me, will do the job. I am also having question marks on the tailmotor....😄
