I love JS Pescado's mods. I don't have many, but I get his which correct glitches. When I heard this song I saw this in my mind's eye. It rather created itself. And thank you so much. I thought I'd replied earlier, but I guess I didn't hit the "reply" button.
As a VoicePlay patron, really urge you to check out their original video (and their version of 'Hoist the Colours'). They are an insanely talented and very theatrical acapella group.
They are so incredibly talented! The song is originally from New Zealand maritime culture in the mid 19th century. The strongest attribution is that it was indeed written by pirates, but there is no clear composer. As best as I can tell, shanties were collaborative creations. The group is so much fun to watch!
After discovering them, I watched many of their videos! I haven't seen that one though. I can say I literally listened to this at least a hundred times whilst making the video.
I love that you got Eli's eyebrows right. Well done.
@@EmmaYadkin of the five of them, he was the one I had the most fun with. And he definitely uses his eyebrows extraordinarily well!
Former TS2-era MATY regular here. Mad respect for the time, mods and cc this must have taken (and also your excellent taste in a capella music!)

That was so much fun! I've never heard of Voice Play before nor this song. Perfect choice for a pirate video.

Wow! I can't imagine the time it took to do this! Each scene is fantastic!!!
Thank you! Honestly, I'm unsure exactly how long because it was done in several sessions, but I would guess about 10-12 hours.
