Correction! Finn using his basic when he has 3 stacks of translation does not reduce his cooldowns. His cooldowns are reduced if he has 3 stacks of translation and c3po uses his basic. The strategy remains the same - you wouldn't want to call c3po to assist on kylo because he would reduce his TM and therefore buff him. It's still good to pass as many turns as possible to Finn regardless, because every turn he takes is a turn you get to cycle through his cooldowns. Honestly it's a wild event. Entire thing revolves around staying alive long enough to get the ball rolling and then managing whirlwinds. But yeah, with how much I struggled prior to coming up with this strategy, I just about lost my mind when I was looking at my characters for the video and bb8 had no mods. Lol. I can't even imagine how easy this becomes if you've got "god mods".

Not once, even on successful attempts, was I not worried about something going wrong and failing unexpectedly.
I have had Rey for a few months now and i have been farming for the ult with almost no succes. I was like 40 attempts in with 6 wins with my strategy, decided to try this and now i'm 2 out of 2 even with basically only c3po and rey having mods. This saved me like 30 attempts from the future thank you.

This is fire. This is my 5th GL and I have wasted probably the most tickets on this event. I waited until my Rey was R7 and I have 5/6 zetas on her. I think if I did it this way I wouldn’t have lost one time.
This guide was great. I tried the Zorii strat and failed, then tried BB8/RH Bros and won once and failed once, but this worked better than any other I've done, everyone survived. Thanks heaps!

I'm hoping to be one of thise success stories for you soon. I currently have 3P0 at g12, but I recently unlocked Rey. Need two more Kyrotech pieces to reach g12, then I have to farm most of her right-side g12 pieces plus the 100 more kyrotech. I have the relics to go straight to r8 once I finish her gear. Only thing is, I'm zeta poor. I'm on Tier 5 right now till I zeta Whirlwind. I have only her Leadership zeta so far. Next is Whirlwind. Should Lifeblood or Galactic Legend be third? Is it possible to do this without one of those zetas (LB/ GL)? Or do I need all 4 minimum? Obviously I will get them all, but it'd be nice to start getting ult mats sooner.

Happy to help. Not looking to be a SWGOH content creator, just noticed when I was doing it that all the guides seemed way too RNG-dependent / easy to screw up in general. Nothing seemed foolproof. So I kept going at it until I figured it out.
Yeah this guide works like a charm. I ran this with Rey at R6 and at 479 speed along with JkR at R7, BB8 at R7, C3P0 R4 and Hero Finn with R5 and just average mods auto filled. Ran it again after the successful 1st try and it worked flawlessly even with a few misteps on purpose.
Huge thank you this guide is amazing and works every time I even lost my JTR to some bad RNG and made it though no dropped tickets at all since I used this strat. Those raiders take forever though 😂 to finish off
Won the first one using your strategy very easily and then lost the 2nd one - not sure if just very unlucky RNG but Finn was getting stunned non stop on the 2nd time and I couldnt put SLKR down quick enough. Nice guide though, have subbed :)

I’ll add to all the praise, shopped around a bit with post lightspeed guides with low zetas. Hadn’t tried tier 6 yet because I know it’s notoriously hard and wanted a solid guide to work off. Worked perfectly. Have a Relic 6 Rey with 4 zetas and never felt in danger. Obviously haven’t done it multiple times yet but I see no reason why it wouldn’t work consistently, especially when I get my Rey to R7. Great Guide.
Awesome. Yeah I may be biased but I tried all the others and they never feel "secure". Always feel like you're one bad RNG turn away from disaster. And often you're advised to swap to God mods.
You arent going to believe this but i put in the wrong Finn and it still worked. I tried so many strategies with Zorii etc and lost them all. Tried this the first time and did it with the wrong Finn. He did die half way through but was able to get rid of SLKR shortly after.

My two* attempts have been smooth like butter! *An addendum - I did try and do this before I had the Zeta on GL Ray's Lifeblood (with otherwise more or less the same setup as you), and faceplanted the couple of times I tried it. Once I got enough Zetas to add them - THAT is when the smooth like butter happened.
This video is great, I didn't remod for the event, I did have a lot of zetas though, and I had no idea what I was really doing but giving everything to Finn and won without losing anyone. Thank you it was very useful

me too, i actually gave up on Reys Ultimate after being 1 for 7 and having the right mods, RNG suxs and losing 70 tickets isn't funny.

Obviously haven’t done it multiple times yet but I see no reason why it wouldn’t work consistently, especially when I get my Rey to R7. Great Guide.
Awesome. Yeah I may be biased but I tried all the others and they never feel "secure". Always feel like you're one bad RNG turn away from disaster. And often you're advised to swap to God mods.
You arent going to believe this but i put in the wrong Finn and it still worked.
I tried so many strategies with Zorii etc and lost them all. Tried this the first time and did it with the wrong Finn. He did die half way through but was able to get rid of SLKR shortly after.
Hopefully when I stack my tokens and go again Ill do it with the correct lineup.

*An addendum - I did try and do this before I had the Zeta on GL Ray's Lifeblood (with otherwise more or less the same setup as you), and faceplanted the couple of times I tried it. Once I got enough Zetas to add them - THAT is when the smooth like butter happened.
